Hi there! Leuk dat je mijn profiel bekijkt. Mijn naam is Yannick en ben woonachtig met mijn partner in het mooie Amsterdam. Door ons huidige leven lukt het niet om fulltime een eigen dierenvriend als huisgenoot in huis te hebben, maar gelukkig hebben we met PetBNB een mooie middenweg gevonden! Wij zijn beiden opgegroeid met katten en honden begrijpen als geen ander hoe belangrijk het is om huisdieren een veilig, gezond en gelukkig tijdelijk ‘thuis’ te bieden. Dus, verwacht daarom niets anders dan dagelijkse wandelingen, knuffels, spelletjes en al het andere wat ze nodig hebben om zich thuis te voelen totdat ze weer terug kunnen naar huis met jou! Wat een geweldige ervaren sitter voor onze twee kittens. We moesten het op een korte termijn, maar ook daar was ruimte voor een kennismaking. Twee dagdelen heeft ze voor onze kittens gezorgd. Suicune en Entei hebben zich echt vermaakt ❤️

Hi! I'm Rachel, a 28-year-old opera singer from Montreal, Canada! I moved to Amsterdam three years ago to pursue my master's degree in music and stayed here since! :) During my studies, my part-time job was being a dog sitter and walker, as well as a waitress. I am more at ease in taking care of smaller to medium size dogs, but am still comfortable with big dogs. Important to mention that I have experience with dogs who are dependant or have anxiety as both my dogs have anxiety and are always looking for a cuddle or support. I know what makes them happy, as well as what is too much for them. I adapt very easily to each dog, depending on their needs and qualities. As a free-lancer/self-employed artist, my schedule is very flexible and varies a lot depending on the job contracts, offers, auditions I get. This is a good thing; it means I am free quite often, but it also means that my availability can change from time to time, randomly, as I am not always aware of when I will get an offer! I just absolutely adore dogs. Me and Doggo's is magic. You will encounter me walking Desie everywhere in the neighborhood cuddling 73.2% of every puppers I encounter. I am available to have your dog stay over during the day, the night. I can come to your place in central Amsterdam & de Pijp to watch & walk your dog for the day and the night. Downside is for sleepovers I have to bring my dog along, so that may be awkward. I can't travel super long distances, speifically during cold weather. That means that during summer I can operate primarily 1072 postal code regions, in summers *maybe & adjacent*. That means I am mostly available in or near de Pijp. I most certainly won't ship to Noord, Almere or Purmerend to walk doggo. The notion abhors me :) I can visit your house or stay the night walking or biking distance from de Pijp. I can host a dog that's compatible with Desie, inside my apartment. Desie is a female (neutered) Bull Terrier and . very agreeable towards other dogs. IF I stay the night or spend hours at YOUR place, I will have to bring Desie with me. I can NOT host cats. I postively adore cats but Desie adores them as a form of hissing snack. As a particularly illustrative - i have a lot of experience with tame rats. This may be an option, but who would pay "for someone to watch a bunch of rats" ? I would like to evolve experience taking care of avids, such as crows, ravens, birds if prey - but that would a major undertaking. Parrots and such, I guess maybe...? In thirty five years I owned three french bulldogs, three white canadian shepherd, three bull terriers. I profess to having a very deep and sincere bond with nearly all dogs. Until later this year I work from home - and my involvement with PetBnB may move. I likely move houses december-february.

I prefer smaller dogs as I live in an apartment. I am great with taking care of dogs as I had many dogs throughout my life. I walk them often, play with them, keep them entertained and do further enriching activities. I know how to approach dogs and make them less anxious about changing environments. No preferences on breeds. I would also preferably dog sit on the weekends but I am very flexible. My boyfriend also lives with me so if I am not available the dog would never be alone. Hello! We are April and Duke. We live in Almere with our 3-year-old female west highland terrier- Westie. We live on the ground floor of a apartment building with a fenced large yard (70sqm). Our Westie uses it for potty breaks, chilling in the sun and zoomies. I mainly work from home so my time is quite flexible. Pelin was fantastic with Yuzu - diligent about asking and noting down all information incl. Yuzu's health related information. Pelin took him for regular and long walks, made treats for him, had smart-games/toys for him and send regular pictures. It was evident that she loved Yuzu and took good care of him. I give her 10 out of 5 stars :)

City centre sitter with dachshund

Hi there! My name is Joppe, and I live on a boat in the city centre if Amsterdam together with my girlfriend. Kees is out permanent roommate, he’s a mini dachshund who loves to play in Vondelpark everyday and make new friends. About myself, I’m an analyst that often works from home and through social media and group chats I see a lot of people struggling to find a sitter for their pet. While working at home I usually walk Kees every 2-3 hours, while going to dog parks almost everyday for a least 30 min. I’ve taken care of a few dogs before, and when taking them anywhere I make sure to but a tracking device on them (better be safe than sorry!). If your dog needs to stay overnight, that won’t be an issue as there is plenty of space here on the boat. Regarding this, no person of dog had ever fallen in the water - but just to be sure we always put the dogs life jackets on. Regarding your dog, my only wish is that he/she is comfortable being picked-up and being friendly to other dogs. The rest I can manage! Looking forward meeting you and your dog!
