Hi there! 😁 I’m Alicja, currently doing a postgraduate degree in animal behaviorism, focusing on dogs and cats. I’ve also completed a first aid for animals course, so I’m well-prepared to keep pets safe and comfortable in any situation. My love for animals has been part of me since childhood—I grew up with dogs, cats, and small pets, and now I live in Amsterdam-Noord with my boyfriend, our British Shorthair cat, and our Australian Shepherd puppy. Ik heb zelf 2 katten en ben echt een dierenvriend. In uw eigen huis verzorg ik graag uw kat/katten. Liefst blijf ik niet slapen, maar mocht het echt nodig zijn kunnen we dit overleggen. Ook vind ik het niet erg om iets langer te moeten reizen. Ik woon zelf in Amsterdam de Pijp dus kan vanaf daar prima heen en weer reizen. In Amsterdam zelf doe ik alles op de fiets. Although i don't have experience in petsitting, I have had a few of dogs and cats throughout my childhood. We had a boerboel, Rhodesian ridgeback, Jackrussel, Pomeranian and one cat, I had a tendency surprise my parents with animals they didnt know would live with us. Animals are part of my personality at this point, I am often heard saying ''auuuuuw" when i see a dog or cat on the sidewalk. Betrouwbare en gezellige dierenvriend

Ik ben een enthousiaste dierenliefhebber die het gezellig vindt omringd te zijn met dieren. Bovendien houd van de natuur, wandelen en bewegen en doe ik dit het liefst samen met een of meerdere hondjes. Katten vind ik ook mega gezellig en leuk om mee te knuffelen of spelen (als ze me goedkeuren ;)). Ik heb oppaservaring met verschillende katten: van oude katten tot piepkleine kittens en van binnen- tot buitenkatten. Zelf heb ik altijd katten gehad, nu nog eentje, een hele gezellige oude binnenkat die lekker z'n eigen gang gaat. Ook pas ik geregeld op de honden van vrienden of van mijn ouders. Iris looked after our two dogs, Maggie and Britian, while we were away on holiday, and she was absolutely wonderful. One of our dogs is unwell and required special care and close, watchful attention, and Iris handled this with incredible care, calmness, and responsibility. Both dogs clearly adored her — they were happy, relaxed, and very well cared for when we returned. She walked them twice a day, kept us updated with regular messages and photos, and it was incredibly reassuring to see how attentive and thoughtful she was throughout our time away. On top of that, we came home to a clean and well-looked-after house. Iris is caring, reliable, and genuinely kind, and we felt completely at ease knowing our dogs and home were in such good hands. Ruby came by for an introduction a week ago and stayed in our house this weekend to take care of the cats and dog, she did a wonderful job, even though the dog is not easy, she is a puller and loves to chase birds, but Ruby managed really well! Ruby gave us regular updates with pics and videos, and left the house very neat. We would definitely ask her again, she is great, we came home to find very happy pets!! 😍
