Ze was super geduldig met Banzo. Het is een heel verlegen hondje maar uiteindelijk heeft hij enorm blij met haar gespeeld. Ze hield me tussentijds op de hoogte met foto's en updates!

Halle is an amazing pet sitter! Even though we reached out to her last minute due to an emergency, she was incredibly flexible and accommodating. From our first meeting, it was clear she is highly experienced; she asked many professional questions that put our minds at ease.
She took wonderful care of Moomoo and provided detailed daily updates with photos and videos. We really appreciated her patience during the first few days when Moomoo was feeling a bit anxious—Halle knew exactly how to handle the situation and help her settle in.
Beyond being great with dogs, Halle is also very tidy and left our home spotless. It’s obvious Moomoo bonded with her and was sad to see her go. We are so happy to have found Halle and will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future!

Halle, took care of my three dogs many times. She is wonderful with animals and a loving and playful caregiver. I would highly recommend using her for your pets.

Halle took care of our cat Lychee for over one month. We knew he was in capable hands, from the moment we brought Lychee over to the day we picked him up. Halle also send over photos every once in a while. Would definitely ask Halle to pet sit Lychee again in the future.

When I lived in the Netherlands a year ago Halle was my go-to person for looking after my dog, Bruno, whenever I’ve needed a walker or sitter.
Halle’s genuine affection for animals is obvious from the moment you see her interact with them. She was patient and playful with Bruno, who can be a little shy at first, and she quickly won him over. She reliably followed his feeding and walking schedule and always sent me photo updates, which I greatly appreciated.
Most importantly, I always returned to a happy, healthy, and content dog. It’s clear Halle doesn't just perform tasks; she provides genuine companionship. Any pet would be lucky to be in her care.

Fully remote professional (so often home all day with your pet)
American expat (so it just means I am international or open-minded)
MY PETSITTING EXPERIENCES IN HOLLAND
A total of about 2 years of pet-sitting overseas
A mix of pet-sitting in my own home and traveling to pet-sit overnight in others'
Currently looking to travel to most of Holland and stay in people's homes and pet-sit only (including plant care, house maintenance, mail support)
Cats and dogs to kittens and puppies - all ages and personalities (even stubborn and dramatic pets)
Have experience with old dogs to young and energetic dogs (including leash draggers and anxious dogs)
Have experience in administering oral medication for a dog
To name a few examples, I've petsat for two dogs in Amsterdam WITH the owner still home; for a house of 3 cats for one month in den Hague; one month with an old German Shepherd in Rotterdam; three weeks with two cats in Rotterdam; 2 weeks with a big dog in Haarlem; 1 year with an anxious Maltese in Amsterdam (weekly)
WHY TRUST A STRANGER? (I know, sounds crazy, but apparently technology is making everyone trust more!)
I'm reliable; if I answer you agreeing, then I am dead serious and expect both parties to commit and show up, not waste time. If you're waiting to hear from a friend or relative, please don't contact me as a backup.
I'm highly flexible; my fully remote work online in marketing lets me adjust my schedule easily and move around, town to town across the Netherlands, discovering new cultures and pets and people, with my laptop and suitcase.
I'm highly communicative; my business occupation requires me to email or text politely, so I do this with pet owners naturally. I always have to be proactive about responses, so I know to share frequent pet updates or any issues with your house when you're away. I'm used to video calls, so we can talk however and whenever.
I'm friendly; I have joined neighbors living near the pet owner for coffee or chats, so I don't really disturb anyone if I am weeks at your home.
I can provide written references for cats or dogs.
