Hello! 🐱 My name is Caroline and I am a long time cat lover. Since I was young, I've grown up with cats and have always appreciated the calmness and/or playfulness of being around them. Now that I'm living on my own, I miss the presence of a pet in the house. I recently have more free time making me more flexible to cat-sit. I have experience cat-sitting for my brother, neighbors, friends and friends of friends. I know how to handle young kittens as well as elderly cats, energetic and slightly more aggressive cats as well as calm, slower ones. I can brush/groom fur, clip nails, clean the litter box, administer oral medications and feed with wet or dry food. I always ensure to cater the experience around the needs of the cat; whether that means being playful and giving them lots of attention and petting them, or leaving them alone if they prefer solitude. I understand that if the cat only gets one visit per day it should count! While visiting your home, I don't mind doing other small tasks such as watering plants if desired. I go everywhere by bike so transport is no problem within Rotterdam.

Let me share a bit about my background with animals. I've been surrounded by these wonderful creatures since I was a child, both at home and during my job at the stables, where I started looking after horses, dogs, and cats at the age of 10. At home, I had rabbits as companions for a decade. My very first job involved routine pet sitting for neighbors and friends, which included looking after many indoor cats, 2 adorable beagles, a wise older pug and a very energetic labrador (50kg). In addition, I had the opportunity to assist a friend in taking care of his two magnificent Ragdoll cats over several years. Cats and dogs adore me, which I take great pride in. Later on, my friend added a Bernese mountain dog puppy named Thandi to the mix, and I actively participated in numerous puppy school classes to help with her training. So, rest assured, I have hands-on experience with both smaller and larger dogs. I'm 178 cm (that's about 5 feet 10 inches), and I've worked with powerful horses, so taking larger dogs on walks is absolutely no problem for me. I live in the city center, allowing me to travel conveniently by both bike and public transport. While I am committed to my university studies, my schedule remains relatively stable, so I'm hopeful that we can arrange to meet more than once.
