Golden and Doodle lover; calm yet active

Hello, I honestly have no experience raising a dog but I'd like to become a dog sitter because I'm considering to get a dog. I mostly work from home with flexible hours so I can walk your dog in the morning, during lunch or in the afternoon. I'm a runner so I can also take your dog to my 5km run if he/she is active enough. The area where I live is very green with lots of dogs which is perfect for socialization with other dogs and other dog owners, as well as outdoor activities. I prefer golden retriever or labradoodle or goldendoodle - those with calm, gentle energy but still a bit active outdoor.

Doggies’ Best Friend in Amsterdam!

Hi! It’s Clara, Italian living in Amsterdam :) My little Maya, a 12-year-old Jack Russell Terrier, taught me patience and unconditional love for animals. During these 12 years caring for her with my mom, I learned to understand her and all her needs with just one tail shake or gaze (even though she is learning to speak Italian :) ). Since I moved to the Netherlands for my studies in 2022, she now lives with my mom, but I facetime her everyday :). I also used to look after my boyfriend’s cats, who were definitely more independent than a dog but I was still constantly present for all their needs. Enthousiaste en toegewijde oppas!

Ik heb vanaf mijn 5e tot 17e jaar een hond gehad en deze ook uitgelaten, meegegaan naar puppy training en voor gezorgd. Dit was een mini bull terrier, een hond met karakter :). Ik kan goed omgaan met honden en vind het geweldig om ervoor te zorgen! Ik heb zelf momenteel helaas geen tijd om een eigen hond te nemen. Gelukkig heb ik de mogelijkheid om thuis te werken. Hond-kat liefhebber

Ik heb verschillende keren voor de honden van mijn vrienden gezorgd, ik begreep ze op het juiste moment, we gingen lange wandelingen maken of gewoon ontspannen op de bank, er was altijd veel liefde tussen ons. Ik heb gezorgd voor honden van de rassen vizsla, Duitse herder, spaniël, mopshond, staffordshire terriër, bulldog. We kunnen het net zo goed vinden met katten, maar ik heb nog niet de kans gehad om toezicht op ze te houden. I am an objective person, I like any hairy pet either cat or dog! I am experienced at taking care of cats as I have my own cat back to my hometown. I know their secrets spots of them to make them feel comfortable. I have experiences taking care of dogs(labrador; corgi) as well, I will walk them every morning and evening, playing around with their favorite toy (balls/sticks)! and make sure they run enough and eat healthy enough!
