I grew up surrounded by animals, especially cats and dogs, and have always loved spending time with them, whether going for walks, playing or simply cuddling. I have a playful Labrador of my own, so I am used to plenty of energy, games and affection! Back home, I also regularly took care of cats in my neighbourhood, making sure they were happy, comfortable and well looked after. ~ Het zilveren mandje ~ Met kennis van dieren-EHBO

[English version below] Wij (mijn man, een zoon uit 2008 en een dochter uit 2011 en ik) vangen graag uw hond(en) op. Omdat we geen dieren van verschillende baasjes opvangen is uw hond verzekerd van een behandeling op maat. We kunnen ons aanpassen zoals uw hond het thuis gewend is, zodat de overgang minder groot wordt. Verder is het goed om te weten dat ik honden uitsluitend aangelijnd uitlaat. Zelf hebben we nooit honden gehad maar we hebben sinds de oprichting in 2018 al op meer dan 100 verschillende honden gepast: 1 groot feest :) Ik heb verschillende boeken gelezen over hondengedrag/lichaamstaal en hoe een hond gelukkig te maken. We hebben diverse hondenspeelgoed, knuffels, voer- en waterbakken in huis. Ik werk zelf parttime freelance vanuit huis en heb alle tijd om uw hond de aandacht te geven die hij of zij verdiend! In 2023 zijn we naar Saendelft (Assendelft) verhuisd, waar het heerlijk wandelen is met honden. De wijk wordt omzoomd door een dijk waar verder geen verkeer is en dus naar hartenlust gesnuffeld kan worden. Daar neem ik dan ook graag de tijd voor! ;) In 2026 heb ik de cursus EHBO voor huisdieren met goed gevolg afgrond. Hierdoor ben ik staat om: * Vermoedelijke botbreuken bij huisdieren te herkennen en hier correct op te reageren * Teken te voorkomen, verwijderen en de risico's in te schatten * Ogen veilig uit uitspoelen bij lichte oogirritaties * Kleine oorbeschadigingen te behandelen en een tijdelijk verband aan te brengen * Een tourniquet te gebruiken om ernstige bloedingen te stoppen * Een geïmproviseerde muilkorf voor een hond te maken * Een tijdelijk pootverband aan te leggen * Een klinisch onderzoek uit te voeren Nieuw! Sinds kort leggen we ook huisbezoeken af voor katten, konijnen, vogels, reptielen, knaagdieren en vissen. We hebben 19 jaar lang een kat gehad, die helaas overleden is in 2026. Verder hebben we hamsters, gerbils, konijnen en een aquarium gehad. Het is ook mogelijk knaagdieren, reptielen, vogels en konijnen bij ons te laten logeren in hun eigen verblijf, zodat ze voldoende aandacht krijgen en zelf vinden wij dit ook een stuk gezelliger! We kunnen hier een apart ruimte voor reserveren zodat ze niet in aanraking komen met eventueel aanwezige honden. Let op: we passen niet op honden jonger dan 1 jaar, op zogenaamde hoog risico honden, wel ben ik bereid om deze honden uit te laten. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We (my husband, a son born in 2008, a daughter born in 2011, and I) are happy to look after your dog(s) and cat(s). Because we do not care for animals from different owners, your dog or cat is assured of personalized care. We can adapt to what your pet is used to at home, so that the transition is less abrupt. Furthermore, it is good to know that I only walk dogs on a leash. We have never owned dogs ourselves, but since the start in 2018, we have looked after over 100 different dogs: one big party :) I have read various books on dog behavior/body language and how to make a dog happy. We have various dog toys, plush toys, and food and water bowls in the house. I work part-time freelance from home and have all the time to give your animal the attention he or she deserves! In 2023, we moved to Saendelft (Assendelft), where it is wonderful to walk dogs. The neighborhood is bordered by a dike with no traffic, so dogs can sniff around to their heart's content. I am happy to take the time for that! ;) In 2026, I successfully completed the First Aid course for pets. This enables me to: * Recognize suspected bone fractures in pets and respond correctly * Prevent and remove ticks and assess the risks * Safely rinse eyes in case of minor eye irritation * Treat minor ear injuries and apply a temporary bandage * Use a tourniquet to stop severe bleeding * Make an improvised muzzle for a dog * Apply a temporary paw bandage * Perform a clinical examination New! We now also offer home visits for cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, rodents, and fish. We owned a cat for 19 years, who sadly passed away in 2026. Over the years, we have also kept hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, and an aquarium. It is also possible for rodents, reptiles, birds, and rabbits to stay with us in their own enclosures; this ensures they receive plenty of attention, and we find it much more enjoyable, too! We can set aside a separate space for them so that they do not come into contact with any dogs that might be present. Please note: we do not sit dogs younger than 1 year old, or so-called high-risk dogs; however, I am willing to walk these dogs.

