Quiet cat companion

I moved to NL from the UK in 2013. I am pretty introverted, and therefore quiet and calm. I work as an in-house accountant for a large company, mostly from home. I grew up with cats. I've had cats my entire life. I love cats. By profession, I'm an accountant but I much prefer the company of felines. I have my own little tuxedo kitty (or rather, she has me!) and I love to cuddle and play with her. I just adore meeting new cats, and always stop to say hello if I see one on the street! I generally work from home so it's possible to have some flexibility. My preference is to visit your cat(s) between 8am and 10am, and/or between 4pm and 6pm. This can always be discussed before a booking though! Overnights are possible, but not for extended periods. I have my own cat (Leia), and she'd miss me if I were away for long. If I spend the night with your cats, I will go back during the day to spend time with mine. If you need care for more than a couple days, I prefer to alternate between an overnight stay, and one or two visits during the day. That way, Leia won't be alone overnight for extended periods of time.

Sinds mijn geboorte ben ik altijd omringd geweest door dieren. Thuis katten en een hond, op de manege paarden en honden, op de boerderij koeien, katten, waakhonden en alles wat er tussendoor loopt. Honden zijn mijn leven, letterlijk en figuurlijk!

Ik ben af en toe beschikbaar om een hond uit te laten, maar niet als vaste uitlaatservice. Ook is het mogelijk om een hond of meerdere honden tijdelijk in huis te nemen, mits deze wel samen gaan met onze eigen hond. Ik ben buschauffeur van beroep en werk dus onregelmatig. Hierdoor ben ik niet altijd beschikbaar en ook niet elke week op een zelfde dag of tijd. Ik heb zelf vier Border collies, waarvan 1 bij mij in huis woont, de andere bij mijn ouders. Maar in mijn omgeving heb ik ook Westies, Rottweilers, Jack russells, Chihuahuas, Shelties en een Amerikaanse Bulldog. Ik doe zelf met mijn honden verschillende sporten en trainingen en ik ben eigenlijk altijd met ze bezig! Ik vind honden fantastische en fascinerende dieren en ik val ook meestal snel in de smaak bij alle honden. Ik heb altijd heel snel een klik en weet eigenlijk bijna zeker wat ze denken en voelen. Ik voel ze heel goed aan en daarom laat ik ook met een gerust hart de zogenaamde "hoog risico honden" uit. Ik weet wat ik moet doen mocht er iets mis gaan en ik kan vaak de hond goed "lezen" waardoor ik vaak zie wanneer iets fout gaat zodat ik daarvoor nog kan reageren om het niet fout te laten gaan.

Aanbeveling

Carol is betrouwbaar. Ze weet heel.goed om te gaan met huisdieren. Ze heeft tijdens onze vakantie op onze Rottweilers gepast. We konden onze geen betere oppas wensen. De honden hebben het heerlijk naar hun zin gehad en zijn top verzorgd. Ze weet ook heel veel van dieren.

Gezellig oppas gezin

Wij zijn een gezin met twee jonge kinderen. Wij vinden het leuk om op dieren te passen en doen dat met veel plezier en toewijding. Wij houden er van om lange wandelingen te maken met honden in het park of op het strand. Wij hebben ervaring met verschillende rassen en kunnen met veel verschillende type honden overweg. We can do walks, hikes, swimming, even to a play day at the park, I am sure they will have an unforgettable time. We have been looking after pets for 7 years now, and in that time we’ve looked after dogs and cats with all kinds of personalities and quirks, so we are able to meet any challenge :) You can be sure that any instructions and specific requirements your loved one needs will be done as asked ! For us, it’s their stay, their way! We allow them on the bed and couch, unless you prefer them not to. We always keep the water bowl full and pets happy and healthy. Our preference is always to look after your pet at your home, for a couple of reasons. Most importantly, your pet doesn’t have to suffer any stress due to a change in environment, they can keep doing what they do in the comfort of their own home :) secondly, if we housesit we can also make sure that alls well with the house itself :) we can sometimes arrange to keep your pet at our apartment, but this is not ideal for them in our opinion. We are both flexible with our schedules, so hopefully we should be able to help you out ! At the moment, Karina has a day job while Keir works in the evenings, so there’s always someone around for your pets needs :) We look forward to meeting you and getting to know your special friends :)

Karina stayed in our house to look after our dog, McGregor, and cat, Greyton, over a period of five days. She was very accommodating of our needs and extremely kind and attentive to our pets, and stayed in communication with us every day. We came back to find the house was spotless and the animals very happy indeed! I recommend Karina whole-heartedly and without any reservation!

I kept a dog in my family for almos five years, but she died due to ingestion of poisonous rat. I still miss the warm experience with her and she really enjoyed me touching her belly. She is like a supporter especially when I feel depressed. After I came to Delft and moved into a small apartment, I think the small living space is not good for a pet, so I didn’t keep one like before. Dieren waren altijd mijn nummer 1

Sinds dat ik klein ben hou ik van dieren. Alle soorten dieren, al zijn het vissen, papegaaien, konijnen, ratjes en noem maar op. Ik heb veel ervaring met dieren, sinds dat ik drie ben zijn er altijd dieren in mijn huis geweest. Ik heb ervaring met, konijnen, kittens en katten, honden, parkietjes, vissen, ratjes en hamsters. Dieren zijn mijn passie, ik heb op het moment 1 hond en 2 katten. Helaas is mijn hond wel bij mijn moeder gebleven omdat ze vond dat ik de twee katten al mocht meenemen. Het zijn twee gesteriliseerde vrouwtjes die goed omkunnen gaan met andere dieren. Ik heb voor een maand voor de katten voor een vriendin opgepast, ze woonde bij mij met mijn katten. Ik heb heel veel liefde voor dieren, ze maken mij onwijs blij en rustig. Ik ben van plan om later een dierenasiel te openen omdat ik zo een fan ben van dieren. Ik voel de dieren aan, wat ze nodig zouden hebben en kijk goed naar hun lichaamstaal. Ik hou rekening met wat ze fijn vinden en wat niet. Ik zou ook weten hoe ik kleine puppy's of kittens kan verzorgen, ik heb namelijk voor een maand 2 kittens opgevoed waarvan de moeder is helaas overleden. Verder heb ik meerdere nestjes verzorgd van katten. Ik heb ook nog mijn vriend thuis, hij is ook een dierenliefhebber, zorgt goed voor elk dier die ik mee naar huis heb genomen. :)
