Het lijkt me leuk om te mogen zorgen voor uw hond en buiten te wandelen, te spelen, en te knuffelen (als zij dat ook willen natuurlijk!). Ik ben als student nog heel flexibel in mijn beschikbaarheid en zeer zorgvuldig in mijn planning zodat ik genoeg tijd kan maken voor jouw maatje :) Ik heb vroeger met mijn ouders een oude belgische herder uit het asiel in huis genomen om hem een leukere plek te geven tot zijn overlijden. Ik werkte destijds ook als vrijwilliger in het asiel bij de honden. Mijn opa had ook altijd een hond en ik vind het erg leuk om met honden te werken en hun persoonlijkheid beter te leren kunnen. Ik woon in Amsterdam Oost vlakbij park Frankendael op de begane grond, dus ook honden die moeite hebben met trappen zouden hier langs kunnen komen.

Ruby came by for an introduction a week ago and stayed in our house this weekend to take care of the cats and dog, she did a wonderful job, even though the dog is not easy, she is a puller and loves to chase birds, but Ruby managed really well! Hello there! After exploring different paths, I realized that my heart has always been with animals, so I decided to follow my childhood dream of working with them. I’m now a Clinical Animal Behavior student, and I couldn’t be more excited to turn something I love so much into my future career. I also volunteer at DOA, the largest animal shelter in the Netherlands, where I work with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds and personalities. I grew up on a farm in the north of the Netherlands, surrounded by animals from day one. We had a dog, several cats, chickens, a rabbit, sheep, and even a donkey. I've also done horse riding and I still go riding whenever I'm on holiday. Leuke lieve oppas wonend tegenover plantsoen!

Ik ben geboren op dierendag, dus wellicht dat ik daarom zo gek ben op dieren. Maar ook omdar ik ben opgegroeid met heel veel katten en honden. Ik ben gek op honden!

Ik ben Melissa, 28 jaar oud, woon bij hoofddorplein en heb bij mijn ouders altijd een Duitse Herder gehad waar ik gek op was. Daarnaast heb ik via Petbnb een paar maanden drie keer per week de hond uitgelaten met veel plezier, totdat ik mijn eerste fulltime baan had werd het teveel. Ik werk als basisschoolleerkracht op een Montessorischool, maar naast het lesgeven word ik ontzettend blij van dieren. Mijn vriend is daarentegen een echte Amsterdammer, dat hoor je inderdaad niet vaak he? 😉 Ik haal ontzettend veel voldoening, ontspanning en geluk uit dieren en honden in het bijzonder. Tegelijkertijd help ik graag anderen en weet ik uit eigen ervaring hoe fijn het is als je iemand kunt vinden die met liefde en vertrouwen voor je dier zorgt. Een extra zakcentje is daarbij natuurlijk mooi meegenomen! Ik heb eigenlijk altijd honden en andere dieren om me heen gehad en inmiddels behoorlijk wat ervaring met het opvoeden en trainen van honden.
