Hi, I’m Maite. I am a biologist from Spain that loves animals and is looking forward to take care of your pet. I am familiar with big breeds like samoyed, checkslovakian wolf dog and german shepherd. I also love kitties, as I had a small black cat when I was little. My apartment is very spacious and located in the heart of Amsterdam, in a residential neighbourhood so your pet will not be around tourists or with high traffic. My partner, back at his home town, has 2 big leon bergers so we are really familiar with dealing with big doggos as well. Pls ask me any questions that you may have :) Maite.

Ik wil graag op je hond passen

Ik houd van niet al te grote honden, die graag willen knuffelen! Ik houd ze het liefst aangelijnd buiten, omdat ik een Shiba Inu gewend ben die nog wel eens de hort op gaat. Ik ben verschillende soorten honden gewend en mijn voorkeur gaat uit naar rustigere honden, deels omdat ik in een niet al te groot appartement woon. Er is een binnentuin, maar daar kan de hond eigenlijk niet terecht, wel zijn er veel parken in de buurt voor een langere wandeling! Tijdens een werkdag kan ik drie keer wandelen met de hond. Het lijkt mij leuk om op je hond te passen en naar het park te gaan samen!

Jet was erg fijn, ondanks dat Rumi een beetje lastig was (hormonaal van slag). Maar jet was een topper!

From the pictures Ira sent us every day, Maggie clearly had a great time while we were away... lots of walks, cuddles on the couch and plenty of attention, she seemed happy and relaxed and our house was also in perfect order. Ira has a really calm and confident energy about her that puts you at ease straight away, and you can see why dogs feel so comfortable around her. We felt completely at ease leaving Maggie and our home with her. We’d happily have Ira sit for us again and would highly recommend her.

Ik ben Thaise vrouw die 20 jaar in Amsterdam woont. Zelf hebben wij een ontzettend lieve Zilveren Labrador van 11 jaar oud. Mijn man werkt en mijn dagelijkse bezigheid is wandelen en spelen met onze hond. In plaats van een hond erbij nemen, hebben wij besloten om te gaan oppassen op honden. Honden: Soort honden waar wij op willen passen: Goed gesocialiseerde honden maximaal gemiddeld qua grootte. Geen vechthonden ras (pitbull, etc.). Onze dagelijks ritueel voor onze eigen hond: 07:30u Ontbijt en 1ste rondje voor plassen en poepen 10:00u Grote ronde in park of bos van circa 1 uur. 12:00u Tussendoortje 14:00u Grote ronde in park of bos/strand van circa 1 uur. 17:00u Diner en rondje voor plasje 20:00u Laatste rondje voor plasje en evt poepje voor t slapen gaan. Wat doe ik tijdens uitjes en tussen de uitjes door: Verschillende (bal)spelletjes, trek- en of apporteerspelletjes, zwemmen als t weer het toelaat. Goed om te weten: De hondjes zijn nooit alleen en krijgen veel aandacht. U kan altijd bellen, videocallen of om een foto vragen. Bij oudere hondjes, zoals de onze, wordt uiteraard rustiger gedaan. Wij wonen in Amsterdam Zuid, nabij Surinameplein, Vondelpark, Rembrandtpark. Katten: Katten nemen wij niet in huis. Wel is het mogelijk om katten aan huis te bezoeken: 2x per dag vers water geven, poepbak schoonmaken, eten geven en minimaal 30min spelen. Ervaring: Wij hebben ons hele leven honden en/of katten thuis gehad, dus veel ervaring met onze 4 voeters. Het oppassen op de huisdieren van iemand anders is wel nieuw voor ons en zijn dan ook uiterst voorzichtig. Wij nemen dan ook in beginfase maximaal 1 oppashond aan. Met vreemde honden zal er altijd een lange lijn gebruikt worden bij het wandelen/uitlaten, daar we uiteraard niet willen dat deze over straat gaat rennen op zoek naar t baasje. we would love to walk your dog when you are away

We have years of dog-sitting experience. We also fostered a rescue dog ourselves. We will take care of your dogs as our own. Giving them the care, play and chill time they need. We both work hybrid, so most of the times there will be one of us at home. Due to circumstances we cannot own our dog ourselves. Therefore we would like to dog-sit instead. We would like to watch your dog when you can't. We prefer small/medium sized and easier dogs. ------ We hebben jarenlange ervaring met het oppassen op honden. We zijn zelf ook gastgezin geweest voor en opvanghondje. We zullen voor uw honden zorgen alsof het onze eigen honden zijn, door ze de zorg, speeltijd en rust te geven die ze nodig hebben. Aangezien we beiden deels thuiswerken, is er meestal iemand van ons thuis. Door omstandigheden kunnen we zelf op dit moment niet een eigen hond nemen. Daarom zouden we in plaats daarvan graag op uw hond willen passen. We passen graag op uw hond zorgen wanneer u dat niet kunt. Onze voorkeur gaat uit naar kleine tot middelgrote en wat makkelijkere honden.

goed met honden en dieren in het algemeen

Vanaf mijn geboorte tot aan mijn studeren hebben we altijd honden in huis gehad op de Veluwe. In mijn tijd op Aruba (10 jaar) heb ik in huishoudens gewoond waar ik mede voor meerdere (grote) honden heb gezorgd. (Bull Mastif, Deense Dogs, labrador, en verschillende geadopteerde straathonden). Het komt vaak voor dat honden heel blij zijn om mij te zien. Dat komt denk ik doordat ik een bepaalde rust uitstraal, respect voor ze heb en geen gekke dingen met ze doe. Mijn werkleven in Amsterdam is niet geschikt voor huisdieren maar ik kan wellicht wel zo nu en dan voor huisdieren van anderen zorgen.

Joost is een echte dierenvriend. Hij zorgt ervoor dat je hond geen aandacht te kort komt. Afspraken waren makkelijk te maken. Aanrader!

My family and I have a mixed breed puppy back in my home China, we have adopted him 3 years ago, back then he was a less than 5 month old pupuy. Ik ben een echte dierenvriend, maar vanwege een minder gestructureerd leven kan ik nu nog geen eigen hondje nemen.
