Een vrolijke en enthousiaste dierenvriendin!

Ik ben onwijs gek op dieren en wil al mijn leven lang graag een honden vriend erbij. Helaas laat ons (mijn vriend en ik) werkleven dit niet toe. Je wil wel de aandacht geven die ze nodig hebben. Daarom is petbnb de plek voor mij om toch een beetje liefde te kunnen geven aan en ontvangen van onze liefste maatjes! Ik ben al mijn leven lang omringd door dieren. Voornamelijk katten, maar ik heb ook vaker gepast op honden (en kippen, maar dat terzijde). Ik ben dus een kenner, verwen ze maar al te graag met dikke knuffels en laat ze graag uit in de natuur. Zo krijgt de hond quality time en wordt ik opgeladen van het buiten zijn en de gezelligheid dat een hond geeft. We hebben twee katten, maar die zijn het grootste gedeelte van de dag buiten en zullen ook niet binnen zijn als ik op de hond pas. Ik ben voornamelijk beschikbaar op zondag, van 09:00 tot 17:00 uur. Dan kan ik oppassen en uitlaten. Ook ben ik beschikbaar op de maandag en woensdag tijdens de lunch (12:00-13:30 uur) om uit te laten. Af en aan ben ik vrijdag in de middag tot 17:00 uur beschikbaar, oppassen in overleg. Het lijkt mij onwijs leuk om op een lieve honden vriend te passen. Iets wat op dit moment niet zelf lukt, maar iets wat ik wel graag wil. Voor ras en leeftijd heb ik geen voorkeur. Iedereen is welkom. Grote dierenvriend met veel liefde over

Mijn naam is Jiska en zolang ik mij kan herinneren is mijn liefde en passie voor dieren heel groot! Vanaf kleins af aan hadden wij al katten bij mijn ouders thuis, waar nu nog steeds een rode rakker genaamd Bowie rondloopt. De liefde voor andere dieren was er altijd ook al, en is ook de grootste reden waarom ik voor al m’n vrienden en vriendinnen de oppas voor hun huisdieren ben. De dieren waar ik vooral op pas zijn dan ook katten en honden. De liefde voor honden werd nóg groter toen mijn schoonouders een labradoodle kregen. Toen kwam ik er achter wat voor onvoorwaardelijke liefde zo’n beestje je kan geven. En daarnaast ook nog eens gezelligheid & vrolijkheid. Met alle liefde passen wij vaak genoeg op deze lieve doodle genaamd Otis. Helaas wonen wij in een appartement en zijn wij nog onregelmatig van huis waardoor wij (nog) geen dieren kunnen hebben. Ik mis dus een beetje dierenliefde en pas ik graag op die van jou! En ik wandel graag… Wat is er leuker om dat met een harig maatje te doen?

Hello there! After exploring different paths, I realized that my heart has always been with animals, so I decided to follow my childhood dream of working with them. I have a lovely cat who is almost 3 years old. I once fostered a cat for a friend for three weeks. They got along well during that time. They brought me a lot of happiness, and I used my camera to record those happy moments. My cat has a good temper. He currently gets along well with some cats. When the cat was fostered at my house, I put raw beef that my cat liked. I saw my cat touching noses with the cat before eating the beef, as if calling him to eat together. Then the cat came over and sniffed the beef and walked away. Maybe he didn’t like beef. But this scene surprised me. I usually play with my cat at night.

I am a student studying at the VU. I have been pet sitting for almost 3 years now here in Amsterdam. In 2024, I volunteered at an animal rescue center in Crete, Greece, where I had to take care of 15+ dogs. I enjoyed spending the whole day with them, taking them to the beach, and cooking for them. I treat my pets as my friends – not only loving and caring for them, but I also pay attention to the small habits and characteristics that make them unique. This is what motivated me to become a pet sitter, to make more fluffy animal friends! I study at home most of the time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. My daily routine is very flexible and can be adjusted to fit the walking/feeding time of your pet. I love sleeping with dogs and cats too and I am happy to let your pet be in all places in the house. But if there’s specific requirements for no pets in bedroom/on couch etc I will also follow them. For house sitting, I will make sure to keep the place tidy, water plants/ pick up deliveries if needed, will also do a thorough clean up at the end of the sit. I will make sure to be careful with windows and doors, not letting the pet get out accidentally. Ofcourse, I will also ensure not to leave food out unattended. During heatwave I will keep a close eye on the behavior of the pet, for dog walks I will also check the temperature of the ground before leaving.

Aangezien ik zelf geen huisdier kan adopteren omdat ik (vind ik zelf) niet genoeg plaats/tijd ervoor heb, is deze app een ultieme win-win situatie! Jij blij, je huisdier blij en ik ook nog eens. 😉 Mijn ervaring: Van kinds af aan ben ik opgegroeid met verschillende dieren bij mijn ouders, met ook verschillende honden en katten. Vaak kwamen ook de honden van vrienden/familie daar logeren als de baasjes op vakantie gingen. Toen ik ouder werd, ging ik ook wel eens bij kennissen in huis logeren om voor de hond te zorgen als zij op vakantie waren. Ik heb voornamelijk ervaring met grotere honden, en katten, maar ik vind kleine hondjes ook geweldig! Ik ben betrouwbaar, verantwoordelijk, lief maar ook consequent (hier worden honden vaak ook het meest blij van, namelijk duidelijkheid). Ik werk momenteel 35 uur per week, waarbij ik in de oneven weken op vrijdag vrij ben. Op werkdagen ben ik vaak op kantoor en ben daarom doordeweeks van 06.00-08.00 uur en na 18.00 uur beschikbaar. Af en toe ga ik in het weekend naar mijn ouders in Brabant. Na mijn werkdag ga ik ook nog graag een rondje wandelen, lijkt me gezellig om dat samen met een hondje/hondjes te doen! Graag kom ik bij jou thuis, ik vind het belangrijk dat je huisdier zich op zijn/haar gemak voelt door de eigen vertrouwde omgeving.
