I've always owned a dog myself back in my home country (Costa Rica) but I've also helped my neighbor with his dogs (German shepherds) when the female was pregnant or to just watch them while they went away for holiday. Wij zijn zeer tevreden met hoe Tim onze Eliá uitgelaten heeft. Eliá is normaliter (Waarschijnlijk door traumatische ervaringen met mannen in het verleden) nogal terughoudend naar mannen toe. Echter bij Tim wilde ze knuffelen en als ik zijn naam maar noemde stond ze al klaar met een groet helicopter staart te zwiepen :slight_smile:. Ze vond het een feestje. Als we Tim in de toekomst nodig hebben, zullen we zeker contact met hem opnemen en we raden dan ook iedereen aan om hem te boeken. Hartelijk dank Tim.

Hi, I'm Carla! Animals have always had a very special place in my life. Being around them makes me genuinely happy, and becoming a pet sitter is a way for me to spend more time doing something that truly fulfils me. My inspiration One of the biggest reasons behind this step is Zara, my American Bulldog. She was sweet, gentle and incredibly sociable, although, like the great lady she was , she could also be a little temperamental and selective! Zara taught me so much about respecting an animal's individual personality, needs and boundaries. When she passed away in October 2025, she left a huge space in my life. Her loss also made me realise how much being around animals means to me. It gave me an even stronger desire to spend my time caring for, learning from and simply being close to other animals. In many ways, becoming a pet sitter is my way of following that feeling. Our family and home I live with my husband and my teenage son, who both love animals just as much as I do and have been incredibly supportive of me taking this step. We also share our home with Bully, an American bully size pocket, a very special member of our family. I believe it's important to be completely transparent: we have a dog living in our home. For this reason, every dog staying with us will be carefully introduced and assessed beforehand to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I don't want to fill my home with as many dogs as possible. I prefer to offer a calm, loving family environment where every dog receives individual attention and care. A garden to play, relax and simply be a dog We have a large garden where dogs can enjoy the outdoors, play, explore and have some freedom. My garden is completely enclosed and secure, with mostly grass, giving dogs plenty of space to relax, explore and enjoy some outdoor time. I also enjoy providing mental enrichment activities, adapted to each dog's personality and needs. After all, keeping their minds active can be just as important or more then physical exercise! And of course, sometimes the best activity is doing absolutely nothing just simply relaxing on the grass and enjoying a little sun, when the Dutch weather allows it! Above all, I value the safety of every dog in my care. Our garden has been prepared with this in mind, so dogs can enjoy their time outside in a safe environment. My experience All my life i had contact with animals like dogs, cats, birds and even a very naughty parrot. Living with and caring for my own dogs has taught me a lot about routines, wellbeing and the importance of noticing even the smallest changes. I also have practical experience with dogs with allergies and sensitive skin, including skin-care routines and ongoing maintenance. Any specific care is always provided according to the owner's instructions and, where necessary, veterinary guidance. How I can help Loving home boarding for dogs, following a prior introduction Doggy day care Pet sitting and companionship Dog walks I enjoy taking dogs on calm walks through quite green surroundings, with canals and open spaces nearby. Every dog on my care will have 3 walks per day at least. There are also designated areas where dogs can safety enjoy some off- leash time. For safety reasons, i prefer to keep dogs on a leash during walks. The length of each walk depends on the will, energy and how much dog is having fun but in general, each walk lasts around 30 minutes, giving the dog a calm, relaxed moment. Home visits Feeding according to your pet's routine. Medication administration when clearly instructed. Can be daily skin care routine, pills or another type of medication. Playtime and mental enrichment Basic hygiene care. For over night stays, I have comfortable beds and crates available if necessary, depending on each dog's needs and what they are used to. Regular photo and video updates, ALWAYS For cats: Unfortunately, I can't host cats in my home because we have Bully, but I would be very happy to care for them in the comfort and familiarity of their own home. What matters most to me I know how difficult it can be to leave our pets in someone else's care. They are not "just animals", they are family. That's why I like to get to know every pet before caring for them. I want to understand their personality, routine, likes, dislikes and individual needs. My goal is simple: to make your pet feel safe, loved, respected and happy while you're away and to give you peace of mind knowing they are being cared for with genuine attention and affection. Wij zijn Nikki en Justus. Allebei zijn wij 28 en wonen en werken in Den Haag. Wij zijn ruim 8 jaar samen en hebben ons hele leven al huisdieren gehad. Toevallig zijn wij beide opgegroeid met Canadese Herders, dus we zijn wel wat gewend. Verder hebben wij ruime ervaring met het oppassen op een hoop verschillende honden door jaren lang Petbnb oppasser te zijn. Justus werkt vaak ‘s ochtends en ‘s middags en kan daarom de hond lekker vroeg uitlaten. Nikki werkt voornamelijk thuis en kan daarom makkelijk tussendoor de middag wandelingen doen. Wij hebben geen tuin, wel een balkon. Onze voordeur is op twee hoog en te bereiken door twee trappen. De honden die bij ons blijven moeten dus wel trap kunnen lopen, of het niet erg vinden om opgetild te worden. Graag passen wij op honden die voor een of meerdere dagen bij ons blijven. Zo past het huisdier perfect in ons leven en krijgt het alle aandacht dat het beestje verdient.

