We zijn al meer dan 25 jaar hondenbezitters en al die honden zijn reddingshonden geweest, dus we zouden in staat moeten zijn om voor honden te zorgen die speciale overwegingen hebben. Ik werk vanuit huis zodat uw hond niet alleen in huis hoeft te blijven. We hebben zelf een hond (mopshond / terriër mix), maar we zullen voorzichtig zijn bij het introduceren van uw hond om er zeker van te zijn dat ze samen gelukkig zijn. Scheiding is mogelijk als dat nodig is of de voorkeur heeft. Ik heb ervaring met verschillende honden van alle groottes. Al mijn persoonlijke honden zijn reddingshonden geweest, dus als uw hond speciale vereisten heeft, kunnen we ze meestal onderbrengen! We hebben een elf jaar oude Pug / West Highland Terrier-kruising. Zijn naam is Buddy.

From Jack Russells to Ridgebacks

I recently swapped my desk job in sustainability consulting for the great outdoors to follow my true passion, caring for dogs. I wanted to trade my computer screen for fresh air, active days, and meaningful, offline connections. Growing up, I was surrounded by dogs of all sizes, from energetic Jack Russells and cheeky Pointers to friendly Retrievers and Ridgebacks. Because of this, I am deeply comfortable with all breeds and temperaments. I build an excellent rapport with dogs instantly and always treat them as my own. Twiggy is not the easiest dog to handle, she is quite anxious and has her moods. but Sarah did a great job. Twiggy trusted her and spent a great time at Sarah’s place. The communication with Sarah was very easy and nice, she was also quite flexible accommodating the timing of bringing Twiggy. Everything went very well and I would totally reach out again if I need a place for Twiggy to stay 😊

[english below] Hoi, ik ben Hanna! Wonend in Amsterdam Oost, vlakbij Amstelstation (goed bereikbaar met zowel OV als ook auto + lift aanwezig in het gebouw). Ik ben opgegroeid met katten, een hond dat uit een asiel is geadopteerd (labrador x stabij) en daarna een border collie x australian shepherd. Zelf heb ik ook kort voor een rescue gezorgd, helaas is deze niet meer bij mij. Ik zou daarom graag weer vaker op honden passen. Wandelen en hardlopen doe ik in m'n vrije tijd al best veel of graag, maar liever samen met een hond (hardlopen met de hond zou in overleg zijn / afhankelijk van of de hond daar behoefte aan heeft). Ik vind het ook heel leuk om te helpen met het trainen, te begeleiden bij hersenwerkjes/puzzels etc. Ik plan graag een kennismaking met jou en je hond(en) in om alles te bespreken. Een proef dag, middag, of overnachting is ook altijd mogelijk. Ik heb tevens (niet in die zin gekwalificeerd of professioneel, maar wel persoonlijke) ervaring met de wat ‘lastigere’ honden en deze zijn in principe en vooral in overleg ook welkom. Het aannemen van meerdere honden van verschillende baasjes gedurende dezelfde periode zal altijd in overleg zijn en ik heb zelf ook de voorkeur om de honden vooraf met elkaar kennis te laten maken. Hi, my name is Hanna! Living in the east of Amsterdam, near Amstelstation (so easy to reach by both public transport and car + there’s an elevator available in the building). I grew up with cats and dogs, and also have looked after a rescue dog for a while who sadly is not with me anymore. I'm excited to look after dogs again more often. I also really enjoy teaching dogs new things or guiding them with puzzles, brainwork etc. I’m looking forward to plan a meet and greet with you and your dog(s) to discuss whatever is necessary. A trial day or night is also always possible. I also have some experience (not in that sense qualified or professional, but personal experience) with behaviorrally challenged dogs, which are also welcome but that obviously would require a discussion to see how and what the dog needs / to what extent. Accepting multiple dogs from different owners during the same period will only happen in discussion with the owners and will require a meeting between the dogs beforehand.

Onze 2 husky’s, gunna en Odin, gaan inmiddels al langere tijd met heel veel plezier naar Hannah. Afgelopen maand zijn wij een maand op vakantie geweest en hebben de honden ruim drie weken bij haar verbleven. Het is echt ontzettend goed gegaan. Hannah zorgt supergoed voor ze. Ze wandelt veel met ze, houdt rekening met wat ze nodig hebben en zorgt ervoor dat ze zowel fysiek als mentaal genoeg uitdaging en aandacht krijgen. We kregen iedere dag fijne updates, waardoor we met een heel gerust gevoel op reis konden zijn. Ze is ontzettend lief, zorgzaam en voorzichtig met de honden en je merkt aan alles dat ze echt om ze geeft. Gunna en Odin zijn helemaal gek op haar en voelen zich duidelijk heel erg op hun gemak bij haar. We hadden ons geen betere oppas kunnen wensen en zouden Hannah zonder twijfel aan iedereen aanraden. Onze honden blijven absoluut bij haar terugkomen!

