Since the day I was born, I have always lived with an animal. I have cared for many different animals, including cats, dogs, rabbits, budgies, fish, turtles, parrots, and hamsters. I recently moved here from abroad, and to ease the longing I feel for my dogs, I wanted to help take care of someone else’s pet and look after them. Unfortunately, I couldn’t bring my dogs with me because they are large and live with my mom in a house with a big garden. I have experience with animals that are in difficult situations, including dogs that are anxious, aggressive, or depressed. My own dog was one of them—he had a challenging temperament, but over the years, with patience and care, he became much calmer. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats and horses and have been actively caring for animals since I was very young. Our family dogs included an Italian Greyhound, Tibetan Spaniel and Chihuahua, and I also had my own cat who came into our family the same week I was born and stayed with us for 21 years, so I truly grew up alongside him. For about six years, I regularly helped by taking her Rottweilers on walks 1–3 times a week, so I became comfortable around bigger and stronger dogs from a young age. I have experience with puppies and kittens, adults and seniors, including shy animals and pets that need a little more patience and time to feel comfortable. I’m affectionate, calm and attentive, but I also love playing and being active with energetic dogs. Long walks are one of my favourite parts of dog sitting! I live very close to Sloterpark and lots of nature, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks and outdoor time. I’m happy to go on longer walks with active dogs, but equally happy to spend the day playing, cuddling or simply keeping a more relaxed pet company at home. Pets are very welcome to stay with me, which is actually my preferred option. I live with my partner in a spacious three-bedroom apartment with a large balcony, and we don't have any pets of our own, so your pet will get plenty of attention and space to feel at home. I’m most comfortable with small and medium-sized dogs, although I also have experience with larger breeds. I’m happy to care for puppies, energetic dogs, seniors and dogs that need a little extra time to warm up. I also have lots of experience with cats and am comfortable with feeding, litter boxes, playtime and both affectionate and more independent personalities. Since moving abroad, having my own pet hasn't suited my lifestyle, and having animals around is something I genuinely miss. Pet sitting gives me the best of both worlds, I get to have that companionship again while giving someone else's pet lots of love, attention and some very good walks. ❤️

I understand sometimes it is hard to make travel plans or even go to the office if you have a furry friend waiting for you at home. We are living in Diemen with my boyfriend and our 3 year old australian shepherd dog Tommy. We are working from home most of the time, I wont accep’t dog boarding or daycare if we are not home the whole time. And never leave your dog home alone. We would be happy to support you and give the attention your dog deserves during the times you are apart from each other. You can be sure that your dog is safe with us. Tommy is very friendly with all dogs and people. He socialized very well with puppies when he was small and he is still a very social dog. However male dogs tend not to like him(unless it’s a puppy) and that’s why we always try to let them meet before we commit to anything. He is very playful and full of energy. There could be times where Tommy is away. But it cant be guaranteed. We see every situation as a training opportunity, and we try to improve ourselves to be better to take care of our own dog in the best way possible. The only reason we do this is only to help other dog owners like us, who needs a safe and warm home for their dog. Hope to help you as well.

A dog princess and her loyal owner 👑

Hello, I am Bella, moved to the Netherlands last year with my dog, Pihe. We live together in a two room flat. When I adopted her 6 years ago, my life has completely changed: before that I could not imagine waking up early or being outside for hours. Now this is one of the part of my life that I enjoy doing the most. My dog is very playful and can be a good company for other dogs, she really enjoys when another one is around, so I would be happy to host your dog as well. Nearby my home there is a big park (Nelson Mandela) and a dog beach is closeby (Gaasperplas). Besides my dog I would take care of only yours. I usually go for two longer walks per day, but this can be based on your dog's routine, as Pihe is always up to have fun. Pihe has two beds and she is happy to offer one of those to our guest :) I know it is not easy to find someone reliable who takes care of my dog as I would take care of her, so I treat the pets with this mindset. As an owner I also prefer sitter for the long-run, so I would be happy to know and sit your dog on a regular basis. I am also happy to take care of your cat when you go on a holiday!

Tommy spent nearly a month with Pihe and Bella and he loved it! Pihe was very friendly and kept him company and played with him every day. Bella took great care of him and we will definitely book her again.

ik ben een echte hondengek

ik heb als kind altijd dieren om me heen gehad. Van paarden tot honden, van vogels tot konijnen. Mis dat nog steeds, zeker als het om honden gaat. Mag weleens oppassen op de hond van mijn baas maar dat is maar sporadisch. Zou best zelf een hond willen maar vind de verantwoording te groot. heb een huisgenoot die ook verzot is op honden dus qua tijd is er altijd wel een mouw aan te passen mocht ik zelf niet kunnen. Dogs are family

I have had dogs my whole life, they were my whole life. I moved from the English countryside to Amsterdam. It is now more difficult for me to commit to owning a dog full time. So, what better way than to spread my love for dogs, with all the dogs out there that need a new friend. Whether that is for a walk, a night, a weekend stay or a week.