Hey there, I'm Eva, an expat who has been living in Amsterdam for over 10 years. I live at the Westerpark area (close to Nassaukade tram stop) and I work primarily from home. I really miss is having pets, as I grew up with dogs and various other animals, many of which were strays or rescued from shelters. During the beginning of the pandemic, I brought a senior dog in need from abroad, whom I fostered for nearly a year. This experience woke up my desire to share my life with furry companions! Unfortunately, my frequent travels and living in my own do not allow me to be the dog parent I aspire to be just yet, providing the life and stability that a pet deserves. Kynologisch Instructeur biedt 5 sterren + opvang

Aan aandacht geen te kort. Ik ben opgeleid tot kynologisch instructeur. Heb een enorme passie voor elk dier. In deze tijden werken veel mensen, maar zo een beestje heel de dag alleen thuis, daar is vaak niets aan. Plezier en vertrouwen staan bij mij voorop. Ook jouw hond of kat heeft recht op een leuke plezierige dag. En dat geef ik hem / haar graag in huiselijke sfeer. Wij hebben geen honden of katten in huis (wel twee vogeltjes), maar zijn enorm gek op dieren. Als jouw hondje bij ons in de dagopvang komt dan zal er aan aandacht geen tekort zijn. We zullen regelmatig een wandeling maken en lekker spelen. Wij wonen dicht bij weiland en uitlaat gebied, waar er ook veel andere honden komen. Als jouw hondje mee mag in de auto (en niet te groot is, i.v.m. kleine auto) vinden wij het ook heel leuk om hem/haar mee te nemen naar het park. In het weekend gaan we ook graag naar het bos of strand. Dus als hij/zij mee kan is dat natuurlijk super gezellig! Mijn twee zoons vinden het ook fantastisch op de knuffelen en lekker te spelen. Kortom jouw hondje zal de dag van zijn leven hebben bij ons. Een dagje 'pretpark' vol lol, plezier en voldoende rustmomenten. Heb je een wat angstig dier, voor mij geen probleem. Dat vertrouwen bouwen we wel op. Geef dit wel aan, want jouw hond heeft net even andere behoeftes waar we rekening mee gaan houden. Ik heb veel ervaring met dieren, heb de opleiding afgerond tot kynologisch instructeur en ben jarenlang vrijwilliger geweest op de dierenambulance. Hoewel ik ruim acht jaar op de dienambulance heb gereden, is het goed om te weten dat de dierenambulance een vervoerder is en géén eerste hulp. Geven van medicatie is geen probleem. Dient de medicatie te worden ingespoten met een naald, ben ik bereid dit te leren van jou. Mijn kinderen zijn ook dol dieren en die willen ook wel eens graag eens een rondje meelopen. Het is fijn als je het aangeeft als jou hond dat niet prettig zou vinden. Qua dagen en tijden ben ik heel flexibel. Wel moet ik rekening houden met schooltijden. Ik neem jouw hond dan graag mee naar school om de kinderen op te halen. Kan dit niet, geeft het ajb aan. Last minute? Er kan altijd opeens wat gebeuren waardoor je in ene omhoog zit met je trouwe viervoeter. Neem zeker even contact met mij op. Er valt (bijna) altijd wel een mouw aan te passen. Ik reageer altijd snel. Het is fijn als er tijd is om vooraf even kennis met elkaar te maken. Maar zit je echt enorm omhoog (bijvoorbeeld wanneer je plots naar het ziekenhuis toe moet of iets anders) schroom dan niet dit te bespreken met mij. Hier komen we absoluut uit. Onze tuin zit aan het water. Deze is aan twee kanten goed afgesloten met een hek, maar aan de slootkant is het open. Daarom is het wel handig te weten of jouw hond hiermee om kan gaan. Springt hij gelijk in het water (ook niet altijd een probleem), blijft hij liever aan de kant staan. Of gaat hij/zij alleen het water in als je aangeeft dat het mag. Goed om te weten ;-) Voorheen hadden we een hek voor het water, maar omdat onze kinderen nu hun zwemdiploma hebben en enorm gek zijn op vissen, hebben we het hek recentelijk verwijderd. In huis is jouw hondje volledig vrij. Mag lekker gaan en staan waar hij wil en over de bank leggen we een kleedje waar hij lekker op kan liggen, als hij graag op de bank gaat. Jouw hond zal ook zijn eigen plekje krijgen, waar hij lekker tot rust kan komen. Het is wel handig om zijn eigen voer, eventueel mandje en een speeltje mee te geven.

