We're a calm and caring couple available to take care of your dog. Tiago is a proud Beagle dad from Portugal, and Sofia is a proud mom of a Labrador and a tiny mixed-breed dog, also back in Portugal. So, we have experience with energetic and affectionate dogs who love to play and be well cared for! We live in a spacious apartment by the Maas River, making it a great location for your dog to stay. Our home is warm and comfortable, and there's a nice street nearby for walks. Additionally, there's a community garden for dogs in the area. Ik ga graag naar verschillende uitlaatgebieden denk aan Delftse hout, Abtwoudse bos, midden-Delfland, de hondendijk, strand, De Broekpolder en noem maar op. Mijn naam is Maya, 39 jaar, geadopteerd uit Colombia en woonachtig in Rotterdam (Oude Westen). Ik ben een gevoelig en intuïtief mens met een diepe, levenslange liefde voor dieren. Voor mij zijn dieren geen huisdieren – ze zijn familie. Bij hen voel ik rust, verbinding en een natuurlijke vorm van communicatie, soms zelfs alsof we dezelfde taal spreken. In de afgelopen jaren heb ik op verschillende plekken in Nederland gezorgd voor honden en katten en ook op huizen gepast. Van Texel tot in de stad – overal ben ik met open armen en poten ontvangen. Honden en katten zijn me het meest dierbaar: ik speel graag met ze, wandel, knuffel en ben gewoon graag samen, in stilte of in gezelligheid. Als een hond avontuurlijk is en houdt van boswandelingen of hiken, dan ga ik graag mee op pad. Zelf heb ik op dit moment geen dieren. Juist daardoor voelt het zorgen voor andermans dieren voor mij extra waardevol en kan ik mijn aandacht volledig aan hen geven. Een kleine tot middelgrote, rustige hond (die niet veel verhaart) mag eventueel ook bij mij thuis verblijven als dat voor beide kanten goed voelt. Houd er wel rekening mee dat ik op de derde verdieping woon en dat er steile, smalle trappen zijn. Kleine honden kan ik dragen, middelgrote en grote honden moeten zelf de trap op kunnen. Mijn voorkeur gaat vaak uit naar oppassen aan huis, zodat het dier zich het meest comfortabel voelt in zijn of haar eigen vertrouwde omgeving. Naast het oppassen ben ik een creatief mens en werk ik met muziek en zang. Ik begeleid ceremonies en workshops binnen het veld van bewustzijn. Muziek en het samenzijn met dieren zijn voor mij twee van de meest natuurlijke vormen van verbinding en aanwezigheid. Dieren reageren vaak heel ontspannen op mijn rustige en zachte energie. Het komt regelmatig voor dat een hond of kat die als wat schuw of gevoelig wordt omschreven, bij mij toch snel tot rust komt en contact zoekt. Door regelmatig voor verschillende honden te zorgen, vrijwilligerswerk bij HDC, de opleiding en mijn werk als uitlaatservice, heb ik ervaring met het wandelen en begeleiden van allerlei honden: van klein tot groot, van gehoorzaam tot uitdagender, en van goed plaatsbare honden tot honden met gedragsproblemen. Ik heb zelf sinds kort een rescue hondje geadopteerd en zal daardoor een kennismaking en proefdag instellen om te kijken of het klikt:)

My husband and I are dedicated dog-lovers and proud pawrents to Winston, a 2 year old chocolate Labradoodle. Winston is a playful male (neutered), who plays well with other dogs and will gladly welcome a new friend into the home. We will treat your dog like they are part of the family, where they will be enjoying cuddles, daily walks to the park, and good quality treats. My husband and I take turns to work remotely from home, so there will always be someone at home with your dog to give them attention and take them outside. We'll keep you updated with photos and videos so that you can see just how much fun they're having and have peace of mind while you are away. We are open to other arrangements upon request, such as pick up and dropoff, or administering any medication or dietary requirements.

There is probably no word that accurately describes how amazing this couple is to board or sit pets but if I had to choose a word it’d be: SUPERB! Winston, their furbaby is also a champion - he made Spikey (a dachshund) feel welcomed, calm and safe for two weeks long. Spikey came back home energized, completely refreshed and even more excited about life! Liezl and Paul are naturals, and they know what they are doing! Their love for animals radiates even through Spikey now. They go above and beyond (as Spikey had a more specific routine including meds), are very communicative, helpful and will share updates with videos and images which also is a huge plus. We were always so happy and excited to receive our frequent Spikey dosage. This is now Spikey’s home away from home. Thank you Liezl and Paul. 5 out of 5 stars!

Spacious enclosed garden home near Clingendaelpark

Hello, We have recently moved to a larger home in a quiet, green neighborhood right next to Clingendael Park and the Haagse Bos. This location offers direct access to some of the nicest walking routes in the area. The house has plenty of indoor space and a fully enclosed garden with grass and high hedges. Dogs can safely move around, relax outside or play, depending on their energy level. The garden is a big advantage for dogs that like having outdoor access without constant leash time. Our jobs are hybrid and we coordinate our schedules so that usually one of us is working from home. This means there is regular presence throughout the day and your dog is not left alone for long periods. We have experience with dogs of different sizes, ages and temperaments and have been doing this since before our daughter was born. We now have a toddler at home who is used to being around dogs and enjoys their company. Because of this, it is important that your dog is comfortable around young children. At home, we keep things calm and structured. We follow a consistent routine with walks, feeding, rest and downtime. Walks are often in Clingendael or the Haagse Bos, depending on the dog and weather. Inside, dogs have space to settle and we provide simple enrichment like toys and interaction. We do not take puppies younger than 6 months. Before confirming a stay, we like to understand your dog a bit better: – How they are with other dogs – Any triggers or specific behaviour – Whether they have separation anxiety or bark frequently – Whether they are comfortable around toddlers We live in a quiet residential area with neighbors nearby, so we only accept dogs that fit a calm environment and do not bark excessively. Fijne, vriendelijke en flexibele oppas voor Sjekkie. Goed in het communiceren in wat nodig is. Het baasje van Sjekkie, die behoorlijk vergeetachtig is, loopt regelmatig mee en dat is voor Eelco ook geen enkel punt.

Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I grew up around many different pets, which gave me years of experience understanding animal behavior and care. I am a calm, patient, and responsible person, and I genuinely enjoy making pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Because every dog has a different personality and routine, I always adapt my care depending on their needs and energy level. A typical day with me includes regular walks, playtime, feeding based on the owner’s instructions, lots of attention, and a calm environment where pets can relax comfortably. Walks are usually between 30 minutes and 1 hour depending on the dog. Pets are never left alone for very long periods, and I always make sure they are supervised carefully indoors and outdoors. I am comfortable with shy or anxious dogs and try to help them feel secure with patience and gentle attention. I can also follow specific routines, feeding schedules, and basic training instructions from owners. I always keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel relaxed while away from their pets. Safety is very important to me. I keep a clean and pet-safe environment at home and stay calm and responsible in unexpected situations or emergencies. For safety reasons, I prefer vaccinated pets. Because I am a university student with a flexible schedule, pets are rarely left alone for long periods. In most cases, they would stay with me throughout the day. If I have a morning class, usually between 9:00 and 11:30, pets may be alone for a short time, but never more than around 2 hours. I always make sure they are comfortable, safe, and settled before leaving. I understand that pets are family members, and I will always care for them with love, patience, and responsibility as if they were my own 🐾
