Creating Pawsome memories for your furry friends!

I am a student studying at the VU. I have been pet sitting for almost 3 years now here in Amsterdam. I have taken care of 50+ different dogs and cats until now and I am experienced with different breeds and habits of pets. Originally I am from China, and I am currently studying at the VU. I have a cat and a dog back home (the cat is 5 years old, and the dog is 6 years old). I've been responsible for taking care of them since they were a few weeks old, so I'm really used to the life rhythm with these cute little angels around. In 2024, I volunteered at an animal rescue center in Crete, Greece, where I had to take care of 15+ dogs. I enjoyed spending the whole day with them, taking them to the beach, and cooking for them. I treat my pets as my friends – not only loving and caring for them, but I also pay attention to the small habits and characteristics that make them unique. This is what motivated me to become a pet sitter, to make more fluffy animal friends! I study at home most of the time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. My daily routine is very flexible and can be adjusted to fit the walking/feeding time of your pet. I love sleeping with dogs and cats too and I am happy to let your pet be in all places in the house. But if there’s specific requirements for no pets in bedroom/on couch etc I will also follow them. For house sitting, I will make sure to keep the place tidy, water plants/ pick up deliveries if needed, will also do a thorough clean up at the end of the sit. I will make sure to be careful with windows and doors, not letting the pet get out accidentally. Ofcourse, I will also ensure not to leave food out unattended. During heatwave I will keep a close eye on the behavior of the pet, for dog walks I will also check the temperature of the ground before leaving.

Liefdevolle oppas aan het Erasmuspark

In mijn gezellige woning op de 2e verdieping vlak aan het Erasmuspark is een plekje vrij voor een oppashond! Samen kunnen we wandelen in een van Amsterdam’s mooie parken, knuffelen op de bank en chillen op een van de 2 balkons. Jouw hond zal alle aandacht krijgen die hij/zij verdient en nodig heeft, want geen knuffel is mij te veel. Ik ben al het favo oppasadres voor 2 hoog-bejaarde tevens blinde en dove chihuahua’s Harley & Poker, puber-Maltezer Kees, labrador-vriendin Lara, poedel-vriendje Ozzy en poes Mara. Ik werk regelmatig thuis en ben vrij flexibel met mijn werkplekken, en dat combineer ik graag met het gezelschap van een oppashond. Mijn kantoor is dog-friendly en mijn collega’s vinden het altijd super leuk als ik een oppashond meeneem, dus aandacht en knuffels in overvloed! Logeren mag ten slotte bij mij thuis, of ik kom gezellig op bezoek in de vertrouwde omgeving van jouw hond. English: In my cozy apartment on the 2nd floor right next to Erasmus Park, there’s a spot available for a guest dog! Together we can go for walks in one of Amsterdam’s beautiful parks, cuddle on the couch, and relax on one of the two balconies. Your dog will get all the love and attention he or she deserves, because there’s no such thing as too many cuddles for me. I’m already the favorite sitter for Harley & Poker, two very senior (and both blind and deaf) chihuahuas, teenage Maltese Kees, Labrador friend Lara, poodle buddy Ozzy, and cat Mara. I regularly work from home and have a flexible schedule, which I love combining with the company of a dog. My office is dog-friendly and my colleagues are always delighted when I bring a dog along—so there’s plenty of love and attention to go around! Overnight stays are welcome at my place, or I can come by to visit in the familiar surroundings of your dog.

Flexible dierenliefhebber 🧡

Als groot dierenliefhebber help ik graag mensen bij het oppassen van hun huisdieren. Ik heb momenteel bijna 5 jaar ervaring met het oppassen van honden en katten en doe dit met veel plezier. Hello! My name is Zuzanna, I work as a freelance Sustainability Manager, and study at VU. I love animals for their pride, independence, and intelligence. Some dogs are more interesting than humans! It is fascinating how their persoonalities differ from one to another. For my whole life, there was at least one cat at home. Since I moved to the Netherlands, I miss my beloved Borys, Zofia and Burszyk which live with my parents back in Poland. Dog’s best friends💖

I used to take care of many dogs in my home country. I love being around dogs and making them feel safe and happy🐕🐩🦮🐕‍🦺 I also love spending time with cats. In my home country, I had a Shiba Inu roommate and a cat roommate (the one in my profile picture). They both trusted me a lot and loved being around me. Dog paradise in Amsterdam

Verantwoordelijke dierenliefhebber!

