Myself and my partner absolutely love dogs, however we are not at the stage to have our own just yet. In Ireland, my family dog lived to the amazing age of 16, and was a huge part of our family - he was my best friend. Ik heb ervaring met verschillende rassen.

Ik ben super gek op honden en katten. Helaas is in februari 2025 mijn lieve hond op 17 jarige leeftijd overleden. Ik ben er nog niet aan toe om een nieuwe hond te nemen en daarom zou ik het geweldig vinden om op de lieve honden van andere op te passen! Vanaf klein meisje hadden wij altijd honden thuis. Twee Sint Bernard honden en één Berner Sennenhond. De liefde voor dieren heeft dus altijd al centraal gestaan in mijn leven. Met veel liefde en aandacht zou ik graag mooie wandelingen maken met u hond en nu de vakantieperiode aanbreekt, kan logeren eventueel ook!

Dogs are my favourite people

I grew up in a house with 3 dogs, knowing that the dog children came before the human children, so I always treat the dogs I look after much the same way. They get a little spoiled, but I also make sure that they know the boundaries and to stick to any specific training or routines their owners normally have. I commonly look after quite a needy dog, so am also used to having a dog around as my shadow if you have a pooch who has some separation anxiety issues. I think its important to let the dog get to know you first, and make sure they feel comfortable so if that means a couple of home visits before they come to stay that is fine for me. There is a small dog park right by my house, and I live near a number of parks so there is always lots of opportunity for the dogs to run around and play, or be walked in grassy areas. At the moment I have quite flexible availability, and am always open to discussing the options to work out what is best for you and your doggo. I don't have a specific preference for the type of dogs I take care of, I love them all.

Liefdevolle, ervaren én flexibele oppassers

[ENGLISH BELOW] Hi! Wij zijn Braden (27) en Ashley (28). Wij wonen sinds 2023 samen in Amsterdam, nadat Braden (Brits/Zuid-Afrikaans) is verhuisd naar Nederland. Wij hebben beide altijd verschillende soorten honden gehad en missen dit enorm nu wij zelf samen (nog) geen hond hebben. Daarom vinden we het superfijn om via deze manier anderen uit de brand te kunnen helpen én zelf omringd te blijven met viervoeters. Wij wonen 5 minuutjes van zowel Rembrandtpark als Erasmuspark (hier heb je zelfs een plek speciaal voor honden!) vandaan wat een ideale omgeving is om erop uit te gaan. Ook werken we allebei grotendeels thuis en zijn we ontzettend flexibel, waardoor we veel aandacht hebben voor oppashonden of makkelijk langs kunnen komen voor een wandeling. We hebben verder geen voorkeur voor een bepaalde dag of hoeveelheid dagen, mits we genoeg tijd hebben om het in te plannen. Ashley heeft een aantal jaar geleden met haar eigen Shi-Tzu en Chihuahua een nestje gehad, en dus ervaring met zowel het opvoeden van (zeer) jonge puppies als omgang met senioren. Natuurlijk is iedereen hond anders, maar we zijn er erg van bewust waar verschillende rassen en leeftijden aan toe zijn (en waar niet!). Last but not least, staan we er allebei voor open om natuurlijk even (digitaal of thuis) kennis te maken. We snappen dat het best spannend kan zijn. We have been living together in Amsterdam since 2023, after Braden (British/South African) moved to the Netherlands. We've both always had different types of dogs in our lives and miss it greatly now that we don't (yet) have one of our own. That's why we're really happy to be able to help others by offering dog-sitting services, while surrounding ourselves by dogs. We live just 5 minutes away from both Rembrandtpark and Erasmuspark (which even has a special area for dogs!), making it the perfect environment for outings. We both work mostly from home and are very flexible, meaning we can give a lot of attention to any dogs we’re looking after or easily drop by for a walk. We don’t have a preference for specific days or number of days, as long as we have enough time to plan accordingly. A few years ago, Ashley raised a litter with her own Shih Tzu and Chihuahua, so she has experience with both raising very young puppies and caring for senior dogs. Of course, every dog is different, but we are very aware of the unique needs of different breeds and ages. Gezocht: viervoeter die nieuwe vrienden wil maken!

Mijn vriend en ik zijn beide opgegroeid met een hond en dat vonden we geweldig! Daarom passen wij nu ook graag op de hond van onze ouders. Wij gaan dan wandelen in parken of naar het strand. Onze ouders wonen echter ver weg en wij willen erg graag frequenter oppassen. Een eigen hond kopen komt nog nét te vroeg. De voorkeur gaat uit naar honden die lief zijn, geaaid willen worden, een blok om willen, willen spelen of een combinatie daarvan. De grote van de hond maakt voor ons niet uit. Wij willen met name oppassen in het weekend zodat we allebei tijd hebben of anders tijd kunnen maken!

Kinderen in vachtjes heaven

Ik heb zelf een hond van bijna 1 jaar. Hij is gek op spelen en houdt er van om op avontuur te gaan in het bos, het park en het strand. Hij is heel sociaal, maar wel druk, dus als je hond zelf niet houdt van drukke honden, dan is mijn huis wellicht geen fijne plek! Ik ben zelf op woensdagen vrij, dan wandel ik extra veel. Ik kan doorgaans veel thuiswerken dus ben flexibel met dagopvang. Ik ga 1 a 2 keer per dag naar het park voor een uitgebreide wandeling en neem balletjes mee om te spelen. Daarnaast maak ik vaak ook nog een ommetje hier in de buurt. Liever geen teefjes die niet gesteriliseerd zijn!

Het was een groot feest voor Tam! Super vriendelijk en flexibel.

wij zijn grote dierenliefhebber en hebben 11 jaar met onze hond Jackson geleefd. Hierdoor heb ik veel kennis van gedrag, training en veilige omgang met verschillende rassen. Ik (Luna) heb veel ervaring met verschillende rassen honden, en voel ze goed aan! Wij zijn rustig, geduldig, liefdevol en duidelijk, en we zorgen ervoor dat ieder dier zich veilig en op zijn gemak voelt. Wij lopen bijna elke dag in het park en jou lieve viervoeter is altijd welkom :) We hebben beiden ook al 14 jaar ervaring met katten, dus die zijn ook meer dan welkom!

Hi, my name is Jana :) I am a 28-year-old woman living in de Baarsjes in Amsterdam West. I originally come from the Czech Republic from a small town called Zlin. I love taking care of dogs as well as cats and overall being around animals ever since I was a small child. As for your dog pets, I enjoy going for long walks and teaching them some simple tricks, such as to sit or to lay down.
