Hi! My name is Marijke. I am a freelance video- and photographer and volunteer at DOA, the biggest animal shelter in Amsterdam. I grew up with dogs and one day would love to be a 'pawrent' myself, but due to my many travel plans, walking/sitting your pup is a great alternative to spend time with sweet furry K9’s. Besides my filmmaking & photography business, I have been a certified dog walker for 7 years (in SF and NYC) and as such have walked and taken care of more than 180 different dogs in all shapes and sizes. And I love them all as if they were my own! My service got nothing but 5 out of 5 stars reviews. I've also been a foster dog mum. I cared for 4 rescue dogs transported from Texan high-kill shelters to NYC with Hearts & Bones Rescue organization. I cared for and trained these sweeties, gave them a safe and loving home to decompress from all the hardships, before they got adopted #savinglives Your dog will receive maximum attention, play time, walks, bathroom stops and belly rubs :-))). And of course I will sent you photo/video/text updates so you are assured your furry sweetheart has the best time ever. Your dog will be walked at least two to three times a day (depending on how long the sitting lasts). Your pup may be left alone 2 hours max. There are no other pets in my home. I live on the 4th floor and the building has no elevator, so be aware your dog needs to be able to take stairs or is fine with being carried. My home is near the Vondelpark so I am well situated to take your pupper to enjoy some exercise and fresh air. Please, feel free to reach out to me. I had 3 years of experience taking care of my dog and cat when I lived at my parents’ place, before that I had experience pet sitting my grandparents’ dog. Now I also have experience pet sitting dogs at my current place for short term (2-3 days) and a bit longer period (3 weeks), and it has been working quite well. When I am spending time with dogs, usually I will take them to parks or somewhere peaceful and full of nature. I will play balls (or their favorite toys) with them, and let them walk/run as much as they want. I always bring a water bottle, wet cleaning paper, and a trash bag with me, so when dogs are thirsty, I can give them water, or when they get dirty, I can clean them with the wet paper, and after they poop, I will pick it up and put it in the trash bag. It’s important to make our little friends feel happy, relaxed, and content, while keeping the environment clean. With cats I am quite experienced, because I spent almost everyday with my cat during Covid. We shared the bed together every night, and I love giving him massages and petting his little belly. I am quite sensitive to cats’ abnormal behaviors, so if anything goes wrong I can notice very fast. I find cats very lovable and healing, and luckily cats usually find me trustworthy. My room is 27 square meters, and I have a big living room, so there will be enough space for cats/dogs. Besides, there is a beautiful park near my place. If you need someone to take care of your pets, I highly recommend myself :)

Ruby was very sweet with Scotty. Took great care of him and sent me reassuring pictures when I left him with her for a couple of days. Would highly recommend her.

Op zoek naar een lieve en actieve hondenoppas in Amsterdam? Wij zijn Luis en Lisa en allebei gek op huisdieren. Luis is opgegroeid met katten en zelf altijd katten gehad en Lisa is opgegroeid met honden. Honden en katten maken ons blij, laat staan tijd met ze doorbrengen. We zijn gek op alle soorten honden, groot en klein. Lisa is met een golden opgegroeid. Luis is degene die helemaal gek is op katten en mega goed met ze kan opschieten. Lisa heeft een lange tijd opgepast bij een gezin met een beagle. Wandelen, eten geven, spelen en ook als zij op vakantie waren bleef zij bij de hond. We zijn er nog niet over uit welk huisdier we willen dus op deze manier is het perfect om wel tijd met ze door te brengen. Lisa werkt als stewardess dus niet altijd in Nederland, maar Luis werkt vanuit huis. Wij kunnen niet wachten om op u hond of kat te mogen passen.

Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats and horses and have been actively caring for animals since I was very young. Our family dogs included an Italian Greyhound, Tibetan Spaniel and Chihuahua, and I also had my own cat who came into our family the same week I was born and stayed with us for 21 years, so I truly grew up alongside him. For about six years, I regularly helped by taking her Rottweilers on walks 1–3 times a week, so I became comfortable around bigger and stronger dogs from a young age. I have experience with puppies and kittens, adults and seniors, including shy animals and pets that need a little more patience and time to feel comfortable. I’m affectionate, calm and attentive, but I also love playing and being active with energetic dogs. Long walks are one of my favourite parts of dog sitting! I live very close to Sloterpark and lots of nature, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks and outdoor time. I’m happy to go on longer walks with active dogs, but equally happy to spend the day playing, cuddling or simply keeping a more relaxed pet company at home. Pets are very welcome to stay with me, which is actually my preferred option. I live with my partner in a spacious three-bedroom apartment with a large balcony, and we don't have any pets of our own, so your pet will get plenty of attention and space to feel at home. I’m most comfortable with small and medium-sized dogs, although I also have experience with larger breeds. I’m happy to care for puppies, energetic dogs, seniors and dogs that need a little extra time to warm up. I also have lots of experience with cats and am comfortable with feeding, litter boxes, playtime and both affectionate and more independent personalities. Since moving abroad, having my own pet hasn't suited my lifestyle, and having animals around is something I genuinely miss. Pet sitting gives me the best of both worlds, I get to have that companionship again while giving someone else's pet lots of love, attention and some very good walks. ❤️

My house is just bellow Westerpark, also close to a small park near my house. I normally walk your dog 3 times-every morning, at lunchtime, and at night time to either of the park. If your dog needs more often short walk I will adjust for it. Feeding will be on schedule and I have experience of medication feeding too. For home visit and dog walking, I will only offer if the location is near my residence area. -BOARDING ENVIRONMENT 🏠 I work from home everyday as Project Manager of IT software. I live alone and my house has living room + 1 dining room + 1 bedroom. There are multiple dog beds. So enough space and calm envrionment for your best mates. And the home is very close to westerpark for long walk ! While I have a dog visitor, for less than 3 days I will be at home the whole time except an errand about an hour occasionally. For more than 4 days, I can't promise to stay the house all the time. I may be out from home few hours (less than 5hours), but I will make sure the environemnt is safe and comfortable to them. Maximum dogs number in the house at the same time will be 3 for over night, 4 for day care. Also I am very flexible with drop off and pick up times, as well as stay extention. The building also has lift. The neiboughhood is very green, literally a dog park under my balcony. there are lake and grasslands nearby, perfect for walking dogs. The building also has lift. Last but not least, my partner and I have lived together since 2007, now both of us work from home and love dogs dearly, I guarantee we will have lot of time to play with your babies! ☺️😛 Ik had 4 honden in mijn 44 jarige leven. Duitse herder in mijn jeugd, en drie chows in de laatste 15 jaar. Ik ruil altijd met vrienden om op op elkaars honden te passen als we op vakantie gaan. Mijn laatste chow stierf op 15-jarige leeftijd in maart. Maart. Ik ben nog niet toe aan een nieuwe, maar... maar ik zou graag weer bij de beste vrienden. Ik woon in een huisdier-proof appartement met honden deur naar het terras op het zuiden met groen uitzicht. Het gebouw heeft ook een lift. De buurt is erg groen, letterlijk een hondenpark onder mijn balkon. Er zijn meer en graslanden in de buurt, perfect om te wandelen honden. Het gebouw heeft ook een lift. Last but not least, mijn partner en ik hebben wonen samen sinds 2007, nu werken we allebei werken vanuit huis en houden veel van honden, ik garanderen dat we veel tijd hebben om te spelen met uw baby's! ❤️

We had a great experience with Dillon and would definitely book with him again. He took excellent care of Hilbert, regularly sent us lovely videos from their walks, gave him the medication he needed, and even kept his health tracker charged. Everything went smoothly, and it was clear that Hilbert was well looked after throughout his stay. Highly recommended!

Toegewijde, liefdevolle oppas

Ik als oppas: Ik vind het heerlijk om met de hond te gaan wandelen, maar geniet ook al van alleen zijn/haar aanwezigheid in huis. Ik hoor graag wat de voorkeuren van de hond zijn zodat ik daarop aan kan passen. Kort over mij: Ik kom oorspronkelijk uit Utrecht. Heb Media&Cultuur gestudeerd in Amsterdam en ben nu aan het werk in de filmwereld. Zelf ben ik opgegroeid met katten, maar heb altijd een liefde voor honden gehad. Momenteel heb ik niet de middelen en tijd om zelf een hond te nemen, maar word erg gelukkig van de aanwezigheid van dieren en zou daarom graag af en toe oppassen! Woonsituatie: Ik woon met één huisgenoot in de Rivierenbuurt. We wonen op de eerste verdieping (trap), hebben een balkon en verschillende plekken in de buurt om lekker te wandelen.
