Friendly Dog/Cat sitter in Amsterdam

I had 3 years of experience taking care of my dog and cat when I lived at my parents’ place, before that I had experience pet sitting my grandparents’ dog. Now I also have experience pet sitting dogs at my current place for short term (2-3 days) and a bit longer period (3 weeks), and it has been working quite well. When I am spending time with dogs, usually I will take them to parks or somewhere peaceful and full of nature. I will play balls (or their favorite toys) with them, and let them walk/run as much as they want. I always bring a water bottle, wet cleaning paper, and a trash bag with me, so when dogs are thirsty, I can give them water, or when they get dirty, I can clean them with the wet paper, and after they poop, I will pick it up and put it in the trash bag. It’s important to make our little friends feel happy, relaxed, and content, while keeping the environment clean. With cats I am quite experienced, because I spent almost everyday with my cat during Covid. We shared the bed together every night, and I love giving him massages and petting his little belly. I am quite sensitive to cats’ abnormal behaviors, so if anything goes wrong I can notice very fast. I find cats very lovable and healing, and luckily cats usually find me trustworthy. My room is 27 square meters, and I have a big living room, so there will be enough space for cats/dogs. Besides, there is a beautiful park near my place. If you need someone to take care of your pets, I highly recommend myself :)

Ruby was very sweet with Scotty. Took great care of him and sent me reassuring pictures when I left him with her for a couple of days. Would highly recommend her.

Leuke lieve oppas wonend tegenover plantsoen!

Ik ben geboren op dierendag, dus wellicht dat ik daarom zo gek ben op dieren. Maar ook omdar ik ben opgegroeid met heel veel katten en honden. In mijn familie hebben we een aantal generaties Hollandse en Mechelse herders gehad, een Rhodesian, Jack Russell en ik heb zelf vorig jaar mijn hond Raya geadopteerd in Mexico. Omdat ik zelf terugga over een half jaar heb ik besloten om haar daar te laten. In de tussentijd pas ik graag op andere honden en zorg ik graag voor ze. Ik heb Raya zelf veel geleerd en onlangs ook de 7 jarige Mechelse herder van mijn broer aan het stoppen gekregen met trekken aan de riem. Mijn familie en vrienden noemen me altijd de hondenfluisteraar en ik vind het fijn om omringd te zijn door honden, mits natuurlijk goed opgevoed. Dus ik help je graag uit de brand:)

And of course I will sent you photo/video/text updates so you are assured your furry sweetheart has the best time ever. Your dog will be walked at least two to three times a day (depending on how long the sitting lasts). Your pup may be left alone 2 hours max. There are no other pets in my home. I live on the 4th floor and the building has no elevator, so be aware your dog needs to be able to take stairs or is fine with being carried. My home is near the Vondelpark so I am well situated to take your pupper to enjoy some exercise and fresh air. Please, feel free to reach out to me. Het liefst de hele dag knuffelen met hondjes!

Als ik een hond zie lopen, ren ik er het liefst heen om te knuffelen. Dat vinden de baasjes niet altijd even leuk dus oppassen op jouw viervoeter lijkt me zo leuk! Toen ik bij mijn ouders woonde, hadden we een ontzettend lieve Golden Retriever, en gelukkig zijn er wat vrienden om me heen die een hond hebben. Op deze manier kan ik nog vaker gezellig buiten wandelen met een hondje, maar ook thuis oppassen lijkt me erg leuk. Zo hoeft jouw hond niet thuis te zitten, maar krijgt ‘ie genoeg aandacht én haalt ‘ie af en toe een frisse neus!

Ik hou ontzettend veel van honden

Ik ben opgegroeid met veel dieren om me heen en ik heb altijd honden in huis gehad. Als hondeneigenaar ben ik bekend met veel verschillende hondenrassen van groot tot klein. Toegewijde, liefdevolle oppas

Ik als oppas: Ik vind het heerlijk om met de hond te gaan wandelen, maar geniet ook al van alleen zijn/haar aanwezigheid in huis. Ik hoor graag wat de voorkeuren van de hond zijn zodat ik daarop aan kan passen. Kort over mij: Ik kom oorspronkelijk uit Utrecht. Heb Media&Cultuur gestudeerd in Amsterdam en ben nu aan het werk in de filmwereld. Zelf ben ik opgegroeid met katten, maar heb altijd een liefde voor honden gehad. Momenteel heb ik niet de middelen en tijd om zelf een hond te nemen, maar word erg gelukkig van de aanwezigheid van dieren en zou daarom graag af en toe oppassen! Woonsituatie: Ik woon met één huisgenoot in de Rivierenbuurt. We wonen op de eerste verdieping (trap), hebben een balkon en verschillende plekken in de buurt om lekker te wandelen.

Our pup stayed with Berber for 5 days and came back very happy, clearly having had a good time! Will book again :smiling_face_with_3_hearts:
