But if its a slow eating food bowl, please bring it. 2. Maybe 1 toy, but we also have toys. 3. Food ( no need to prepare portions, just write a reminder on a piece of paper how much of what) 4. Some cookies. 5. Bed, or blanket, or cussion. Even your dog sleeps on the floor at home, with us if they see other doggie has a nice bed, they are taking it from them haha. They always get jealous, so please bring at least a blanket, so they can switch. --- About Us Mike and I love animals! In my home country, I was a volunteer working to rescue stray cats and dogs. I have a lot of experience caring for sick cats, pregnant cats, kittens, and puppies. I can give injections to cats, kittens, and dogs if needed, and I have also assisted in cat neutering surgeries. We love dogs of all sizes—small and large. Besides caring for animals, I am a professional musician. I have a diploma as a music teacher, orchestra artist, and ensemble performer. I also have three years of experience teaching music at a school, working with children aged 6 to 16. I come from a family of educators—my mother and grandmother were both teachers. I am currently learning Dutch, but for now, I can only speak English and Russian, and I understand some Dutch. Mike has had dogs since childhood. He can train your dog as well.Most of doggies are falling in love with him within first 5min spending time together. Please feel free to contact us, and we will find the best way for me to help you with your pet. I also promise to follow your recommendations on how to care for your beloved pet! --- Important Notes 1. We take more than one dog. Not always, but during high seasons, we can have multiple guests, just like other pet sitters. However, all guest dogs here are friendly, sweet, and non-aggressive. Conflicts are not allowed, as we live in an apartment, and our neighbors wouldn’t be happy, haha. 2. Dogs can be separated—in different rooms or in the same room with a barrier, ensuring they have their privacy and rest from playing. It depends on each guest’s personality and needs. For example, if two dogs of similar age and size enjoy playing together, why should we stop them from having fun? (Of course, under my supervision!) But if your dog is older and needs more rest than a puppy, we will make sure they can relax away from younger dogs. Our main focus is your dog’s safety, health, and emotional well-being. 3. If you want your dog to become more social, this is the perfect environment! Your pet will be surrounded by friendly dogs who won’t react to irritation or grumpiness. Dogs learn from each other very quickly, becoming more social and overcoming past fears. 4. We live on the second floor. If your dog doesn’t know how to use stairs, you’ll be surprised at how quickly they learn from other dogs! Some even love running up and down, haha. 5. Our apartment is next to two beautiful parks—just a 1-minute walk away. We are also 10 minutes by car from the beach and another large park where dogs can run off-leash (unless they plan to swim!). Van kleins af aan ben ik al gek op dieren en ben ik altijd door huisdieren omringd geweest. Vroeger liet ik met veel plezier honden uit bij het asiel , dit wakkerde mijn dierenliefde alleen maar meer aan. Tegenwoordig pas ik regelmatig op de honden en katten van vrienden en werk ik ook op een plek waar ik omringd ben door dieren. Ik ben gek op lange wandelingen, korte wandelingen, wandelen aan zee of wandelen in het bos you name it! Houdt jouw harige vriend(in) van wandelen, spelen of juist rust? ik zorg met alle liefde voor een veilige en vertrouwde omgeving.

Jet is een geweldige dierenoppas! Ze heeft op mijn kat Pjotr gepast tijdens mijn vakantie. Helaas kreeg Pjotr net in die week een wondje aan zijn pootje, maar Jet heeft hem ontzettend goed verzorgd. We hadden tussentijds veel contact, wat mij enorm geruststelde. Ik kan haar van harte aanbevelen!

