Hi there,

I am looking for a reliable, calm and experienced dog sitter or walker for my dog Saffier in Amsterdam. This would be a short stay (up to two weeks) in my home from 27/7 to 10/08.

Saffier is a very sweet and affectionate dog at home, but she is sensitive and insecure outside. She can become overwhelmed by unexpected sounds, movement, or people/dogs coming too close. In those situations, she may react defensively out of fear. She is not an aggressive dog, but she does need calm, confident handling and someone who understands stress signals in dogs.

Because of this, I am looking for someone with experience with anxious or reactive dogs, who is patient, observant, and able to keep walks structured and calm. Predictability and a low-stimulation environment are very important for her.

We live directly next to a park, which makes it easy to take calm walks in green areas away from busy streets. Walks are usually relaxed, structured, and focused on keeping her comfortable rather than exposure or training.
