Hi Dog Parent, I'm Sanika and I've lived in a few countries including India, USA and moved early 2021 to the Netherlands. I grew up always having dogs and have this fond unconditional love for fur babies! Both my husband and I spend more time looking at dog videos on instagram & tiktok than regular people videos lol. I enjoy going for a daily walks around Westerpark regularly and Houthavens is my absolute favorite to meet our dog friends and enjoy the nature. I regular sit for friends, colleagues and my neighbor when they need to travel or are unavailable. I have a hybrid work set-up as a Product Manager and have flexiblity working from home several days a week, therefore I can drop by before or after work and occasionaly if you need, during as well to walk your dog(s), visit them or house-sit them. I keep my avilability calendar up to date and you'll see most of my weekends are open. Our apartment is dog friendly and happy to sit them or board them at my place if they are well trained. In our search for a calm but secure sitter we found Sanika and Arjan here in Petbnb. Raiku is a white shepherd with a complete manual so to speak (but he will be "that guy" just to suprise you) - but when he is in his comfort zone he is a fairly relaxed white 1 year old shepherd. He took a day to settle in (which is really short for a white shepherd, so kuddos right there) - and after that Raiku was his own relaxed self again. Dieren hebben altijd als een rode draad door mijn leven gelopen. Als kind hadden wij thuis altijd honden, katten, konijnen, cavia's ( niet alles te gelijk:), heb jarenlang paard gereden. Mijn 2 zoons en ik zelf hebben onze eerste gezamenlijke hond, op 11 jarige leeftijd moeten laten gaan.Missen hem intens. Hebben nu nog 1 poes van 14 jaar en sinds maart 2023 een zeer sociale, rustige, goed opgevoede, 3 jarige Siberische Husky die ik vanuit de pleeg , ( toen werkend bij een asiel) en training uiteindelijk bij mij is gebleven. Het lijkt mij heerlijk om in een andere mooie omgeving voor een lieve andere sociale hond ( en ) te zorgen, mits ik Zoya ,mijn Siberische Husky mee kan/mag nemen.Samen te wandelen, te spelen en genieten van de omgeving ( mogen ook andere dieren bij zijn natuurlijk :)) Eind 2019 aan werk gegaan als vrijwilliger bij een dierenasiel op de honden afdeling. Begin van Corona, was ik daar zo'n 3 tot 4x p.w.en hielp de kennels schoonmaken, wandelen, socialiseren, trainen van de honden, inwerken nieuwe mensen, ondersteunen vrijwilligers, bijeenkomsten enz. Veel geleerd en meer passie voor de honden gekregen. Hierdoor besloten o.a. een opleiding te volgen tot hondengedragstherapeut Tevens met 8 anderen in dienst geweest als Puppyteam voor 7 maanden In wisseldiensten, 18 Drachtige mama's ondersteund + socialisatie met geboorte van totaal 142 pups en bijkomende werkzaamheden. Een bijzondere en rijke ervaring. Daarna blijven hangen bij het hondenteam zelf. Nu niet meer werkzaam bij het asiel, wel zelf coachen en trainen van honden en mensen. Tevens Sport & Ontspanning therapeut. Daarvoor jaren in evenementen branche gewerkt. Beurzen, congressen, evenementen nat.+Int. Alles zzp, wat mij vooral de laatste jaren zeer flexibel maakt:) Ik hou van de natuur en buiten zijn. Vooral bos,duin,heide. Wandelingen maken en omgeving verkennen, studie, maar ook rust en samen zijn met hond ( en ) + dieren Of andere bijkomende werkzaamheden.Steek graag de handen uit de mouwen!

I just absolutely adore dogs. Me and Doggo's is magic. You will encounter me walking Desie everywhere in the neighborhood cuddling 73.2% of every puppers I encounter. I am available to have your dog stay over during the day, the night. I can come to your place in central Amsterdam & de Pijp to watch & walk your dog for the day and the night. Downside is for sleepovers I have to bring my dog along, so that may be awkward. I can't travel super long distances, speifically during cold weather. That means that during summer I can operate primarily 1072 postal code regions, in summers *maybe & adjacent*. That means I am mostly available in or near de Pijp. I most certainly won't ship to Noord, Almere or Purmerend to walk doggo. The notion abhors me :) I can visit your house or stay the night walking or biking distance from de Pijp. I can host a dog that's compatible with Desie, inside my apartment. Desie is a female (neutered) Bull Terrier and . very agreeable towards other dogs. IF I stay the night or spend hours at YOUR place, I will have to bring Desie with me. I can NOT host cats. I postively adore cats but Desie adores them as a form of hissing snack. As a particularly illustrative - i have a lot of experience with tame rats. This may be an option, but who would pay "for someone to watch a bunch of rats" ? I would like to evolve experience taking care of avids, such as crows, ravens, birds if prey - but that would a major undertaking. Parrots and such, I guess maybe...? Beste Hondenbaasjes, Mijn naam is Brend en zo lang ik mij kan herinneren was er altijd al een hond in mijn omgeving. Na het stappen lag ze op mij te wachten, op vakantie sprong ze achter mij aan in het water. Frisbeen was onze lievelings wandeling of we gingen lekker uitwaaien op het strand. Nu ik al een tijd niet meer bij mijn ouders woon wordt het gemis van een hond steeds groter. Tuurlijk kan ik naar mijn ouders reizen om de hond te zien maar het lijkt me geweldig om een uitlaat maatje te hebben in de stad. Bij deze wil ik graag in contact komen met baasjes die hulp nodig hebben bij het uitlaten van hun viervoeter. Ik zou graag een wekelijkse ochtend(en) of een wekelijks avond rondje willen wandelen. Brend was super nice you can tell he really likes dogs. Something super important is that he can definitely handle big strong dogs, he had no problems with my boxer which sometimes can be very stubborn and not easy to walk. 100% recommended and I would definitely repeat if I need someone to walk or look after my dog on Thursdays.

Gek op honden, lief, betrouwbaar en professioneel!

Ik woon in de buurt van 2 parken en ik vind het leuk om verschillende wandelingen te maken. Af en toe naar het bos, dat is ook heerlijk! Ik laat de honden zeker 3 x per dag uit en zorg dat ze lekker kunnen rennen en spelen. Knuffelen is ook noodzakelijk, tenminste als de hond daarvan houdt natuurlijk. Als het zomer is, is de kans groot dat ik overdag extra lang met de honden buiten ben, of een keer naar het strand ga of een andere plek in de natuur. Ik heb veel ervaring met allerlei soorten honden en ik heb ook diverse opleidingen gedaan (kynologisch instructeur en gedragstherapie). Honden voelen zich snel op hun gemak bij mij.
