Ruby came by for an introduction a week ago and stayed in our house this weekend to take care of the cats and dog, she did a wonderful job, even though the dog is not easy, she is a puller and loves to chase birds, but Ruby managed really well! Shelter Dogs | Animal Behaviour Student

Hello there! After exploring different paths, I realized that my heart has always been with animals, so I decided to follow my childhood dream of working with them. I’m now a Clinical Animal Behavior student, and I couldn’t be more excited to turn something I love so much into my future career. I also volunteer at DOA, the largest animal shelter in the Netherlands, where I work with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds and personalities. Ik vind het ontzettend leuk om op huisdieren te passen en ervoor te zorgen dat ze zich veilig, geliefd en comfortabel voelen. Ik heb ervaring met het oppassen op honden en vind het heerlijk om met ze te wandelen, te spelen en ze veel aandacht te geven. Ons doel is dat jij met een gerust hart van huis kunt, terwijl jouw huisdier alle aandacht en zorg krijgt die het verdient. Bram is opgegroeid met katten en Kirsten met honden. Doordat we al jaren samen zijn, hebben we ook veel voor elkaars huisdieren gezorgd. Daarnaast hebben we regelmatig opgepast op de huisdieren van familie en collega's. Dat beviel ons zo goed dat we besloten hebben om ons ook via Petbnb aan te melden. Bij ons kun je terecht voor zowel dagopvang als meerdaagse opvang. Of je nu een dag weg bent of meerdere nachten of weken op vakantie gaat, jouw huisdier is van harte welkom om bij ons te komen logeren. We begrijpen dat ieder dier een eigen karakter, routine en behoeften heeft. Daarom leren we jouw huisdier graag eerst kennen en volgen we de verzorging zoals jouw dier die gewend is. Hierdoor is er veel gezelschap en hoeft jouw huisdier zelden lang alleen te zijn. Wij behandelen ieder huisdier alsof het ons eigen dier is. Tijdens het verblijf sturen we graag foto's en updates, zodat je met een gerust hart kunt genieten van je tijd weg. We kijken ernaar uit om jou en je huisdier te ontmoeten!

Alleen maar lovende woorden voor Kirsten en Bram. Mijn vriend en ik gingen 10 dagen op vakantie en wij hebben Mochi met een goed gevoel achtergelaten. Ze komen professioneel over en ik merkte dat ze allebei ervaring en verstand hebben van dieren. Ik heb dagelijks updates gekregen over hoe het met hem ging. Het contact verliep soepel. Leuke lieve oppas wonend tegenover plantsoen!

Ik ben geboren op dierendag, dus wellicht dat ik daarom zo gek ben op dieren. Maar ook omdar ik ben opgegroeid met heel veel katten en honden. In mijn familie hebben we een aantal generaties Hollandse en Mechelse herders gehad, een Rhodesian, Jack Russell en ik heb zelf vorig jaar mijn hond Raya geadopteerd in Mexico. Omdat ik zelf terugga over een half jaar heb ik besloten om haar daar te laten. In de tussentijd pas ik graag op andere honden en zorg ik graag voor ze. Ik ben gek op honden!

Ik ben Melissa, 28 jaar oud, woon bij hoofddorplein en heb bij mijn ouders altijd een Duitse Herder gehad waar ik gek op was. Ik werk als basisschoolleerkracht op een Montessorischool, maar naast het lesgeven word ik ontzettend blij van dieren. Daarom lijkt dit me de perfecte mogelijkheid om meer dieren in mijn leven te hebben en anderen te helpen! Je kunt me altijd benaderen om te kijken wat mogelijk is. Tegelijkertijd help ik graag anderen en weet ik uit eigen ervaring hoe fijn het is als je iemand kunt vinden die met liefde en vertrouwen voor je dier zorgt.
