Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile:) My name is Anastasia, and my first word was "a dog." I recently moved from Barcelona to Amsterdam, so my profile on the platform is new, and I'm looking forward to getting to know the four-legged residents of the Netherlands! My goal is to provide the same level of care, love and attention as if you were home and maintain the routine, so that your fur friend feels as comfortable as possible:) Back in 2016, I decided to turn my love for animals into something more constructive that may actually help dogs and their humans, and this is how I became a dog trainer. My approach is based on compassion, positive reinforcement, and understanding animal needs. We don´t punish or tell a dog what NOT to do; we show what we want from a dog and how to achieve it (and even receive a tasty treat!). After working in a dog hotel, volunteering in shelters for many years, and then creating my dog-training project (alongside my husband, who is also a dog trainer), I have deep expertise in creating a safe and loving space for your favourite creatures in the world. Although I’m a professional dog trainer, I also love caring for cats and have several years of experience cat-sitting for families and shelters. Anastasia was in our home for 10 days with our dog Koekie. She was the most loving and kind friend for our furbaby. We got updates and pictures or videos daily. Our dog really had such a good time with her, their energy really matched so well. We saw her multiple times before we went away. Every time Anastasia came, Koekie got so excited and wanted to go with her for nice walks and cuddle time. The house was left so clean too. Overall we highly recommend Anastasia!
