For the last two years, while living in Amsterdam, I had two regular addresses that asked me to look after their dogs during workdays, weekends away and holidays. About the apartment The house is a calm place, as there are no other pets or children. Luckily, the Scheveningse Bosjes (meaning lots of fun and plenty of other dogs!) are just around the corner. If the schedule allows and they feel comfortable enough, I also love going for a walk on the beach. Important: the apartment is on the first floor. The staircase is very doable (it's not steep), but it's good to know. Practicalities - I'm flexible with my availability. - The response rate on my profile might be low because it was inactive. When I was living in Amsterdam, I found two addresses that regularly asked me to dog-sit for them. I've moved back to The Hague, and now that I'm all settled in, I'm looking forward to finding a new pet-sitting address. I LOVE animals

This is Mingchu. I’m working and living in the centre of Delft as an expat from China. I’d love to take care of your pet dog for a short period of time if possible. I had pets when I was a kid and I’ve always loved animals in my life. I wouldn’t be the most professional pet sitter but I’d love to try. I live on a first floor 78 m2 apartment near Delft station and I have time in the early morning, evening or during the day to take care and work with the dog if working from home.

Minchu took the time to meet with my dog and me in advance of the stay and listen to my explanations of my dog's needs. I didn't know there was going to be another dog present when we came for the meet and greet. That went okay but it would have been good to know in advance. My dog stayed one night (24 hours) and everything seemed to go fine! Mingchu followed my instructions for food and medicine and sent me photos of Rhuby in the apartment. I would book with Mingchu again. Thanks!

Hoi katteneigenaren, Aangenaam kennis te maken! Ik ben Anita en ik ben gek op katten en zou graag 24/7 omringd zijn door de diertjes. Verder ben ik rustig en netjes, rook ik niet en houd ik van een schone omgeving. Wij hebben sinds eind April 2021 ook een schattig katje van inmiddels 5 jaartjes oud en sinds Augustus 2023 ook 1 van haar leuke kittens erbij. Mijn ouders hebben nu inmiddels al 16 jaar een erg tevreden kat waarvoor ik de meeste zorg op mij nam toen ik daar nog woonde en waarop ik iedere vakantie pas. Ook heb ik altijd voor de katten van verscheidene buren gezorgd die op vakantie waren, soms om alleen te voeren en de kattenbak te verschonen, soms ook om de katten 's avonds gezelschap te houden. Tevwbs heb ik ervaring met medicatie toedienen, maar niet met injecties. (Wel ervaring met medicatie in de mond spuiten en pillen). Inmiddels ben ik reeds sinds 2021 een "officiële" kattenoppas 😃 Ik hoop uw katjes graag te ontmoeten!

More importantly for this profile, I’m someone who has basically spent my whole life surrounded by animals 🐾 I grew up in Inner Mongolia in a nomadic family, where animals have always been a huge part of everyday life. I grew up helping my family take care of sheep, goats, horses, dogs and cats, so I sometimes joke that I’m a bit of a sheep, dog and cat whisperer 🐑🐶🐱 Being around so many different animals from a young age taught me that they all have their own personalities, boundaries and ways of communicating. Back home, I have a four-year-old Mongolian Bankhar named Nyangar. His Mongolian name means “bright,” because he really did bring so much brightness into our family ✨ He’s a very big, fluffy dog with an even bigger personality, so I’m very comfortable around large dogs and definitely not intimidated by their size or strength. More recently, my family also adopted a beautiful long-haired silver shaded cat who had been abandoned by his previous owner. Having his in our family has given me even more experience with cats and made me appreciate just how different their personalities can be 🤍 When I look after an animal, my priority is always making sure they feel safe, relaxed and comfortable with me. I genuinely enjoy getting to know their little habits and personalities, whether that means going for walks, playing together, giving them attention, or simply giving them space when that’s what they prefer. Since moving to the Netherlands, I really miss having animals around me, so I’d love to make some more furry friends here and hopefully look after them regularly 🥹 I’ve even somehow become friends with quite a few neighborhood cats around my home — Pablo, Becky, Moses and a few others already know me 😂 When I was still living back home, I regularly looked after Molly, a lovely dog, and Mimi, a little cat, whenever their owners were away. Over time, I got to know them really well, including their different routines, little habits and personalities 🐶🐱Their family later moved to Norway, and this summer I actually travelled there specifically to look after Molly and Mimi again while their owners were away. I stayed with them for a month, keeping them company and making sure they were happy and well cared for. It was honestly such a lovely experience 🥹🤍 For me, pet sitting isn’t just about keeping an animal company while their human is away. I honestly think we need their company just as much as they need ours 🤍So if you’re looking for someone who will genuinely enjoy spending time with your pet and care for them as if they were my own, I’d be very happy to help.