I hate to sound like a broken record here but I can't stress how amazing it is to be able to leave your beloved pet and not have a single worry about their care while you have to travel. Ranger stayed with Justus and Nikki again and we couldn't be more happy with the love and care he gets while with them.

Hondenliefend gezin zoekt logeerhond

Wij zijn een gezin van 4 (43,40,6,4) en gek op honden. De kinderen kennen alle honden uit de buurt - welke ze wel en niet mogen knuffelen- en zouden het liefst een eigen hond willen. Maar dat vinden wij nog een beetje veel verantwoordelijkheid met kleine kinderen. Dus op deze manier willen we ze kennis laten maken met een viervoeter in huis! We zijn zelf opgegroeid met honden en hebben jaren lang honden gehad. De laatste hond was er eentje met het zogenoemde 'rugzakje'. Een geweldige hond die we met veel liefde en geduld hebben getraind. Hele mooie ervaring, maar voor nu zouden we heel blij worden van een makkelijke, lieve en zachtaardige kindervriend die houdt van knuffelen, stoeien en wandelen. Er werkt altijd iemand thuis, zodat we in de middag tijdens de lunch een goede wandeling kunnen maken. Omdat we jonge kinderen hebben is er logischerwijs ook altijd iemand in de avonden thuis. We wonen in een bovenwoning, dus we weten dat we sommige honden de trap op moeten tillen. Geen probleem. We hebben een ruime woonkamer en een ruim balkon. Er is een groot park aan het einde van de straat. We hopen op deze manier iemand uit de buurt blij te maken met een oppasgezin en voor ons een eerste sprong in het hernieuwde huisdier leven!

Gewoon iemand die van honden houdt!

Hoi! Ik ben Anne en ik ben al mijn hele leven gek op honden, en honden zijn ook vaak gek op mij! Jammer genoeg mocht ik vroeger nooit een hond van mijn ouders, maar dit wil niet zeggen dat ik geen ervaring heb. Ik heb onwijs veel geleerd van mijn lieve buurvrouw en haar Mechelse herder, netjes leren wandelen, discipline, trucjes, en vooral kijken en luisteren naar de lichaamstaal van honden. Ook de oude boxer van mijn vriend heb ik veel tijd mee doorgebracht. Eigenlijk overal waar ik kom spendeer ik veel tijd met huisdieren. Zelf heb ik wel altijd hamsters en konijnen gehad, want ik vind het erg fijn om voor dieren te zorgen. Op het moment is het voor ons geen optie om een hond te nemen, vanwege mijn zoektocht naar mijn eerste vaste baan (net afgestudeerd) en mijn vriend is de hele week van huis. Vandaar dat ik graag flexibel mijn tijd wil vrij maken om voor andermans honden te zorgen. Wat u van mij kunt verwachten is dat ik liefdevol voor uw trouwe viervoeter zal zorgen. Dit doe ik natuurlijk op de manier die u zelf het liefst heeft! Het aantal wandelingen, hoe te spelen of dat u misschien met training bezig bent zal ik volgens uw manier doen. Alles wat volgens redelijkheid nodig is voor uw hond is bespreekbaar! Ik ben voornamelijk enkele dagen en weekenden beschikbaar, langere vakantieperioden gaat niet lukken. Ook ben ik niet vaste dagen beschikbaar, daarvoor moet u een andere oppas zoeken, ik ben beschikbaar voor de incidentele momenten dat u een oppas nodig heeft.