Frits heeft afgelopen dagen voor het eerst gelogeerd bij Cinderella en het was perfect. Hij was relaxed en vrolijk toen ik hem op kwam halen hij had het duidelijk prima gehad! Cinderella geeft volle aandacht, snapt honden perfect en het voelde meteen vertrouwd. Kom zeker terug!

A few things about my parenting style - my curiosity of dog psychology and my will to be a better mom to Milu lead me into long hours reading and researching all topics regarding behavior and psychology, nutrition, exercises and training and well as the specific needs of different breeds. I bring love, patience, understanding and curiosity about the intricacies of each breed and character. What brings me here is how much I miss my little girl! Unfortunately I lost her to a heart condition and while I still find it painful, losing her and to balm down my wounds, I think caring for and receiving a little bit of love here and there would also make me very very happy! We had a great experience with Cristina! There was an instant connection between her and Ivy, and Ivy clearly felt very comfortable with her. Amrita has took great care of our dog! She is a really nice and kind person with a genuine interest for the dogs. Karmen,our dog, immediately liked her and she was really enjoying her time with Amrita. I appreciated the communication style of Amrita, who was sharing with me everyday multiple videos and photos of Karmen, this was really helpful as this has been the first time we leave our dog to a petsitter. Lastly, Karmen is an elderly dog with medical needs and specific dietary and Amrita cooperated outstanding. I would definitely recommend her services if you want your dog to be happy and safe!

Meeting your pet’s needs with empathy and care

I have been a dog owner myself, as well as I have volunteered in an animal shelter for 2 years, so I am incredibly fond of dogs, cats and all other kinds of pets. As I am now a student who has moved away from home (so away from my family pets as well), I miss having animals around a lot. Additionally, since I’ve encountered all sorts pets in all sorts of states and traits, I take the time to introduce myself first, figure out the animal’s needs and only then move further with the care. I have 7 years of experience in taking care of dogs and cats, including the experience at the shelter. I have no preference for pets I sit, as well as I am rather flexible with my schedule - I can be available mornings, afternoons and evenings. I am a loving, gentle and caring sitter, described as "the one that has a way with animals." I find walking and/or sitting them genuinely pleasurable, so I always try to make the visits as warm as possible. Nonetheless, I am aware of the responsibility such care entails and make sure to do everything in my power to avoid any kind of negligence. When petsitting/boarding, I send regular photo updates, don’t leave the animals alone (unless allowed), walk them 3x a day and let them wander freely but safely around the apartment. I walk them regularly to provide toilet breaks as needed, but in cases of little accidents inside the apartment, I make sure to clean it up and generally to keep the pets in safe and higienic conditions. In addition to the > 15 minute walks, pets receive plenty of play time to fulfil their physical activity needs. I remain in consistent communication with the owners and feed/walk/provide medication/etc as instructed by the owners. I also spoil the pets with snacks, if allowed:) Fresh water is always available, as well food is provided as required by the owners. I try to stick to petsitting one animal at a time due to the stress different pets may cause to each other, but if allowed by the owners, I am always happy to sit a few animals at once. In case of an emergency, I will bring the pets to the vet or act in any other required manner as indicated by the owners. When dog walking, I take at least 30 minutes, keep my copy of the key safely, always check if everything is secured before leaving, dress the pet in provided attire if needed, carry the pets up/down the stairs if needed as well. During house visits, I spend at least an hour with the pets, playing with them and making sure they’re fed, walked and happy. I am also happy to house sit if that is preferred by the owners. If agreed in accordance with my schedule, I can house sit for an indefinite time. When house sitting, I always double check if everything is locked/turned off before leaving and/or night time. According to my regular clients, their pets are always excited to come back to my place - hope that would be the case with your pets as well:)

