Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats and horses and have been actively caring for animals since I was very young. Our family dogs included an Italian Greyhound, Tibetan Spaniel and Chihuahua, and I also had my own cat who came into our family the same week I was born and stayed with us for 21 years, so I truly grew up alongside him. I now also regularly pet sit through Petbnb and have looked after dogs of different ages, sizes and personalities, both for daycare and overnight stays. I’m always happy to send photos and little updates so you can see what your pet has been up to. 🐾 I also grew up around much larger dogs, as my grandmother was a Rottweiler breeder for around 10 years. For about six years, I regularly helped by taking her Rottweilers on walks 1–3 times a week, so I became comfortable around bigger and stronger dogs from a young age. I have experience with puppies and kittens, adults and seniors, including shy animals and pets that need a little more patience and time to feel comfortable. I’m affectionate, calm and attentive, but I also love playing and being active with energetic dogs. Long walks are one of my favourite parts of dog sitting! I live very close to Sloterpark and lots of nature, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks and outdoor time. I’m happy to go on longer walks with active dogs, but equally happy to spend the day playing, cuddling or simply keeping a more relaxed pet company at home. Pets are very welcome to stay with me, which is actually my preferred option. I live with my partner in a spacious three-bedroom apartment with a large balcony, and we don't have any pets of our own, so your pet will get plenty of attention and space to feel at home. I’m most comfortable with small and medium-sized dogs, although I also have experience with larger breeds. I’m happy to care for puppies, energetic dogs, seniors and dogs that need a little extra time to warm up. I also have lots of experience with cats and am comfortable with feeding, litter boxes, playtime and both affectionate and more independent personalities. Since moving abroad, having my own pet hasn't suited my lifestyle, and having animals around is something I genuinely miss. Pet sitting gives me the best of both worlds, I get to have that companionship again while giving someone else's pet lots of love, attention and some very good walks. ❤️

Growing up, I was lucky enough to share my daily life with many dogs and cats of different breeds and sizes, so having a furry companion around is part of who I am. Flexibele honden lover in Amsterdam

Ik ben 30 jaar oud en altijd opgegroeid (vanaf 2 jaar oud) met een hond. Dus uiteraard wil ik graag zelf op termijn ook een hond ; maar for the time being zou ik heel graag willen oppassen. Sowieso om een hond in te masseren bij mijn vriend ;) maar vooral omdat ik honden zo leuk vind! Mijn vriend en ik wonen in een appartement op de begane grond (70m2) met een afgesloten tuin (26m2) in Amsterdam Oost, op wandelafstand van zowel het Oosterpark als het Flevopark – perfect voor zowel korte als lange wandelingen. Het hele appartement is gelijkvloers en er is genoeg ruimte voor een hondenbench of grote mand. Ook hebben we een werkkamer waar de hond kan slapen als dat fijn is. We zijn flexibel met het afspreken van ophaal- en brengmomenten. Laat het vooral weten als je een keertje kennis wilt maken! 😊

Belle was absolutely fantastic and our Mochi loved her time with her! She sent constant updates, loads of cuddles, and walks in mochis favorite park. We would highly recommend and hope to have you both watch Mochi again soon 😊
