Ik kookte verse maaltijden, droeg hem de trap op, en gebruikte een hondenwagentje zodat hij nog steeds kon genieten van onze favoriete wandelingen in het Erasmuspark. Ruby was THE BEST SITTER to our very small puppy when we went away for 3 weeks. I honestly cannot say enough about how thoughtful and caring she was, always sending pictures and messages. Not only that, but she spoiled him in the best way possible with long walks and ice (it was during the summer heat). I cannot recommend Ruby enough. An incredible sitter, who's loving and oh so caring. Thank you Ruby. Machu misses you and can't wait for another visit.

[ENGLISH BELOW] Hi! Wij zijn Braden (27) en Ashley (28). Wij wonen sinds 2023 samen in Amsterdam, nadat Braden (Brits/Zuid-Afrikaans) is verhuisd naar Nederland. Wij hebben beide altijd verschillende soorten honden gehad en missen dit enorm nu wij zelf samen (nog) geen hond hebben. Daarom vinden we het superfijn om via deze manier anderen uit de brand te kunnen helpen én zelf omringd te blijven met viervoeters. Wij wonen 5 minuutjes van zowel Rembrandtpark als Erasmuspark (hier heb je zelfs een plek speciaal voor honden!) vandaan wat een ideale omgeving is om erop uit te gaan. Ook werken we allebei grotendeels thuis en zijn we ontzettend flexibel, waardoor we veel aandacht hebben voor oppashonden of makkelijk langs kunnen komen voor een wandeling. We hebben verder geen voorkeur voor een bepaalde dag of hoeveelheid dagen, mits we genoeg tijd hebben om het in te plannen. Ashley heeft een aantal jaar geleden met haar eigen Shi-Tzu en Chihuahua een nestje gehad, en dus ervaring met zowel het opvoeden van (zeer) jonge puppies als omgang met senioren. Natuurlijk is iedereen hond anders, maar we zijn er erg van bewust waar verschillende rassen en leeftijden aan toe zijn (en waar niet!). Last but not least, staan we er allebei voor open om natuurlijk even (digitaal of thuis) kennis te maken. We snappen dat het best spannend kan zijn. We live just 5 minutes away from both Rembrandtpark and Erasmuspark (which even has a special area for dogs!), making it the perfect environment for outings. We both work mostly from home and are very flexible, meaning we can give a lot of attention to any dogs we’re looking after or easily drop by for a walk. We don’t have a preference for specific days or number of days, as long as we have enough time to plan accordingly. A few years ago, Ashley raised a litter with her own Shih Tzu and Chihuahua, so she has experience with both raising very young puppies and caring for senior dogs. Of course, every dog is different, but we are very aware of the unique needs of different breeds and ages. DUTCH: Ik ben zeer verantwoordelijk, ben dol op honden, het uitlaten, spelen en met ze knuffelen. Ik pas mij gemakkelijk aan de regels waar je huisdier al aan gewend is. Ik laat zeker zien wie 'de leider' is, maar vind het fijn om onbezorgd de hond uit te kunnen laten. Locaties: Amsterdam west (hoge voorkeur), Amsterdam centrum & zuid, Amstelveen. Locaties inc. gebruik mogelijk van een auto: Haarlem, Overveen, Amsterdam noord, Amsterdam oost en zuidoost. Dogs are family

I have had dogs my whole life, they were my whole life. I moved from the English countryside to Amsterdam. It is now more difficult for me to commit to owning a dog full time. So, what better way than to spread my love for dogs, with all the dogs out there that need a new friend. Whether that is for a walk, a night, a weekend stay or a week. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing dogs live their best life. I now live looking over a huge park, watching the dogs run around makes me miss spending time with my pups. I work from home, meaning I am available for all your dogs needs and am able to take them for long walks, if thats what they like in the dog friendly park. We left Luna for the first time and were very worried at first. But all our worries disappeared when we met Jadina and her partner! They are so kind and took amazing care of Luna. Ik ben Thaise vrouw die 20 jaar in Amsterdam woont. Zelf hebben wij een ontzettend lieve Zilveren Labrador van 11 jaar oud. Mijn man werkt en mijn dagelijkse bezigheid is wandelen en spelen met onze hond. In plaats van een hond erbij nemen, hebben wij besloten om te gaan oppassen op honden. Honden: Soort honden waar wij op willen passen: Goed gesocialiseerde honden maximaal gemiddeld qua grootte. Geen vechthonden ras (pitbull, etc.). Onze dagelijks ritueel voor onze eigen hond: 07:30u Ontbijt en 1ste rondje voor plassen en poepen 10:00u Grote ronde in park of bos van circa 1 uur. 12:00u Tussendoortje 14:00u Grote ronde in park of bos/strand van circa 1 uur. 17:00u Diner en rondje voor plasje 20:00u Laatste rondje voor plasje en evt poepje voor t slapen gaan. Wat doe ik tijdens uitjes en tussen de uitjes door: Verschillende (bal)spelletjes, trek- en of apporteerspelletjes, zwemmen als t weer het toelaat. Goed om te weten: De hondjes zijn nooit alleen en krijgen veel aandacht. U kan altijd bellen, videocallen of om een foto vragen. Bij oudere hondjes, zoals de onze, wordt uiteraard rustiger gedaan. Wij wonen in Amsterdam Zuid, nabij Surinameplein, Vondelpark, Rembrandtpark. Katten: Katten nemen wij niet in huis. Wel is het mogelijk om katten aan huis te bezoeken: 2x per dag vers water geven, poepbak schoonmaken, eten geven en minimaal 30min spelen. Ervaring: Wij hebben ons hele leven honden en/of katten thuis gehad, dus veel ervaring met onze 4 voeters. Het oppassen op de huisdieren van iemand anders is wel nieuw voor ons en zijn dan ook uiterst voorzichtig. Wij nemen dan ook in beginfase maximaal 1 oppashond aan. Met vreemde honden zal er altijd een lange lijn gebruikt worden bij het wandelen/uitlaten, daar we uiteraard niet willen dat deze over straat gaat rennen op zoek naar t baasje. I love going on walks, giving cuddles, and keeping dogs happy and relaxed while you’re away. I live with my partner in a spacious apartment on Gustav Mahlerlaan. While we don’t have a garden, we do have a large balcony and plenty of indoor space. My partner also gets along very well with dogs and is always happy to help care for them. Hi! We’re a Colombian-Dutch couple who absolutely love dogs and would be delighted to take care of your furry friend. 🐶❤️ I’m Colombian and my husband is Dutch. We’re also proud dog owners of a small Doodle mix with Tibetan Terrier "Bruno" so we have hands-on experience with dog care and training. Our dog is very friendly and great at socialising, so your dog will have a lovely companion during their stay with us. Your dog will be sharing our home with our little one, and we’re lucky to have access to a garden where they can play, explore, and enjoy some outdoor time together. We also love taking our dog to Beatrixpark for walks and quality time, so your dog will be welcome to join us for walks and adventures too. 🌿🐾 We know that every dog is different, with their own personality, habits, and needs. We’re very flexible and happy to adapt to the routine your dog is used to, including their walking times, feeding schedule, playtime, training, and rest.
