At the time, when I was small, I always wanted to adopt a dog but I never had one becasue my parents did not want to adopt one at the time since we had cats. Although I did not have a dog back then, I was taking care of my friends' dogs all the time. Right now I am the brother of the cutest and -thanks to my mom- the fattest cats in the world that are staying in Istanbul. Although at the time I was able to get dogs and cats in my house, due to my new housing contract, unfortunately I am not allowed to do that for some time right now. I am very attentive at feeding hours if there's any preffered and set hours for your pet in that matter. Additionally, I am very active person that frequently exercises. So, I'd like to have your cute friend in those frequent walks/joggings by my side. Also, your pet will be pretty free (even encouraged) to relax with me on the couch if it's allowed. If the weather is nice and if you are okay with it, I can just get your pet and take them to the park for whole day too. I am very polite and I am very flexible with my working hours. I have never been a risk-taker at any point or context in my life. So, if I suspect something may be threatening or harmful for your pet, I either get rid of that threat or I bring your pet to safety because it's better to be safe than sorry. I hope and believe that I can be a worthy caregiver to your adorable friend/child/family member with four legs. Ik heb altijd huisdieren gehad (katten, honden) vanaf jongs af aan en ik heb nu een geweldige kat Loekie, die de 'baas in huis' is bij ons. Ik werk niet dus heb ik tijd om door de weeks voor andere dieren te zorgen. Ik weet zelf hoe moeilijk het is als je op vakantie gaat en je moet je kleine prins/prinses achterlaten. Als wij weg gaan wordt Loekie twee keer per dag door de buurvrouw verwent met eten maar ook met aandacht en snoepjes. Ik wil het zeldfe voor jou/jullie kat(ten)/hond(en) te doen. In het verleden ben ik wel oppas voor katten en honden van buren geweest, en dat wil ik nu voor meer mensen gaan doen. Ik heb een auto, dus ben mobiel, en vind het geen moeite om een of twee keer per dag op katten in de buurt te passen, of honduitlaatservice (30 minuten per buurt) te bieden. Eten, water, spelen, fototje maken.. noem maar op! Ik ben in Engeland geboren dus 'no problem to speak english'. Ik spreek ook Frans en Duits als dat nodig is. Als je mij wilt boeken, doen we eerst altijd een kennismakinggesprek, zo kunnen we richtlijjnen en dergelijken bespreken. Ik ben door de weeks vanaf 08.30 beschikbaar sochtends, smiddags, en savonds ook in de weekend. Laat me weten wa je nodig hebt.

Steve is heel goed met de hond. Gio luisterde meteen naar hem. Het wandelen was heel gezellig zo te zien aan de foto's en video's. Steve is 3 keer geweest en we zullen hem zeker nog vaker vragen!

**Even though my calendar doesn't indicate this I can house sit for cat households over the whole week :) I'm an Icelander living in Rotterdam close to a very large park. I got my first dog when I was 7 years old (chihuahua) and the second one when I was 16. I'm from a small town in Iceland and have always loved all animals and nature. I will keep my calendar up to date so it'll be clear when I'm free. I have experience with all sizes of dogs as I have owned chihuahuas, have been walking a husky for some time and my sister owns a mastiff. I have been working as a dog sitter in Delft for 4 years , so I have quite some experience. I have experience with house sitting where I've watched over all kinds of dogs an cats. I've taken care of rescue dogs (beagles rescued from a lab) that have anxiety and are scared of most people and over dogs with acid reflux problems. I do not have open for house sitting for the whole week as I can not take on dogs during the middle of the week. Ik ben zelf in een huishouden opgegroeid met huisdieren 2 honden en een 1 kat🤗. ik vind huisdieren echt leuk, de enige reden dat ik zelf niet eentje heb is omdat ik van reizen houd en ik werk full time dus dan by vind het zielig om ze zo lang alleen te laten. Mijn naam is Maya, 39 jaar, geadopteerd uit Colombia en woonachtig in Rotterdam (Oude Westen). Ik ben een gevoelig en intuïtief mens met een diepe, levenslange liefde voor dieren. Voor mij zijn dieren geen huisdieren – ze zijn familie. Bij hen voel ik rust, verbinding en een natuurlijke vorm van communicatie, soms zelfs alsof we dezelfde taal spreken. In de afgelopen jaren heb ik op verschillende plekken in Nederland gezorgd voor honden en katten en ook op huizen gepast. Van Texel tot in de stad – overal ben ik met open armen en poten ontvangen. Honden en katten zijn me het meest dierbaar: ik speel graag met ze, wandel, knuffel en ben gewoon graag samen, in stilte of in gezelligheid. Als een hond avontuurlijk is en houdt van boswandelingen of hiken, dan ga ik graag mee op pad. Zelf heb ik op dit moment geen dieren. Juist daardoor voelt het zorgen voor andermans dieren voor mij extra waardevol en kan ik mijn aandacht volledig aan hen geven. Een kleine tot middelgrote, rustige hond (die niet veel verhaart) mag eventueel ook bij mij thuis verblijven als dat voor beide kanten goed voelt. Houd er wel rekening mee dat ik op de derde verdieping woon en dat er steile, smalle trappen zijn. Kleine honden kan ik dragen, middelgrote en grote honden moeten zelf de trap op kunnen. Mijn voorkeur gaat vaak uit naar oppassen aan huis, zodat het dier zich het meest comfortabel voelt in zijn of haar eigen vertrouwde omgeving. Naast het oppassen ben ik een creatief mens en werk ik met muziek en zang. Ik begeleid ceremonies en workshops binnen het veld van bewustzijn. Muziek en het samenzijn met dieren zijn voor mij twee van de meest natuurlijke vormen van verbinding en aanwezigheid. Dieren reageren vaak heel ontspannen op mijn rustige en zachte energie. Het komt regelmatig voor dat een hond of kat die als wat schuw of gevoelig wordt omschreven, bij mij toch snel tot rust komt en contact zoekt. Met veel geduld neem ik de tijd om een dier echt te leren kennen en me af te stemmen op wat het nodig heeft – of dat nu spelen, wandelen of gewoon rustig samen zijn is. 🚆 Reizen met het OV is voor mij geen probleem – met een reiskostenvergoeding ben ik beschikbaar in verschillende regio’s. 🏡 Voor house sitting, dog sitting of cat sitting ben ik beschikbaar voor zowel korte als langere periodes. 🧼 Ik ben een zeer schoon, bewust en respectvol persoon. 🌱 Ik leef al jaren veganistisch, vanuit mijn liefde en respect voor dieren. 🇳🇱🇬🇧 Ik spreek zowel Nederlands als Engels vloeiend. Fijne, vriendelijke en flexibele oppas voor Sjekkie. Goed in het communiceren in wat nodig is. Het baasje van Sjekkie, die behoorlijk vergeetachtig is, loopt regelmatig mee en dat is voor Eelco ook geen enkel punt.
