Ik heb zelf altijd katten gehad en een Engelse bulldog, verder in "co ouderschap" 2 honden die uit Curaçao kwamen. I had my own mixed Labrador, Pepe, who peacefully passed away last August at the age of 13.5. Since then, I’ve truly missed having my best buddy beside me for hikes in nature and swims by the sea. I live in the center of The Hague, within walking distance of forests and parks. I also have a fenced garden with a parasol that provides shade during the summer months. I only accept vaccinated dogs and prefer calm, non-aggressive, and non-excessively barking dogs so the neighbors are not disturbed. I am especially patient with senior dogs and still have all the necessary support equipment from caring for my elderly Pepe. I generally prefer dogs staying longer than 5 days, as it takes time for them to feel comfortable and get to know me, and I enjoy building a real connection with the dogs I care for. While your dog is staying with me, you can expect regular photo and video updates from our forest walks and outdoor adventures. During weekends, I often drive to the beach so the dogs can play, explore, and enjoy the sea as well. Your dog will be cared for with patience, respect, and love, and I’m confident they will be in very good hands with me.

Dawn took great care of our dog while we were away. She gave him a lot of love and attention and I could tell by the videos he got comfortable really fast, to the point he wanted all attention for himself xD We are very grateful that she had the time and that Spico had a great time as well. I didn't feel the need to keep asking questions because Dawn seemed very reliable and good with dogs. Pepe is also a great company and a delight to be around. Also grateful to Pepe that he put up with our overly enthusiastic Spico who is indeed used to having all the attention, keeping his stuff his etc All in all, Dawn and Pepe are a great duo to take care of your dog while you are away!

I am a Venezuelan, 29 years old. I recently moved to a new apartment in The Hague, together with my boyfriend, Rupert (33 years old), and we are so excited because we are allowed pets at home for the first time since we moved from our home country! I grew up with dogs as part of my family and that's the kind of family I wish to have someday in the future. Given my current lifestyle (busy with my work, going frequently to the office), I'd like to wait a bit longer until I have enough time to dedicate to them. However, I miss spending time with dogs so much, that I've decided to open an account at petbnb, and give and receive love from dogs as much as possible for the time being. I learned how to take care of dogs when I was a little girl. Our family dog, Bicho, stayed with us until I was 12 years old. After that, I was the go-to person to babysit the two dogs of my grandma and thereafter, the puppy of my aunt (all of them schnauzers). And not so long ago, I volunteered at the 'Animal Rescue' organization of Madrid (I studied my bachelor over there), where I'd take care of rescued dogs, take them for walks, and incentivize people to adopt them. My boyfriend also has vast experience with dogs. He was lucky to raise a Weimaraner and have him as his companion for over 10 years, and he currently shares caring responsibilities of his sister's Poodle - they live in Hamburg and we babysit every now and then. When it comes to my availability, I am always available during weekends -24 hours a day. However, if the booking is done some days in advance, arranging having a dog during the week is also possible, as I have the flexibility of working from home, which adds some extra availability for weekdays too. I am looking forward to meeting your dogs and loving them forever.

Gewoon iemand die van honden houdt!

Hoi! Ik ben Anne en ik ben al mijn hele leven gek op honden, en honden zijn ook vaak gek op mij! Jammer genoeg mocht ik vroeger nooit een hond van mijn ouders, maar dit wil niet zeggen dat ik geen ervaring heb. Ik heb onwijs veel geleerd van mijn lieve buurvrouw en haar Mechelse herder, netjes leren wandelen, discipline, trucjes, en vooral kijken en luisteren naar de lichaamstaal van honden. Ook de oude boxer van mijn vriend heb ik veel tijd mee doorgebracht. Eigenlijk overal waar ik kom spendeer ik veel tijd met huisdieren. Zelf heb ik wel altijd hamsters en konijnen gehad, want ik vind het erg fijn om voor dieren te zorgen. Op het moment is het voor ons geen optie om een hond te nemen, vanwege mijn zoektocht naar mijn eerste vaste baan (net afgestudeerd) en mijn vriend is de hele week van huis. Vandaar dat ik graag flexibel mijn tijd wil vrij maken om voor andermans honden te zorgen. Wat u van mij kunt verwachten is dat ik liefdevol voor uw trouwe viervoeter zal zorgen. Dit doe ik natuurlijk op de manier die u zelf het liefst heeft! Het aantal wandelingen, hoe te spelen of dat u misschien met training bezig bent zal ik volgens uw manier doen. Alles wat volgens redelijkheid nodig is voor uw hond is bespreekbaar! Ik ben voornamelijk enkele dagen en weekenden beschikbaar, langere vakantieperioden gaat niet lukken. Ook ben ik niet vaste dagen beschikbaar, daarvoor moet u een andere oppas zoeken, ik ben beschikbaar voor de incidentele momenten dat u een oppas nodig heeft.

Een liefdevol 'tweede thuis'.

Ik behandel jou hond hoe ik zou willen dat een andere oppas mijn eigen hond zou behandelen. Dus geen zorgen, je hondje krijgt genoeg aandacht, speeluren en liefde. Ik stuur altijd foto’s/filmpjes op, zodat je kan zien hoe erg je hond het naar zijn zin heeft. Helaas pas ik wel alleen op kleine hondjes tot maximaal 5kg. Mijn teefje is zelf ook heel klein en ik vind het gevaarlijk om een grotere hond los bij haar te hebben, ook tijdens het spelen kan het helaas fout gaan. Hoop snel een keer kennis te maken!