A home away from home

I’m from India and have been in Amsterdam for a couple of years now. I’ve had dogs (Irish setters) all my life and lost my most precious boy (Casper) in 2021. I’ve had the most beautiful journey of 11 years with my sweet Casper. Through these years, I’ve always wished to take Casper along in my travels but it was not always possible. Now that I’m away from home and miss the biggest part of having the company of a dog, I decided to set up a this account to help pet parents travel stress free and have the confidence that their pet is in good hands. With all that being said, it is obvious that I love dogs and get along with them really well. I’ve had experience with puppies, teenage dogs, senior dogs and each phase is precious in it’s own way so I’m not particular in the phase that they are currently at. All of them are welcome! Our pup Loki had the best time! We got regular picture and video updates and he was such a happy boy. He was well looked after and as he’s still young he has a lot of energy and excitement and Tanya and her husband looked after him so well! 5/5 :feet:! :pink_heart:

Gezellig verblijf bij echtpaar in Hoofddorp

Wij zijn Cees en Kitty uit Hoofddorp. Een echtpaar van 55/60 jaar met nog een thuiswonende dochter van 24 thuis. Onze aanmelding komt voort uit het missen van de gezelligheid van een viervoeter in huis! Wij zijn altijd opgegroeid in huis met honden en andere huisdieren. Helaas is ons markiesje, Zelda, twee jaar geleden overleden. Daarom zouden we de gezelligheid van een andere viervoeter hartstikke leuk vinden. We passen graag op kleine en middelmaat honden. Mijn naam is Melaney, ik ben een enthousiaste honden liefhebster en ik woon samen met mijn vriend die net zo gek is op honden als ik. We zijn allebei opgegroeid met honden, dus soms missen wij gewoon de gezelligheid van een hond in huis. Daarom zitten wij alweer 4 jaar met plezier op Petbnb! We wonen in een ruim hoekhuis met een grote tuin in Rijsenhout, in Rijsenhout is het lekker wandelen voor honden, veel brede wandelpaden, veel grasveldjes en leuke wandelroutes rond bijv. een grote kas. Maar we vinden het ook leuk om de honden mee oppad te nemen naar bijvoorbeeld een strand of bos. Ook nemen we de honden graag mee op visite bij vrienden of onze ouders als dit mogelijk is, dat doen wij liever dan de hond thuislaten. Het zou dus prettig zijn als uw hond dat ook gezellig vindt:) Misschien handig rekening mee te houden dat honden bij ons beneden in de woonkamer slapen. Honden zijn bij ons nooit lang alleen vanwege onze verschillende werktijden. Honden krijgen bij ons de aandacht die ze nodig hebben. En bovendien vinden wij dit ook mega gezellig! Hello, I am Bella, moved to the Netherlands last year with my dog, Pihe. We live together in a two room flat. When I adopted her 6 years ago, my life has completely changed: before that I could not imagine waking up early or being outside for hours. Now this is one of the part of my life that I enjoy doing the most. My dog is very playful and can be a good company for other dogs, she really enjoys when another one is around, so I would be happy to host your dog as well. Nearby my home there is a big park (Nelson Mandela) and a dog beach is closeby (Gaasperplas). Besides my dog I would take care of only yours. I usually go for two longer walks per day, but this can be based on your dog's routine, as Pihe is always up to have fun. Pihe has two beds and she is happy to offer one of those to our guest :) I know it is not easy to find someone reliable who takes care of my dog as I would take care of her, so I treat the pets with this mindset. As an owner I also prefer sitter for the long-run, so I would be happy to know and sit your dog on a regular basis. I am also happy to take care of your cat when you go on a holiday!

Tommy spent nearly a month with Pihe and Bella and he loved it! Pihe was very friendly and kept him company and played with him every day. Bella took great care of him and we will definitely book her again.

This is our second time leaving out dog with Elizaveta and her boyfriend and it was perfect. Brock was very happy when we picked him up, she sent us photos and updates via message and it was another very positive experience. We will be coming back :)
