Hi, I'm Carla! Animals have always had a very special place in my life. Being around them makes me genuinely happy, and becoming a pet sitter is a way for me to spend more time doing something that truly fulfils me. My inspiration One of the biggest reasons behind this step is Zara, my American Bulldog. She was sweet, gentle and incredibly sociable, although, like the great lady she was , she could also be a little temperamental and selective! Zara taught me so much about respecting an animal's individual personality, needs and boundaries. When she passed away in October 2025, she left a huge space in my life. Her loss also made me realise how much being around animals means to me. It gave me an even stronger desire to spend my time caring for, learning from and simply being close to other animals. In many ways, becoming a pet sitter is my way of following that feeling. Our family and home I live with my husband and my teenage son, who both love animals just as much as I do and have been incredibly supportive of me taking this step. We also share our home with Bully, an American bully size pocket, a very special member of our family. I believe it's important to be completely transparent: we have a dog living in our home. For this reason, every dog staying with us will be carefully introduced and assessed beforehand to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I don't want to fill my home with as many dogs as possible. I prefer to offer a calm, loving family environment where every dog receives individual attention and care. A garden to play, relax and simply be a dog We have a large garden where dogs can enjoy the outdoors, play, explore and have some freedom. My garden is completely enclosed and secure, with mostly grass, giving dogs plenty of space to relax, explore and enjoy some outdoor time. I also enjoy providing mental enrichment activities, adapted to each dog's personality and needs. After all, keeping their minds active can be just as important or more then physical exercise! And of course, sometimes the best activity is doing absolutely nothing just simply relaxing on the grass and enjoying a little sun, when the Dutch weather allows it! Above all, I value the safety of every dog in my care. Our garden has been prepared with this in mind, so dogs can enjoy their time outside in a safe environment. My experience All my life i had contact with animals like dogs, cats, birds and even a very naughty parrot. Living with and caring for my own dogs has taught me a lot about routines, wellbeing and the importance of noticing even the smallest changes. I also have practical experience with dogs with allergies and sensitive skin, including skin-care routines and ongoing maintenance. Any specific care is always provided according to the owner's instructions and, where necessary, veterinary guidance. How I can help Loving home boarding for dogs, following a prior introduction Doggy day care Pet sitting and companionship Dog walks I enjoy taking dogs on calm walks through quite green surroundings, with canals and open spaces nearby. Every dog on my care will have 3 walks per day at least. There are also designated areas where dogs can safety enjoy some off- leash time. For safety reasons, i prefer to keep dogs on a leash during walks. The length of each walk depends on the will, energy and how much dog is having fun but in general, each walk lasts around 30 minutes, giving the dog a calm, relaxed moment. Home visits Feeding according to your pet's routine. Medication administration when clearly instructed. Can be daily skin care routine, pills or another type of medication. Playtime and mental enrichment Basic hygiene care. For over night stays, I have comfortable beds and crates available if necessary, depending on each dog's needs and what they are used to. Regular photo and video updates, ALWAYS For cats: Unfortunately, I can't host cats in my home because we have Bully, but I would be very happy to care for them in the comfort and familiarity of their own home. What matters most to me I know how difficult it can be to leave our pets in someone else's care. They are not "just animals", they are family. That's why I like to get to know every pet before caring for them. I want to understand their personality, routine, likes, dislikes and individual needs. My goal is simple: to make your pet feel safe, loved, respected and happy while you're away and to give you peace of mind knowing they are being cared for with genuine attention and affection. new dog/cat sitting home in the heart of Rotterdam! Necause I tend to travel quite often back to Brazil (where I am from) it’s hard for me to have a pet on my own. But I love cats/dogs and found I. Actieve hondenoppas met levenslange ervaring.

Ik heb een ontzettende liefde voor honden. Vanaf 1 jaar ben ik mijn hele jeugd lang opgegroeid met 3 honden in huis. 6 jaar geleden besloot ik mijn eerste eigen hond te adopteren. Een mishandelde ex-fokhond American Bully uit het asiel. Ze was 4 jaar, had wat baggage en is uiteindelijk met 10 jaar overleden. Het waren de 6 beste jaren met haar die we ons ook maar konden bedenken. We missen haar nog elke dag. Voor het eerst ben ik nu in huis zonder hond, dus ik zou het geweldig vinden om elke andere hond te verwennen. Inmiddels heb ik een partner en 2 dochters van 4 en 1 jaar. We hebben hier regelmatig oppashonden over de vloer. Van pitbull terriër tot chihuahua mix. Alles kan. Mijn enige regel is dat de honden gewend moeten zijn aan kinderen. Mijn dochters zijn natuurlijk opgegroeid met onze eerste hond, maar ze weten ook dat ze de ruimte van een hond moeten respecteren. Daarentegen vinden ze spelen en gek doen met een speelse hond óók geweldig. Ik heb de meeste ervaring met grote honden/ waakhonden, maar ben inmiddels ook gewend geraakt aan de mini-teckel en boomer mix van mijn moeder. Ik werk niet op locatie, dus ik ben voornamelijk met de meiden thuis. Aan aandacht zal geen hond dus tekort komen. Daarbij is de bank groot genoeg! :) Ik ben sterk (en zwaar) genoeg om grote honden te houden, ook als ze reageren op andere honden of katten buiten. Mijn partner ook. Ook wandelen is geen probleem; ik pas me aan naar behoefte. Door het omgaan en trainen van waakhonden en het hebben van reactieve honden weet ik in ieder geval de leiding te nemen en ben ik ontzettend rustig in elke situatie. Ik zou het ontzettend leuk vinden om jouw beste maatje te leren kennen!

Hallo allemaal! Mijn naam is Daphne en ik zou me graag willen aanbieden als huisdieroppas. Ik woon samen met mijn man in Rotterdam oude noorden en ben vaak buiten te vinden, dus wandelen en spelen met huisdieren is iets wat ik heel graag doe. Al vanaf pup pas ik regelmatig op de labrador van mijn zus en ik wandel ook vaak met de labrador van vrienden. Daarnaast hebben mijn tantes golden retrievers, een Berner sennenhond en een newfoundlander, dus ik heb ervaring met verschillende rassen en hun specifieke behoeften. Ik hou ook heel erg van kleine hondjes. Met kleine hondjes ben ik opgegroeid (king Charles spaniëls, keeshondjes) en heb ik ruime ervaring, en ik merk tijdens deze PerBnB carrière dat ik kleine hondjes heel gezellig vind om op te passen. Ik hou van actief spelen en wandelen, maar ik vind het ook heerlijk om lekker te ontspannen en knuffelen met huisdieren. Veel van mijn vriendinnen hebben katten waar ik ook graag mee speel en knuffel (uiteraard alleen als de kat daar ook zin in heeft). Ik vind het geweldig om tijd door te brengen met huisdieren en ik zou graag de zorg op mij willen nemen wanneer hun baasjes niet beschikbaar zijn. Daphne was fantastisch! Wij waren met spoed opzoek naar een oppas in Rotterdam. Op korte termijn hebben wij een kennismaking ingepland en vond de oppasdag plaats. Er is lekker gewandeld en geknuffeld met Maui. Mocht je opzoek zijn naar een betrouwbare en lieve oppas, dan is Daphne zeker aan te raden. Plan graag weer een nieuwe datum in als het weer nodig is.
