I enjoy taking care of dogs. For my 8th birthday my parents gave me the best present of my life—a puppy. Funnily enough, the puppy's name was Gift. He quickly became a family member, and I was his "mom”,taking care of him. We shared both good and challenging times, from our evening walks in the park that were my daily meditation, to the tough moments when he was unwell, and so much more. In my family we even nicknamed the park, where we walked him every day, after him—Gift's Park. When I was 18, I moved to the Netherlands and started working as a dog sitter. Every dog is different and has its own personality, and I truly enjoy this as a side job. I’ve been doing this for 6 years now. I have experience with other pets as well - I took care of guinea pigs and a parrot. Ik ben mijn hele leven al gek op honden en sinds vijf jaar is mijn labradoodle Dolly een groot onderdeel van mijn leven. Ze is ontzettend sociaal en vindt het altijd gezellig om andere honden om zich heen te hebben. Omdat ik veel thuis ben, lijkt het me ontzettend leuk om samen met Dolly op andere honden te passen. We wonen in een gezellig huisje met een tuintje in het centrum van Monnickendam, vlak bij het Hemmeland. Een goeie plek om lekker naar buiten te gaan en lange wandelingen te maken. Dolly en ik lopen minimaal drie keer per dag een groot rondje. Buiten is ze lekker speels en enthousiast, terwijl ze binnenshuis juist rustig en relaxed is. Ze kan goed met andere honden overweg en vindt het vooral leuk om samen te spelen en op pad te gaan. Ik vind het belangrijk dat een hond zich bij ons net zo comfortabel voelt als thuis. Daarom neem ik graag de tijd om hem of haar aandacht te geven, lekker te wandelen en natuurlijk ook gewoon gezellig samen te zijn.

[ENGLISH BELOW] Hi! Wij zijn Braden (27) en Ashley (28). Wij wonen sinds 2023 samen in Amsterdam, nadat Braden (Brits/Zuid-Afrikaans) is verhuisd naar Nederland. Wij hebben beide altijd verschillende soorten honden gehad en missen dit enorm nu wij zelf samen (nog) geen hond hebben. Daarom vinden we het superfijn om via deze manier anderen uit de brand te kunnen helpen én zelf omringd te blijven met viervoeters. Wij wonen 5 minuutjes van zowel Rembrandtpark als Erasmuspark (hier heb je zelfs een plek speciaal voor honden!) vandaan wat een ideale omgeving is om erop uit te gaan. Ook werken we allebei grotendeels thuis en zijn we ontzettend flexibel, waardoor we veel aandacht hebben voor oppashonden of makkelijk langs kunnen komen voor een wandeling. We hebben verder geen voorkeur voor een bepaalde dag of hoeveelheid dagen, mits we genoeg tijd hebben om het in te plannen. Ashley heeft een aantal jaar geleden met haar eigen Shi-Tzu en Chihuahua een nestje gehad, en dus ervaring met zowel het opvoeden van (zeer) jonge puppies als omgang met senioren. Natuurlijk is iedereen hond anders, maar we zijn er erg van bewust waar verschillende rassen en leeftijden aan toe zijn (en waar niet!). Last but not least, staan we er allebei voor open om natuurlijk even (digitaal of thuis) kennis te maken. We snappen dat het best spannend kan zijn. Disney for puppies

We love dogs since we were little. We always had pets and were taught to not only give them love, but also take care of them, give attention and enjoy time shared. We make sure they get all the necessary attention, love, entertainment & care. We try to adapt to what they like. If it’s an active dog we don’t hesitate on take them to a park, play togheter, have a walk and dedicate the time they are used to so they feel comfortable. Plusha had a great time this summer staying with Maria & Pedro for 10 days. They have an adorable rescue of their own and therefore were well equipped to take care of Plusha. They maintained regular communication and I could see Plusha having a great vacation with them and enjoying the company of their dog. The neighbourhood is also great for dogs as there are lots of walking areas around . I would sudden then highly, and I am sure Plusha would love to visit them again.
