Hi,I'm Ece. I started pet sitting in Amsterdam 7 years ago because I was missing my dog in Istanbul. In 7 years I took care of more than 50 pets. I love taking care of other pets because they brigten up my day and make me miss my own dog a bit less (if that's even possible!). I live right next to the Oosterpark so our days are full of walks. Hi, my name is Jana :) I am a 28-year-old woman living in de Baarsjes in Amsterdam West. I originally come from the Czech Republic from a small town called Zlin. I love taking care of dogs as well as cats and overall being around animals ever since I was a small child. As for your dog pets, I enjoy going for long walks and teaching them some simple tricks, such as to sit or to lay down. Additionally, I used to take care of my neighbour's dogs on a daily basis back when I lived in the Czech Republic and nowadays, I babysit my friend's dog time to time. I just finished studying a master's program called Environment and Resource Management at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Currently, I’m searching for a job. Disney for puppies

We love dogs since we were little. We always had pets and were taught to not only give them love, but also take care of them, give attention and enjoy time shared. We make sure they get all the necessary attention, love, entertainment & care. We try to adapt to what they like. If it’s an active dog we don’t hesitate on take them to a park, play togheter, have a walk and dedicate the time they are used to so they feel comfortable. And if it’s a pup that enjoys resting and accompanying more, we love that too! We also enjoy to teach them when they’re puppies since we love seeing their evolution :)

Friendly Dog/Cat sitter in Amsterdam

I had 3 years of experience taking care of my dog and cat when I lived at my parents’ place, before that I had experience pet sitting my grandparents’ dog. Now I also have experience pet sitting dogs at my current place for short term (2-3 days) and a bit longer period (3 weeks), and it has been working quite well. When I am spending time with dogs, usually I will take them to parks or somewhere peaceful and full of nature. I will play balls (or their favorite toys) with them, and let them walk/run as much as they want. I always bring a water bottle, wet cleaning paper, and a trash bag with me, so when dogs are thirsty, I can give them water, or when they get dirty, I can clean them with the wet paper, and after they poop, I will pick it up and put it in the trash bag. It’s important to make our little friends feel happy, relaxed, and content, while keeping the environment clean. With cats I am quite experienced, because I spent almost everyday with my cat during Covid. We shared the bed together every night, and I love giving him massages and petting his little belly. I am quite sensitive to cats’ abnormal behaviors, so if anything goes wrong I can notice very fast. I find cats very lovable and healing, and luckily cats usually find me trustworthy. My room is 27 square meters, and I have a big living room, so there will be enough space for cats/dogs. Besides, there is a beautiful park near my place. If you need someone to take care of your pets, I highly recommend myself :)

Ruby was very sweet with Scotty. Took great care of him and sent me reassuring pictures when I left him with her for a couple of days. Would highly recommend her.

She doesn't have enough experience with dogs and has very questionable decisions. She gave too much treat to our dog which made her vomit. She didn't inform us about it, told us everything is good. After taking Gigi back, we noticed that Gigi's bed is covered with vomit and there was vomit stains on all her body. Apparently she let her sleep in vomit and didn't clean the bed and Gigi. Another unusual thing was that she decided not to take off her leash because she didn't want to "hurt her". So she thought that leaving her on the leash for 6 days is a good idea. She took it off only after we insisted. All in all, I don't think she knows how to take care of dogs.

Paw-waw there! If there’s a dog in the room, you lost me. When I was young, my friends and I used to save puppies from streets and care for them around the block, building them dog houses, feeding & playing with them. I always had a sweet spot for them. My own experience with dogs started almost 15 years ago, when my parents and I adopted a stray dog, named Gogu. He was in the loving care of my parents till he peacefully passed away at the age of 15, but for over 7 years, we’ve been best pals, while living with them. I prefer smaller dogs as I live in an apartment. I am great with taking care of dogs as I had many dogs throughout my life.
