I love animals and enjoy spending time with them. I had a cat in my home country who is now 8 years old. I took care of him since he has been to ıue house. I also have some experience with dog petting because i looked over my friends' pets when they went on holidays. I like going on walks and playing with animals. Although i don't have experience in petsitting, I have had a few of dogs and cats throughout my childhood. We had a boerboel, Rhodesian ridgeback, Jackrussel, Pomeranian and one cat, I had a tendency surprise my parents with animals they didnt know would live with us. Animals are part of my personality at this point, I am often heard saying ''auuuuuw" when i see a dog or cat on the sidewalk. At the moment I have plenty of free time(the whole day) to be available to your furry friend. I enjoy hiking but for the elderly I wouldn't mind sitting on the couch with them.

Ik heb zelf 2 katten en ben echt een dierenvriend. In uw eigen huis verzorg ik graag uw kat/katten. Liefst blijf ik niet slapen, maar mocht het echt nodig zijn kunnen we dit overleggen. Ook vind ik het niet erg om iets langer te moeten reizen. Ik woon zelf in Amsterdam de Pijp dus kan vanaf daar prima heen en weer reizen. In Amsterdam zelf doe ik alles op de fiets. Ik kan zowel ochtend, middagen en avonden aanwezig zijn en ook even met de kat spelen/knuffelen, maar als de kat dit niet doet is ook prima. Ik hoor graag van u!

Betrouwbare en gezellige dierenvriend

Ik ben een enthousiaste dierenliefhebber die het gezellig vindt omringd te zijn met dieren. Bovendien houd van de natuur, wandelen en bewegen en doe ik dit het liefst samen met een of meerdere hondjes. Katten vind ik ook mega gezellig en leuk om mee te knuffelen of spelen (als ze me goedkeuren ;)). Ik heb oppaservaring met verschillende katten: van oude katten tot piepkleine kittens en van binnen- tot buitenkatten. Zelf heb ik altijd katten gehad, nu nog eentje, een hele gezellige oude binnenkat die lekker z'n eigen gang gaat. Ook pas ik geregeld op de honden van vrienden of van mijn ouders. Het liefst pas ik op niet al te grote of agressieve honden. Bij katten vind ik eigenlijk elke kat leuk! Stuur me een berichtje als je een betrouwbare, gezellige en enthousiaste oppas wil!

I always exchange with friends to look after each other's dogs when we go on holidays. My last chow died at the age of 15 in March. I'm not ready for a new one but would love to be around with man's best friends again. I live in a pet-proof apartment with doggy door to the terrace facing south with green view. The building also has lift. The neiboughhood is very green, literally a dog park under my balcony. there are lake and grasslands nearby, perfect for walking dogs. The building also has lift. Last but not least, my partner and I have lived together since 2007, now both of us work from home and love dogs dearly, I guarantee we will have lot of time to play with your babies! ☺️😛 Ik had 4 honden in mijn 44 jarige leven. Duitse herder in mijn jeugd, en drie chows in de laatste 15 jaar. Ik ruil altijd met vrienden om op op elkaars honden te passen als we op vakantie gaan. Mijn laatste chow stierf op 15-jarige leeftijd in maart. Maart. Ik ben nog niet toe aan een nieuwe, maar... maar ik zou graag weer bij de beste vrienden. Ik woon in een huisdier-proof appartement met honden deur naar het terras op het zuiden met groen uitzicht. Het gebouw heeft ook een lift. De buurt is erg groen, letterlijk een hondenpark onder mijn balkon. Er zijn meer en graslanden in de buurt, perfect om te wandelen honden. Het gebouw heeft ook een lift. Last but not least, mijn partner en ik hebben wonen samen sinds 2007, nu werken we allebei werken vanuit huis en houden veel van honden, ik garanderen dat we veel tijd hebben om te spelen met uw baby's! ❤️

We had a great experience with Dillon and would definitely book with him again. He took excellent care of Hilbert, regularly sent us lovely videos from their walks, gave him the medication he needed, and even kept his health tracker charged. Everything went smoothly, and it was clear that Hilbert was well looked after throughout his stay. Highly recommended!

Iris looked after our two dogs, Maggie and Britian, while we were away on holiday, and she was absolutely wonderful. One of our dogs is unwell and required special care and close, watchful attention, and Iris handled this with incredible care, calmness, and responsibility. Both dogs clearly adored her — they were happy, relaxed, and very well cared for when we returned. She walked them twice a day, kept us updated with regular messages and photos, and it was incredibly reassuring to see how attentive and thoughtful she was throughout our time away. On top of that, we came home to a clean and well-looked-after house. Iris is caring, reliable, and genuinely kind, and we felt completely at ease knowing our dogs and home were in such good hands. I have a lovely cat who is almost 3 years old. I once fostered a cat for a friend for three weeks. They got along well during that time. They brought me a lot of happiness, and I used my camera to record those happy moments. My cat has a good temper. He currently gets along well with some cats. When the cat was fostered at my house, I put raw beef that my cat liked. I saw my cat touching noses with the cat before eating the beef, as if calling him to eat together. Then the cat came over and sniffed the beef and walked away. Maybe he didn’t like beef. But this scene surprised me. I usually play with my cat at night.

Hello there! After exploring different paths, I realized that my heart has always been with animals, so I decided to follow my childhood dream of working with them. I’m now a Clinical Animal Behavior student, and I couldn’t be more excited to turn something I love so much into my future career. I also volunteer at DOA, the largest animal shelter in the Netherlands, where I work with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds and personalities. I help with socialization, basic training, and supporting dogs with different behavioral needs. My sweetheart Milo crossed the rainbow bridge in June, and he’s the biggest reason I decided to follow this path. If it were up to us, we’d take them everywhere but sometimes that’s not possible. I grew up with all types of animals back in North Carolina, from dogs to lizards, you name it. I learned how to care for creatures, big to small, whether they were my own pets or not. While living in Amsterdam for 9 years I have taken on a few opportunities to pet sit and loved it. Now that I have two cats (one even had kittens last summer!) at home, I sadly can’t do boarding like I used to, but I’m happy to get outside for some fresh air with a walk or two, and pop by a home to check on the fur babies.
