Ik ben opgegroeid met honden en ben echt een enorme hondenliefhebber. Thuis hadden we twee lieve labradoodles, dus wandelen, spelen, verzorgen en vooral heel veel knuffelen met honden is voor mij altijd heel vanzelfsprekend geweest. 🐾 Met mijn baan als consultant lukt het me helaas niet om zelf fulltime een hond te hebben, hoe graag ik dat ook zou willen. Juist daarom vind ik het extra leuk om via Petbnb op honden te passen en zo toch regelmatig een gezellige viervoeter om me heen te hebben. Ik pas nog vaak op de honden van mijn ouders wanneer zij op vakantie zijn en in Amsterdam zorg ik ook regelmatig voor de honden van vrienden. Ik heb daardoor veel ervaring met het verzorgen van honden en weet hoe belangrijk het is dat een hond zich veilig, ontspannen en op zijn gemak voelt bij iemand anders. Ik wandel zelf graag en vind het heerlijk om samen op pad te gaan, maar ben minstens zo blij met een gezellige avond op de bank en een hond die graag komt knuffelen. Voor mij is oppassen dan ook echt iets waar ik veel plezier uit haal – en niet alleen een manier om een extra zakcentje te verdienen 🐶

Have just moved to the Netherlands from Ireland and have had to leave my family dogs behind- missing company on my walks and evening cuddles. Wij zijn Guusje & Sietse, een avontuurlijk en sportief stel en we houden ervan om veel buiten te zijn. Omdat we zelf enkel een (ruim) balkon hebben, vinden we ons huis niet geschikt voor het hebben van een permanent huisdier maar we zouden het leuk vinden om mensen in de buurt te helpen met het opvangen van hun huisdieren wanneer nodig! We houden van lange wandelingen door Flevopark of vliegerbos, dagjes uitwaaien aan het strand (als het kan) en vinden het belangrijk dat een kat/hond de aandacht krijgt die ze nodig hebben. We zijn allebei opgegroeid met katten en honden, dus we hebben veel ervaring. Het liefst passen we op middelgrote honden die makkelijk in de omgang zijn en het fijn vinden om bij mensen in de buurt te zijn. Door haar werk als freelancer werkt Guusje veel vanuit huis. Daarom is ze flexibel en kan ze overdag tijd maken voor langere wandelingen!

We hadden een gezellige kennismaking bij Guusje en Sietse, dat gaf al veel vertrouwen vooraf. Curly heeft 2 nachtjes bij ze gelogeerd, we kregen een paar leuke foto's waarop hij er erg relaxt en tevreden uitzag. Fijn oppas-adresje, wij doen zeker weer een nieuwe aanvraag!

Hello, I am Bella, moved to the Netherlands last year with my dog, Pihe. We live together in a two room flat. When I adopted her 6 years ago, my life has completely changed: before that I could not imagine waking up early or being outside for hours. Now this is one of the part of my life that I enjoy doing the most. My dog is very playful and can be a good company for other dogs, she really enjoys when another one is around, so I would be happy to host your dog as well. Nearby my home there is a big park (Nelson Mandela) and a dog beach is closeby (Gaasperplas). Besides my dog I would take care of only yours. I usually go for two longer walks per day, but this can be based on your dog's routine, as Pihe is always up to have fun. Pihe has two beds and she is happy to offer one of those to our guest :) I know it is not easy to find someone reliable who takes care of my dog as I would take care of her, so I treat the pets with this mindset. As an owner I also prefer sitter for the long-run, so I would be happy to know and sit your dog on a regular basis. I am also happy to take care of your cat when you go on a holiday!

Tommy spent nearly a month with Pihe and Bella and he loved it! Pihe was very friendly and kept him company and played with him every day. Bella took great care of him and we will definitely book her again.

Hey hondeneigenaar, wij zijn Regina & Luuk, twee hondenliefhebbers met een gebrek aan honden. Wij wonen vlakbij het Oosterpark in Amsterdam. Although i don't have experience in petsitting, I have had a few of dogs and cats throughout my childhood. We had a boerboel, Rhodesian ridgeback, Jackrussel, Pomeranian and one cat, I had a tendency surprise my parents with animals they didnt know would live with us. Animals are part of my personality at this point, I am often heard saying ''auuuuuw" when i see a dog or cat on the sidewalk.
