I prefer smaller dogs as I live in an apartment. I am great with taking care of dogs as I had many dogs throughout my life. I walk them often, play with them, keep them entertained and do further enriching activities. I know how to approach dogs and make them less anxious about changing environments. No preferences on breeds. I would also preferably dog sit on the weekends but I am very flexible. My boyfriend also lives with me so if I am not available the dog would never be alone. Pelin was fantastic with Yuzu - diligent about asking and noting down all information incl. Yuzu's health related information. Pelin took him for regular and long walks, made treats for him, had smart-games/toys for him and send regular pictures. It was evident that she loved Yuzu and took good care of him. We have been dogsitting via various apps for about 3 years now. We live in the proximity of the Rembrandtpark and Vondelpark, the ideal places to walk your pet. In general we will walk your dog 4 times a day, but if preferred otherwise we can accomodate to another routine. In our appartment (incl balcony) your pet is free to roam around, sleep, and play. Since I was young I have a huge passion for animals and I love to play with them, hug them and learn them tricks. My passion expresses itself in binge watching nature documentary, saying hi to every dog / cat who I see outside & visiting every zoo in every city I visit. Over het algemeen lopen we 4x per dag (2x kort, 2x lang) met de hond, maar in overleg is er natuurlijk ook meer of minder mogelijk. In ons ruime appartement (incl balkon) kan de hond vrijuit rondlopen/spelen/slapen. Wij zijn ook bereid medicatie toe te dienen en de vacht te verzorgen (borstelen/wassen etc). Ik heb sinds jongs af aan een ongelooflijke passie voor dieren en vind het prachtig om met dieren te spelen, te knuffelen en trucjes te leren. Deze passie uit zich verder in het binge watchen van natuurdocumentaires, het groeten van elke hond / kat die ik buiten tegenkom & het bezoeken van elke dierentuin in elke stad die ik bezoek. Het lijkt mij enorm gezellig om op jouw trouwe viervoeter te passen. Andere hobby's van mij waar ik veel energie van krijg zijn racefietsen, fitnessen en vogelen. Verder is het goed om te weten dat mijn vriendin altijd een hond heeft gehad toen zij nog bij haar ouders woonde, ikzelf heb ook vaak op de hond(en) van mijn familie gepast. Wij, Carli en Danique, wonen in een heel fijn en koel appartement in Amsterdam-Oost met een tuin! We dromen van een eigen hond, maar willen daar alle tijd voor hebben en in sommige periodes is dat in deze fase van ons leven niet het geval. Vandaar deze gezellige oplossing :) Danique heeft thuis gestreden voor een hond (inclusief PowerPoint om ouders te overtuigen) en heeft vanaf haar 12e, jaren lang met een Border Collie mogen leven. Daarna heeft ze in Amsterdam nog verschillende uitlaat honden 'gehad'. Carli is verzot van honden. Hij haalt op reis alle straathonden aan die we tegenkomen en de liefde is vaak wederzijds. Samen houden we van in de natuur zijn, weekendjes weg met onze camper en zijn beide sportief! p.s. als je twee honden hebt die komen logeren is de prijs zeker overlegbaar!

But I would say I rather feel more comfortable with the small and medium dogs. Since my schedule currently involves only work in an office for some days a week - for a start I would love to just go for a (long) walks or take care of them for a whole day, when I have days off. Hi there! My name is Joppe, and I live on a boat in the city centre if Amsterdam together with my girlfriend. Kees is out permanent roommate, he’s a mini dachshund who loves to play in Vondelpark everyday and make new friends. About myself, I’m an analyst that often works from home and through social media and group chats I see a lot of people struggling to find a sitter for their pet. While working at home I usually walk Kees every 2-3 hours, while going to dog parks almost everyday for a least 30 min. I’ve taken care of a few dogs before, and when taking them anywhere I make sure to but a tracking device on them (better be safe than sorry!). If your dog needs to stay overnight, that won’t be an issue as there is plenty of space here on the boat. Regarding this, no person of dog had ever fallen in the water - but just to be sure we always put the dogs life jackets on. Regarding your dog, my only wish is that he/she is comfortable being picked-up and being friendly to other dogs. The rest I can manage! Looking forward meeting you and your dog!
