Hi! My name is Sofia, I am originally from Uruguay and I live in Amsterdam West. Dogs have always been a big part of my life. Back home I have three dogs, Fausto, Lolo and Corto. They are my family and I miss them every day, which is one of the reasons I love doing pet sitting here in Amsterdam. In the past two years I have taken care of several dogs in the city, with different sizes, breeds and personalities. Hondenoppas westerpark

Hi, Ik ben al van kleins af aan opgegroeid met een hond in ons gezin. Daarna heb ik vaak zelf nog opgepast op honden van buren of vrienden. Ik woon naast Westerpark in Amsterdam en hou ervan om buiten te zijn. Als ik oppas dan ga ik vaak 3/4 keer wandelen, waarvan één lange wandeling van minstens een uur in het park. Het liefst pas ik op grote honden, maar kleine honden zijn ook welkom. Ik pas op één hond per keer dus jouw hond krijgt de volle aandacht van mij! De hond mag overal in huis komen en ook op een kleed op de bank slapen.

I have had a labrador for the past 7 years. Taking care of her has been a part of my daily life for years. I moved to Netherlands 3 years ago for university and have been missing the time I got to spend with her and interacting with any dog in general. This is why i want to be a dog sitter or walker. I allways loved playing catch and going on walks with my dog but I also love the more chill time we would spend cuddling on the couch and watching tv. I am also aware that some dogs might take a while to warm up to new people and can prefer to keep their distance. Huisdieren liefhebber!

Van jongs af aan ben ik opgegroeid met honden en katten. Van een puberende meubilair opetende Saarlooswolfshond, rondrennende Bordercollie tot geadopteerde hondjes uit diverse landen. Niks is voor mij te gek. Ik hou ontzettend van wandelen en doe dat natuurlijk liever met een hond erbij. Naar het park, op het strand, noem maar op. I had my own dog till 2025 November, currently looking for the right timing to have my new family 🐕 I hosted more than 30 pets in Singapore during 2022-2023, more than 50 pets in Amsterdam since 2023 May including 5 long term foster cares. -SERVICE 🎖️ I will offer dog boarding and day care. My house is just bellow Westerpark, also close to a small park near my house. I normally walk your dog 3 times-every morning, at lunchtime, and at night time to either of the park. If your dog needs more often short walk I will adjust for it. Feeding will be on schedule and I have experience of medication feeding too. For home visit and dog walking, I will only offer if the location is near my residence area. -BOARDING ENVIRONMENT 🏠 I work from home everyday as Project Manager of IT software. I live alone and my house has living room + 1 dining room + 1 bedroom. There are multiple dog beds. So enough space and calm envrionment for your best mates. And the home is very close to westerpark for long walk ! While I have a dog visitor, for less than 3 days I will be at home the whole time except an errand about an hour occasionally. For more than 4 days, I can't promise to stay the house all the time. I may be out from home few hours (less than 5hours), but I will make sure the environemnt is safe and comfortable to them. Maximum dogs number in the house at the same time will be 3 for over night, 4 for day care. Also I am very flexible with drop off and pick up times, as well as stay extention. I am looking forward to seeing your floff family!

Grote dierenvriend met veel liefde over

Mijn naam is Jiska en zolang ik mij kan herinneren is mijn liefde en passie voor dieren heel groot! Vanaf kleins af aan hadden wij al katten bij mijn ouders thuis, waar nu nog steeds een rode rakker genaamd Bowie rondloopt. De liefde voor andere dieren was er altijd ook al, en is ook de grootste reden waarom ik voor al m’n vrienden en vriendinnen de oppas voor hun huisdieren ben. De dieren waar ik vooral op pas zijn dan ook katten en honden. De liefde voor honden werd nóg groter toen mijn schoonouders een labradoodle kregen. Toen kwam ik er achter wat voor onvoorwaardelijke liefde zo’n beestje je kan geven. En daarnaast ook nog eens gezelligheid & vrolijkheid. Met alle liefde passen wij vaak genoeg op deze lieve doodle genaamd Otis. Helaas wonen wij in een appartement en zijn wij nog onregelmatig van huis waardoor wij (nog) geen dieren kunnen hebben. Ik mis dus een beetje dierenliefde en pas ik graag op die van jou! En ik wandel graag… Wat is er leuker om dat met een harig maatje te doen?

I completed my master’s degree at an art university in the Netherlands and now work as a designer and freelancer.