Ik zorg met veel liefde voor jouw hond of kat!

Hoi! Ik ben Anne, 30 jaar, en woon in de Rivierenbuurt in Amsterdam in een ruim appartement van 88 m2 incl groot balkon. Hoewel het op dit moment niet past in mijn leven om 24/7 een hond of kat te hebben, lijkt het me ontzettend fijn en waardevol om wél wat meer honden en katten in mijn leven te hebben — bijvoorbeeld door op te passen of af en toe een fijne wandeling te maken. Ik wordt namelijk altijd zo blij van honden en katten. Ik werk veel vanaf huis dus ben erg flexibel en heb veel tijd om met veel liefde te zorgen voor jouw hond/kat. Ik heb ruime ervaring met honden van vrienden en familie, en ben opgegroeid met katten, dus ik weet hoe belangrijk het is dat een dier zich veilig en op zijn gemak voelt. Een warme thuis voor jouw hond of kat 💕

Ik ben een echte dierenliefhebber! Helaas kan ik momenteel zelf geen dier adopteren omdat ik te veel reis. Dat vind ik ontzettend jammer, dus daarom lijkt het me heel leuk om af en toe op iemand anders zijn hond of kat te passen. Van huis uit heb ik altijd dieren gehad, waaronder een Duitse herder, een rottweiler, een Maltezer en meerdere katten. Daardoor ben ik gewend aan verschillende karakters en behoeften. Daarnaast pas ik regelmatig op de hond van mijn zus, een rescue uit Spanje. Ik werk voor mezelf vanuit huis, waardoor ik veel aanwezig ben. Dat maakt mijn huis ook geschikt voor diertjes die niet zo graag lang alleen zijn. Ik houd zowel van korte als lange wandelingen en neem honden, afhankelijk van hun karakter, graag mee op pad. Natuurlijk is er thuis ook genoeg tijd om te spelen, knuffelen of gewoon lekker te ontspannen. Daarnaast heb ik een fijn tuintje waar honden en katten lekker kunnen relaxen als het mooi weer is. Mensen omschrijven mij als rustig, warm en zorgzaam. Wat je van mij kunt verwachten? Veel liefde en aandacht voor je dier, regelmatige updates en foto’s, en de geruststelling dat je huisdier in goede handen is. Ik plan vooraf altijd graag even een kennismaking in, zodat we kunnen kijken of er een goede match is. Voor de rest woon ik op 40m² met een tuin, dus voor hele grote honden is mijn woning waarschijnlijk minder geschikt. Goed om te weten: omdat ik op de begane grond woon, hoor je soms geluiden uit het trappenhuis. Daarom is mijn woning minder geschikt voor honden die erg waaks zijn of snel aanslaan bij geluiden. Voor vragen mag je altijd contact opnemen! 🐾

Shamira took really good care of Henri. He had plenty of exercise, was very well looked after, and came back home happy and relaxed. She also sent us daily updates with pictures and videos, which was really nice and reassuring. We would definitely recommend her!

