I've always had a special connection with dogs. Growing up, we had a lot of stray dogs and mix breeds in our neighbourhood. I moved to NL from the UK in 2013. I am pretty introverted, and therefore quiet and calm. I work as an in-house accountant for a large company, mostly from home. I grew up with cats. I've had cats my entire life. I love cats. By profession, I'm an accountant but I much prefer the company of felines. I have my own little tuxedo kitty (or rather, she has me!) and I love to cuddle and play with her. I just adore meeting new cats, and always stop to say hello if I see one on the street! I generally work from home so it's possible to have some flexibility. My preference is to visit your cat(s) between 8am and 10am, and/or between 4pm and 6pm. This can always be discussed before a booking though! Overnights are possible, but not for extended periods. I have my own cat (Leia), and she'd miss me if I were away for long. If I spend the night with your cats, I will go back during the day to spend time with mine. If you need care for more than a couple days, I prefer to alternate between an overnight stay, and one or two visits during the day. That way, Leia won't be alone overnight for extended periods of time.

We can do walks, hikes, swimming, even to a play day at the park, I am sure they will have an unforgettable time. We have been looking after pets for 7 years now, and in that time we’ve looked after dogs and cats with all kinds of personalities and quirks, so we are able to meet any challenge :) You can be sure that any instructions and specific requirements your loved one needs will be done as asked ! For us, it’s their stay, their way! We allow them on the bed and couch, unless you prefer them not to. We always keep the water bowl full and pets happy and healthy. Our preference is always to look after your pet at your home, for a couple of reasons. Most importantly, your pet doesn’t have to suffer any stress due to a change in environment, they can keep doing what they do in the comfort of their own home :) secondly, if we housesit we can also make sure that alls well with the house itself :) we can sometimes arrange to keep your pet at our apartment, but this is not ideal for them in our opinion. We are both flexible with our schedules, so hopefully we should be able to help you out ! At the moment, Karina has a day job while Keir works in the evenings, so there’s always someone around for your pets needs :) We look forward to meeting you and getting to know your special friends :)

Karina stayed in our house to look after our dog, McGregor, and cat, Greyton, over a period of five days. She was very accommodating of our needs and extremely kind and attentive to our pets, and stayed in communication with us every day. We came back to find the house was spotless and the animals very happy indeed! I recommend Karina whole-heartedly and without any reservation!

Sinds dat ik klein ben hou ik van dieren. Alle soorten dieren, al zijn het vissen, papegaaien, konijnen, ratjes en noem maar op. Ik heb veel ervaring met dieren, sinds dat ik drie ben zijn er altijd dieren in mijn huis geweest. Ik heb ervaring met, konijnen, kittens en katten, honden, parkietjes, vissen, ratjes en hamsters. Dieren zijn mijn passie, ik heb op het moment 1 hond en 2 katten. Helaas is mijn hond wel bij mijn moeder gebleven omdat ze vond dat ik de twee katten al mocht meenemen. Het zijn twee gesteriliseerde vrouwtjes die goed omkunnen gaan met andere dieren. Ik heb voor een maand voor de katten voor een vriendin opgepast, ze woonde bij mij met mijn katten. Ik heb heel veel liefde voor dieren, ze maken mij onwijs blij en rustig. Ik ben van plan om later een dierenasiel te openen omdat ik zo een fan ben van dieren. Ik voel de dieren aan, wat ze nodig zouden hebben en kijk goed naar hun lichaamstaal. Ik hou rekening met wat ze fijn vinden en wat niet. Ik zou ook weten hoe ik kleine puppy's of kittens kan verzorgen, ik heb namelijk voor een maand 2 kittens opgevoed waarvan de moeder is helaas overleden. Verder heb ik meerdere nestjes verzorgd van katten. Ik heb ook nog mijn vriend thuis, hij is ook een dierenliefhebber, zorgt goed voor elk dier die ik mee naar huis heb genomen. :)

I'm Italian but have lived 20+ years in The Netherlands and 7 in Poland. I work twice a week Tuesday and Thursday Amsterdam and the rest at home. I love animals, what would life be without them. I have always had cats growing up, our first was when I was 1.5 years old, a beautiful Maine coon named CJ. I have had about 5 cats and a dog, and I feel like a lot of people don’t understand how amazing they are, how they show you how much they love you in the little things that they do. I currently live next to laan van noi with Milo (a European tuxedo short hair cat that loves food, he's the first one in my photos). At my parents place we have 2 cat brothers, pepito and super Mario, they are 10 years old, and Frida a Maltese, she is now 7 and loves being at the center of attention. I've taken care of both our own and friends pets, both cats and dogs. I have a pretty laid back schedule for work and can plan in walks at any time of the day really, mornings preferably not before 8am, can do afternoon and evenings. The walks are usually 30-45 minutes long, also depending on what the dog requires, some play time, cuddles. I am usually not free on Mondays as I'm in the office, but I can spend time with your pet in the evenings. I'd love to go on more walks during the day and hence I’d love to spend some time with your pet. I currently can't have any dogs, but would love to in the future. I will take care of your pet as if it were my own, I will send you pictures of them during my daily visits and or walks. Im happy to come over to feed and play with your pet, water any plants, and check the post, while making sure to respect the boundary of your pet, everyone has their own personality. The visits usually last about an hour. I'm happy to discuss any requests, and I can possibly stay at your place with your pet for the night, preferably not longer than 3-4 nights.
