Hi Dog Parent, I'm Sanika and I've lived in a few countries including India, USA and moved early 2021 to the Netherlands. I grew up always having dogs and have this fond unconditional love for fur babies! Both my husband and I spend more time looking at dog videos on instagram & tiktok than regular people videos lol. I enjoy going for a daily walks around Westerpark regularly and Houthavens is my absolute favorite to meet our dog friends and enjoy the nature. I regular sit for friends, colleagues and my neighbor when they need to travel or are unavailable. I have a hybrid work set-up as a Product Manager and have flexiblity working from home several days a week, therefore I can drop by before or after work and occasionaly if you need, during as well to walk your dog(s), visit them or house-sit them. In our search for a calm but secure sitter we found Sanika and Arjan here in Petbnb. Raiku is a white shepherd with a complete manual so to speak (but he will be "that guy" just to suprise you) - but when he is in his comfort zone he is a fairly relaxed white 1 year old shepherd. He took a day to settle in (which is really short for a white shepherd, so kuddos right there) - and after that Raiku was his own relaxed self again. Hi! I’m a second-year political science student with a big love for animals and lots of experience in caring for them. While my own two dogs—a calm and sweet 9-year-old brown Labrador and a velcro-dog 2-year-old Chihuahua—are currently back home in France with my family, I’ve been surrounded by pets most of my life. I also spent six years abroad when I was younger, where I had eight rabbits, and I’ve looked after cats and dogs of all kinds, including terriers and a Golden Retriever. Here in Amsterdam, I live with roommates who have pets of their own back home; a cat and two Chihuahuas. So we're all used to caring for animals. I’m used to animals with different personalities, and I especially love spending time with affectionate, velcro-type dogs who like to stick close and get plenty of attention. I’m also happy to play, cuddle, or just be a calming presence for older pets. We live just a two-minute walk from Oosterpark, which is perfect for regular walks and playtime if your dog needs a lot of outside time. There’s almost always someone home, so your pet will rarely be alone and I can guarantee will get plenty of love and attention throughout the day. I can also help with oral medication if your dog needs it mixed into food, as I've done this with my Labrador. One thing to note however, our apartment is on the second floor with typical Amsterdam stairs. Most dogs manage just fine, but if your animal has mobility issues, it’s something to consider. I’m available any time and happy to help, whether it’s for a weekend, a longer stay, or a last-minute booking. Your pet will be cared for in a friendly, safe, and relaxed environment where we'll make sure they'll feel right at home!

Hey hondeneigenaar, wij zijn Regina & Luuk, twee hondenliefhebbers met een gebrek aan honden. Wij wonen vlakbij het Oosterpark in Amsterdam. Beide hebben we vroeger honden gehad en dit is iets dat we graag weer terug willen in ons leven. We hebben ervaring met het oppassen van een paar verschillende andere honden via dit platform of van familie. Gelukkig vinden de meeste honden ons al snel leuk. Dogs are family

I have had dogs my whole life, they were my whole life. I moved from the English countryside to Amsterdam. It is now more difficult for me to commit to owning a dog full time. So, what better way than to spread my love for dogs, with all the dogs out there that need a new friend. Whether that is for a walk, a night, a weekend stay or a week. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing dogs live their best life. I now live looking over a huge park, watching the dogs run around makes me miss spending time with my pups. I work from home, meaning I am available for all your dogs needs and am able to take them for long walks, if thats what they like in the dog friendly park. If that's not what your pup prefers and they just like to chill in the sun chewing on some watermelon, that's also great for me. I want them to enjoy being here as much as I enjoy having them.

We left Luna for the first time and were very worried at first. But all our worries disappeared when we met Jadina and her partner! They are so kind and took amazing care of Luna. They kept sending us pictures every day, so we knew she was doing well. We were so happy that Luna was with them, and we’ll definitely leave her with them again next time we’re away :)

Hondenvriend die meteen vertrouwd wordt

Ik laat al ruim zeven jaar honden uit voor buurtgenoten. Heb snel veel vertrouwen bij ze geboekt en een goede band met ze opgebouwd. Ze voelen meteen dat ik het goed met ze voor heb. Lekker wandelen in het park, het liefst zonder riem, als mogelijk. Ik laat ze graag genieten van wat vrijheid, maar ben ook duidelijk in mijn bevelen. Laat ze lekker spelen met bal of stok. Er staat in mijn profiel dat ik geen buitenruimte heb, dwz geen tuin, maar wel een heerlijk balkon. Als het een langere periode is dat honden bij mij verblijven, maximaal 1 week, moet de hond wel even alleen gelaten kunnen worden. Als de hond goed alleen kan zijn, is een langere periode bespreekbaar. Als je hond makkelijk mee te nemen is of een paar uur alleen kan zijn, dan is mijn kalender flexibeler. nu staan de dagen aangevinkt waarop ik geen afspraak heb. Ik ben een betrouwbaar iemand, die altijd haar afspraken nakomt. Eventuele referenties daarvoor kun je krijgen bij de hondeneigenaren van mijn uitlaathonden, of Petbnb reviews. Ik pas het liefst op kleine tot middelgrote honden. Ik ben zelf nl. ook niet zo groot. Ik heb de cursus ‘liefdevolle communicatie met je hond’ bij Stressless dogs gedaan.

Brigitte is een ontzettend lieve en enthousiaste hondenliefhebber. Ze wil alles over je hond weten om zo goed mogelijk voor haar logé te kunnen zorgen. Ze stuurt fijne updates en foto’s. Ruby was helemaal op haar gemak, en ik dus ook. Geen moment twijfel of ze wel in goede handen was. ook verwacht zeker dat Ruby vaker zal gaan logeren bij Brigitte :smiley:. Een stel uit Oost

Wij zijn een stel uit Amsterdam. We hebben een leuke Boston Terrier, genaamd Salvador. We passen graag op andere honden, en ze mogen ook komen slapen. We zijn erg flexibel, en zullen met veel liefde voor onze gast zorgen. Dus mocht u een oppas voor overdag nodig hebben, of een oppas voor meerdere dagen, neem graag contact met ons op. Although i don't have experience in petsitting, I have had a few of dogs and cats throughout my childhood. We had a boerboel, Rhodesian ridgeback, Jackrussel, Pomeranian and one cat, I had a tendency surprise my parents with animals they didnt know would live with us. Animals are part of my personality at this point, I am often heard saying ''auuuuuw" when i see a dog or cat on the sidewalk. At the moment I have plenty of free time(the whole day) to be available to your furry friend. I enjoy hiking but for the elderly I wouldn't mind sitting on the couch with them.