Hello! My name is Zuzanna, I work as a freelance Sustainability Manager, and study at VU. I love animals for their pride, independence, and intelligence. Some dogs are more interesting than humans! It is fascinating how their persoonalities differ from one to another. For my whole life, there was at least one cat at home. Since I moved to the Netherlands, I miss my beloved Borys, Zofia and Burszyk which live with my parents back in Poland. I am very active and love going for runs and playing games when I get very active dogs that, in order to enjoy their day and then sleep well, need to exercise a lot throughout the day. If on the other hand, it's a more of a grown up doggie that needs some peace and quiet we will just watch some movies together and enjoy chill walks, at our own pace. I will be glad to pet and hug the cuddling-type dogs, but I also respect the reserved individualists ;) I am quite flexible with time and length of a visit/walks. Communication is key, let me know what you need and I'm sure we can arrange something! And I can give you as many updates throughout the day as you wish.

Hi All, My name is Zsofia, living in Zaandam for about 10 years and having my own dog, Luna (a gorgeous Hungarian shepherd dog, spayed, female, 6 years old). Hi, my name is Jana :) I am a 28-year-old woman living in de Baarsjes in Amsterdam West. I originally come from the Czech Republic from a small town called Zlin. I love taking care of dogs as well as cats and overall being around animals ever since I was a small child. As for your dog pets, I enjoy going for long walks and teaching them some simple tricks, such as to sit or to lay down. De flexibele oppas voor jullie!

Hallo baasjes! Wij zijn dochter Ivy (9) en mama Linde (46) en wonen in het groenrijke Purmerend Ik of wij laten uw hond 3 a 4 keer per dag uit en houden van lange wandelingen te maken. We passen ook regelmatig op aan huis zodat u huisdieren lekker thuis kunnen blijven in hun eigen omgeving. We gaan vaak naar het park hier om de hoek en het Purmerbos, want daar is het heerlijk om te wandelen! Heel veel groen en leuk met andere honden. We vinden het fijn om vantevoren met elkaar een keer af te spreken om te kijken of het tussen ons klikt en u kan zien waar u hond verblijft of waar wij verblijven.. Maar dat is naar ieder wens in te vullen. Wat voor hond maakt ons niet uit, als het maar met een kind kan omgaan. Ik werk veel vanuit huis (maatschappelijk werker) en dus veel aandacht voor u hond.. spelen, knufffelen en lekker naar buiten Soms moet ik naar een afspraak en moet u hond wel 2 a 3 uurtjes alleen kunnen. Bij ons kan je de hond ook gerust achterlaten of wij bij jullie thuis als je op vakantie gaat, en hoeft het niet in een kennel waar het vaak koud en vies is.. Bij ons kan het lekker verblijven in een huiselijke sfeer en is er dus veel aandacht. uitlaten alleen doen we ook graag en halen u hond dan op en heeft hij een superleuke wandeling met ons en komt dan weer voldaan thuis! Als u een kat heeft of een anders dier dan verzorgen wij die aan huis ook graag.. want deze dieren hebben ook zorg nodig als u moet werken of op vakantie gaat! Heeft u nog vragen, bericht mij gerust en wie weet tot snel Wij hebben tijd als u geen tijd heeft en bieden u hond veel liefde en regelmaat toe Tot snel!!!

Linde heeft een dochter van 5 jaar en een chihuahua van 12 jaar. Ze geeft haar oppashondjes dezelfde liefdevolle aandacht die ze haar eigen kind en hondje geeft. Linde neemt haar oppashondjes ook mee met de auto voor heerlijke lange wandelingen in parken, strand en bossen (in weer en wind). Linde is duidelijke de leider van de roede en wordt door de oppashondjes geaccepteerd en door de baasjes gewaardeerd. Daarnaast is Linde zeer flexibel in haar oppastijden, denkt mee en is oplossingsgericht. Kortom, ik kan haar zeer aanbevelen 👍