DUTCH: Ik ben zeer verantwoordelijk, ben dol op honden, het uitlaten, spelen en met ze knuffelen. Ik pas mij gemakkelijk aan de regels waar je huisdier al aan gewend is. Ik pas het liefst op honden die max. een half uur per x uit moeten (al ben ik dol op af en toe een lange wandeling te maken). Het enige waar ik mee heb, is 'valse' honden, ofwel honden die agressief zijn aangelegd waar je erg streng tegen moet zijn. Ik laat zeker zien wie 'de leider' is, maar vind het fijn om onbezorgd de hond uit te kunnen laten. Ik ben in het algemeen een dierenliefhebber, dus voor katten of andere dieren mag je me ook zeker benaderen! Ik heb de meeste ervaring met honden, katten, konijnen en vogels. Locaties: Amsterdam west (hoge voorkeur), Amsterdam centrum & zuid, Amstelveen. Locaties inc. gebruik mogelijk van een auto: Haarlem, Overveen, Amsterdam noord, Amsterdam oost en zuidoost. Talen: Ik spreek Engels, Spaans en Nederlands vloeiend. Reviews: Ik heb nog niet eerder via petbnb aan housesitting gedaan maar kan je voorzien van meerdere positieve reviews die ik via andere wijze heb gevonden! --- ENGLISH: I am very responsible, love dogs, walking them, playing and cuddling them. I easily adapt to the rules that your pet is already used to. I prefer to take care of dogs that need to be out for a maximum of half an hour each time (although I love to take a long walk every now and then). The only thing I have a problem with is 'cheat' dogs, or dogs that are aggressive and you have to be very strict with them. I certainly show who 'the leader' is, but I like being able to walk the dog without any worries. I am an animal lover in general, so you can definitely contact me for cats or other animals! I have the most experience with dogs, cats, rabbits and birds. Locations: Amsterdam west (high preference), Amsterdam center & south, Amstelveen. I’ve always really loved animals and feel very comfortable around them. I used to have a cat of my own, whom I loved very much and still miss a lot, so I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can actually trust and feel relaxed about. I’m a calm, responsible and attentive person. I take routines and instructions seriously, whether it’s feeding, walks, medication or simply knowing the little things that make your pet feel comfortable. I’m also very happy to send photos and little updates while you’re away — I know I would want the same. I’m happy to care for both cats and dogs, whether that means home visits, walks, spending the day together or house sitting. For dogs, I’m happy to follow their usual walking and feeding routine and spend time playing and keeping them company. For cats, I can take care of feeding, water, litter, playtime and, of course, give them attention when they want it (and space when they don’t). My priority is quite simple: I want your pet to feel safe and comfortable, and for you to be able to leave without worrying.

Groot, middel of klein, ik vind elk dier fijn!

Altijd heb ik gewoond met katten en/of honden, sinds kort is dit helaas niet meer zo. Ik woon nu in een te klein huis. Ik mis hun gezelschap en daarom wil ik graag gaan oppassen! Ik heb een energieke en vrolijke persoonlijkheid, ik hou van buiten zijn (zelfs als het regent of sneeuwt) en ben op mijn gelukkigst in het gezelschap van een (huis)dier. De laatste jaren heb ik twee katten gehad; Bowie en Karel. Karel is heel actief en houdt van gezelschap, Bowie is wat meer op zichzelf. Het verschil in wat zij nodig hebben is groot, en altijd iets waar ik rekening mee heb gehouden. Bij mijn ouders had ik een hond en kat. Onze hond, Sep, was een Tibetaanse terrier die gered was van een fokker. Hij kon erg agressief zijn naar andere honden, wat voor mij betekende dat ik rustig moest blijven en hem moest kalmeren of omlopen wanneer andere honden in de buurt kwamen. Onze kat was liever buiten dan binnen en kwam soms thuis voor eten of knuffels, maar wel alleen op zijn voorwaarde. Hier heb ik geleerd zijn gedrag te begrijpen en mijn eigen behoeften aan de kant te zetten voor zijn welzijn. Op dit moment heb ik veel tijd en ben ik erg flexibel, elk dier is welkom bij mij!

Flexibele ervaren dierenliefhebber

Zal me even voorstellen: Ik ben Melissa 28 jaar en woon in een eengezinswoning in landsmeer met een tuin met mijn twee kleine kinderen (zeker dieren gewend) van 2 jaar en 5 jaar en mijn chihuahua teefje gesteriliseerd Ik ben jongs af aan opgegroeid met diverse dieren om mijn heen. Voornamelijk honden (van egt diverse rassen/ groot en klein) maar ook vissen, vogels, cavia’s, hamsters, konijnen, fretten. . Het fijnste is als de huisdieren hier komen in huiselijke sfeer, mits het natuurlijk matcht met mijn hond en ze kinderen zijn gewend zijn. Vrijblijvend kennis maken is dan dan ook wel wenselijk. De dieren die hier welkom zijn: -Honden, cavia, konijnen, hamsters, vissen, vogels, fretten, Eventueel andere kleine huisdieren in kleine kooi zijn ook welkom die ik hier niet genoemd heb. Ik snap dat het hier logeren niet altijd kan dus kan zeker ook op huisbezoek gaan voor eventueel katten en alle bovenstaande dieren die ik heb vernoemd. Ik kan dan gelijk thuis ook even de planten water geven binnen en in de tuin en of balkon. (Zit allen in de prijs inbegrepen) uw post netjes opruimen. Tussen door stofzuigen, de vuilnis doen zo dat u in een net huis terug komt! Om een heerlijke wandeling te maken met de hond sta ik ook zeker voor open. Denk dat ik zo wel alles heb benoemd :) Vrijblijvend kennismaken is natuurlijk altijd mogelijk om te kijken of het allemaal klikt en alles qua werkzaamheden en de prijs valt nog te bespreken. Eventuele referenties kan ik doorgeven als daar vraag naar is van de diverse huisdieren. Als je nog vragen hebt stuur me gerust een berichtje!
