Groot, middel of klein, ik vind elk dier fijn!

Altijd heb ik gewoond met katten en/of honden, sinds kort is dit helaas niet meer zo. Ik woon nu in een te klein huis. Ik mis hun gezelschap en daarom wil ik graag gaan oppassen! Ik heb een energieke en vrolijke persoonlijkheid, ik hou van buiten zijn (zelfs als het regent of sneeuwt) en ben op mijn gelukkigst in het gezelschap van een (huis)dier. De laatste jaren heb ik twee katten gehad; Bowie en Karel. Karel is heel actief en houdt van gezelschap, Bowie is wat meer op zichzelf. Het verschil in wat zij nodig hebben is groot, en altijd iets waar ik rekening mee heb gehouden. Bij mijn ouders had ik een hond en kat. Onze hond, Sep, was een Tibetaanse terrier die gered was van een fokker. Hij kon erg agressief zijn naar andere honden, wat voor mij betekende dat ik rustig moest blijven en hem moest kalmeren of omlopen wanneer andere honden in de buurt kwamen. Onze kat was liever buiten dan binnen en kwam soms thuis voor eten of knuffels, maar wel alleen op zijn voorwaarde. Hier heb ik geleerd zijn gedrag te begrijpen en mijn eigen behoeften aan de kant te zetten voor zijn welzijn. Op dit moment heb ik veel tijd en ben ik erg flexibel, elk dier is welkom bij mij!

I am a student studying at the VU. I have been pet sitting for almost 3 years now here in Amsterdam. I have taken care of 50+ different dogs and cats until now and I am experienced with different breeds and habits of pets. Originally I am from China, and I am currently studying at the VU. I have a cat and a dog back home (the cat is 5 years old, and the dog is 6 years old). I've been responsible for taking care of them since they were a few weeks old, so I'm really used to the life rhythm with these cute little angels around. In 2024, I volunteered at an animal rescue center in Crete, Greece, where I had to take care of 15+ dogs. I enjoyed spending the whole day with them, taking them to the beach, and cooking for them. I treat my pets as my friends – not only loving and caring for them, but I also pay attention to the small habits and characteristics that make them unique. This is what motivated me to become a pet sitter, to make more fluffy animal friends! I study at home most of the time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. My daily routine is very flexible and can be adjusted to fit the walking/feeding time of your pet. I love sleeping with dogs and cats too and I am happy to let your pet be in all places in the house. But if there’s specific requirements for no pets in bedroom/on couch etc I will also follow them. For house sitting, I will make sure to keep the place tidy, water plants/ pick up deliveries if needed, will also do a thorough clean up at the end of the sit. I will make sure to be careful with windows and doors, not letting the pet get out accidentally. Ofcourse, I will also ensure not to leave food out unattended. During heatwave I will keep a close eye on the behavior of the pet, for dog walks I will also check the temperature of the ground before leaving.

Ik ben Ché, 25 jaar, woonachtig in Amsterdam (Zuid/Hoofddorppleinbuurt) samen met mijn vriend. Ik hou enorm veel van honden en lijkt mij erg leuk om op jou huisdier te passen. Idealiter in de omgeving en flexibel. Maar ook zeker voor langere periodes of vakanties. Aan huis oppassen is geen probleem (dit heb ik al vaker gedaan) maar bij ons thuis kan het ook zeker. Ik vind het heerlijk om (lange afstanden) te wandelen en geniet enorm van buiten zijn dus wandelen met de hond is geen enkel probleem voor mij. Stuur mij gerust een berichtje! Ik ben erg flexibel, dus er is erg veel mogelijk en bespreekbaar!

Huisdieren liefhebber!

Van jongs af aan ben ik opgegroeid met honden en katten. Van een puberende meubilair opetende Saarlooswolfshond, rondrennende Bordercollie tot geadopteerde hondjes uit diverse landen. Niks is voor mij te gek. Ik hou ontzettend van wandelen en doe dat natuurlijk liever met een hond erbij. Naar het park, op het strand, noem maar op. Momenteel woon ik in Amsterdam, vlakbij een groot park. Zo nu en dan ben ik ook in Leeuwarden te vinden (mochten daar ook petbnb opties zijn). Ik hou zo veel van honden & katten (en andere dieren)!!! Ik heb zelf nooit een eigen hond gehad, o.a. omdat ik katten had en veel reisde. Maar ik heb altijd geholpen met het zorgen voor (en soms ook het opvoeden van) honden van vrienden en buren waaronder een Cane corso, 2 Staffies en een Duitse herder. Ik heb tijdens de covid/lockdown periode ook een aantal maanden een rescue (pitbull) opgevangen die met spoed een opvang plek nodig had, omdat ik toen nog voltijd vanuit huis werkte en hier de tijd voor had. Dit heb ik ook een aantal weken gedaan voor een ander klein hondje en 2 katten waarvan de eigenaar overleden was. Ik vond het super fijn dat ik ze kon helpen en extra aandacht aan ze kon geven in die periode. Ik werk nu 3 dagen op kantoor en mijn partner 5 dagen dus helaas zit een hond voor onszelf er op dit moment niet in. Maar ik zou het heel leuk vinden om af en toe gezellig te wandelen en/of op te passen en hiermee iemand in nood te helpen.

Give them treats (as long as you allow me and I'll always show you what treats or you can even tell me which one, if you have favorites or your cats follows some kind of diet) Play with them... In short, I'll be fully invested in the care of your pet. I am a trustworthy person who will take good care not only of your pet but also your place. I will be honest, plants are not my best thing to take care of, but I can read really clear instructions on when and how much to water them. This, I can do. I just absolutely adore dogs. Me and Doggo's is magic. You will encounter me walking Desie everywhere in the neighborhood cuddling 73.2% of every puppers I encounter. I am available to have your dog stay over during the day, the night. I can come to your place in central Amsterdam & de Pijp to watch & walk your dog for the day and the night. Downside is for sleepovers I have to bring my dog along, so that may be awkward. I can't travel super long distances, speifically during cold weather. That means that during summer I can operate primarily 1072 postal code regions, in summers *maybe & adjacent*. That means I am mostly available in or near de Pijp. I most certainly won't ship to Noord, Almere or Purmerend to walk doggo. The notion abhors me :) I can visit your house or stay the night walking or biking distance from de Pijp. I can host a dog that's compatible with Desie, inside my apartment. Desie is a female (neutered) Bull Terrier and . very agreeable towards other dogs. IF I stay the night or spend hours at YOUR place, I will have to bring Desie with me. I can NOT host cats. I postively adore cats but Desie adores them as a form of hissing snack. As a particularly illustrative - i have a lot of experience with tame rats. This may be an option, but who would pay "for someone to watch a bunch of rats" ? I would like to evolve experience taking care of avids, such as crows, ravens, birds if prey - but that would a major undertaking. Parrots and such, I guess maybe...? In thirty five years I owned three french bulldogs, three white canadian shepherd, three bull terriers. I profess to having a very deep and sincere bond with nearly all dogs.