(English below) Katten- of hondenmens? Ik ben het allebei! Hoi! Ik ben Sterre, ik ben 33 jaar oud. Ik ben op zoek naar een viervoetermaatje. Of dat nu in de vorm van een kat of een hond is, maakt mij niet veel uit. Ik vind beide dieren leuk! In mijn ouderlijk huis ben ik opgegroeid in een gezellige beestenbende. We hadden een hond (recent: Heidewachtel, vroeger: Vlinderhondje), 4 katten, konijnen, kippen en cavia’s. Ik heb zelf één van onze honden opgevoed en ik ben ermee op cursus gegaan (de Heidewachtel, een jachtras). Onze poes is tweemaal zwanger geweest, waarvan ze één nestje heeft verworpen. Deze kittens heb ik toen ook verzorgd en gevoed. Kortom: ik ben praktisch opgegroeid als dierenverzorger. Later, als uitgevlogen vogel uit het ouderlijk nest, had ik helaas geen mogelijkheid tot huisdieren ivm verbod door huisbaas. Gelukkig kan ik af en toe oppassen op de katten van mijn ouders en de kat en Appenzeller Sennenhond van een vriendin. Maar ik mis de regelmatige, dierlijke connectie enorm. Honden en katten maken mij blij en ik merk de connectie met ze. Zij voelen dat bij mij aan, vaak lopen honden uit zichzelf vrolijk op mij af om hallo te zeggen en te snuffelen. Ik kan het dan natuurlijk niet weerstaan om even een aai over zijn/haar bol te geven. Met katten weet ik heel goed te herkennen wanneer zij aandacht willen en wanneer zij hun eigen ding willen doen. Ik woon dichtbij het Haagse Bos en vind het heerlijk om met een hond door het bos te wandelen. Doordeweeks werk ik, maar ik mag van mijn werkgever veel thuiswerken. Mijn werk kan ik overal waar WiFi is uitvoeren, dus ook bij jouw huisdier. Tussendoor en tegelijk met mijn werkzaamheden kan ik je hond uitlaten, met je hond/kat spelen en aandacht geven. Mijn kantoorrooster is zodanig flexibel dat ik bijvoorbeeld elke maandag voor je geliefde huisdier kan zorgen. We kunnen hier uiteraard goed contact over hebben wat jouw wensen zijn! Whether that's in the form of a cat or a dog doesn't really matter to me. I like both animals! In my parental home, I grew up in a lively animal household. We had a dog (recently: a Münsterlander, previously: a Papillon), 4 cats, rabbits, chickens, and guinea pigs. I personally raised one of our dogs and took it to training (the Münsterlander, it's a hunting dog pedigree). Our cat has been pregnant twice, with one litter being rejected. I cared for and fed these kittens. In short, I practically grew up as an animal caretaker. Later, after leaving the parental nest, I unfortunately couldn't have pets due to a landlord's prohibition. In between and alongside my work, I can walk your dog, play with your dog/cat, and give him/her attention. goed met honden en dieren in het algemeen

Vanaf mijn geboorte tot aan mijn studeren hebben we altijd honden in huis gehad op de Veluwe. In mijn tijd op Aruba (10 jaar) heb ik in huishoudens gewoond waar ik mede voor meerdere (grote) honden heb gezorgd. (Bull Mastif, Deense Dogs, labrador, en verschillende geadopteerde straathonden). Het komt vaak voor dat honden heel blij zijn om mij te zien. Dat komt denk ik doordat ik een bepaalde rust uitstraal, respect voor ze heb en geen gekke dingen met ze doe. Mijn werkleven in Amsterdam is niet geschikt voor huisdieren maar ik kan wellicht wel zo nu en dan voor huisdieren van anderen zorgen.

Diergeneeskunde student met hart voor dieren

Ik heb mijn hele leven al een liefde voor dieren en in het speciaal voor honden. Ik ben nu ook bezig om mijn master diergeneeskunde in Utrecht af te ronden. Ik ben heel blij met Willemijn & family. Leo was vandaag voor het eerst. Nog weinig mensen gewend. Ze hebben hem met zoveel aandacht en liefde omringd. Hem én mij geholpen hem verder te socialiseren als adoptiehondje. Zo een geruststelling. Heel veel dank.
