I’ve always really loved animals and feel very comfortable around them. I used to have a cat of my own, whom I loved very much and still miss a lot, so I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can actually trust and feel relaxed about. I take routines and instructions seriously, whether it’s feeding, walks, medication or simply knowing the little things that make your pet feel comfortable. Als ervaren hondenbezitter heb ik jarenlang met veel plezier een Oud-Duitse Herder en een Berner Sennen gehad. If on the other hand, it's a more of a grown up doggie that needs some peace and quiet we will just watch some movies together and enjoy chill walks, at our own pace. I will be glad to pet and hug the cuddling-type dogs, but I also respect the reserved individualists ;) I am quite flexible with time and length of a visit/walks. Communication is key, let me know what you need and I'm sure we can arrange something! And I can give you as many updates throughout the day as you wish.

Hier vind u de beste hondenoppas van Amsterdam Oost :) Met een overschot aan liefde en een eindeloos geduld zorg ik voor uw hond. Echter een voorwaarde: hij/zij moet vriendjes worden met mijn kat Morgan. Ik ben veel thuis en heb daarom heel veel tijd om met uw hond te wandelen en knuffelen. Het Flevopark is bij mij om de hoek, daar zullen we veel te vinden zijn. Als het weer meezit kunnen we met de auto naar het bos of het strand. Ik heb veel ervaring met honden, ben opgegroeid met een Engelse Cocker Spaniel en heb na een scheiding co-ouderschap met onze hond Lilly, een kruising tussen een whippet en een greyhound. (Zij is op het moment in het buitenland) Ik heb veel ervaring met het zachte karakter van een whippet, maar het ras maakt me niet uit. Zolang ze maar lief zijn. Omdat ik het erg mis om een hond in huis te hebben heb ik besloten me op te geven als oppas. Uw hond zal met veel liefde verwelkomd worden.

Fantastische zorg voor onze 2 whippets tijdens onze vakantie. We werden op de hoogte gehouden en kregen erg leuke foto's. Bij ons volgende tripje gaan ze zeker weer bij Sofie logeren.😊

During my upbringing, I always had dogs around me. The first dog was named Murphy who was an Irish Glen of Imaal Terrier. My parents current dog is a Cobberdog named Charlie. She got 8 puppies last year, which was an amazing experience! Since living on my own, I've missed having a happy four-legged friend by my side. My appartment is situated in a calm area at NDSM. There are two big parks rather closeby, so there is lots of possibilities to go on nice walks. The living area of the appartment is big, comfortable and safe for your dog to stay. Ik hou zo veel van honden & katten (en andere dieren)!!! Ik heb zelf nooit een eigen hond gehad, o.a. omdat ik katten had en veel reisde. Maar ik heb altijd geholpen met het zorgen voor (en soms ook het opvoeden van) honden van vrienden en buren waaronder een Cane corso, 2 Staffies en een Duitse herder. Ik heb tijdens de covid/lockdown periode ook een aantal maanden een rescue (pitbull) opgevangen die met spoed een opvang plek nodig had, omdat ik toen nog voltijd vanuit huis werkte en hier de tijd voor had. Dit heb ik ook een aantal weken gedaan voor een ander klein hondje en 2 katten waarvan de eigenaar overleden was. Ik vond het super fijn dat ik ze kon helpen en extra aandacht aan ze kon geven in die periode. Ik werk nu 3 dagen op kantoor en mijn partner 5 dagen dus helaas zit een hond voor onszelf er op dit moment niet in. Maar ik zou het heel leuk vinden om af en toe gezellig te wandelen en/of op te passen en hiermee iemand in nood te helpen.
