Hallo! Wij zijn Karlijn en Niels, 30 en 29 jaar oud. Karlijn werkt bij postNL en Niels heeft zijn eigen kledingmerk. Wij wonen met veel plezier in de Javastraat en het lijkt ons super leuk af en toe een nieuwe vriend over de vloer te hebben. Wanneer een hondje hier op bezoek is zal hij/zij een overdosis aandacht en liefde krijgen. Wij hebben de tijd om veel naar buiten te gaan als de hond hierom vraagt en onze flexibele werkschema’s zorgen ervoor dat we (indien nodig) meerdere dagen thuis kunnen zijn. Beste vrienden van Niels zijn ouders hebben altijd meerdere labradors en teckels gehad waar hij vaak op heeft moesten passen of hele vakanties mee samen was. Hier heeft hij altijd aandachtig geluisterd wat de zorg van een hond vraagt en hier is ook deels de liefde ontstaan. Een eigen hond is voor ons nu geen optie maar een hondje op bezoek af en toe zou ons heel blij maken! Wij kijken enorm uit naar de nieuwe vrienden die we over de vloer gaan hebben!

I got my first dog named Coco when I was fourteen and was somewhat unprincipled and very spoiled. The second dog I adopted a year later. Because I have dogs I couldn't bear to see a puppy living a miserable life, so I bought this puppy from a neighbour who was selling dogs and named him DD. After that it was my family who adopted a stray dog in 2019 and named her Sunny.Sunny is really tame and has recently passed her therapy dog exam and is already able to read with the kids. In 2021, we adopted our first kitten in the family, named "Joey", and she has been living with dogs ever since. Groot, middel of klein, ik vind elk dier fijn!

Altijd heb ik gewoond met katten en/of honden, sinds kort is dit helaas niet meer zo. Ik woon nu in een te klein huis. Ik mis hun gezelschap en daarom wil ik graag gaan oppassen! Ik heb een energieke en vrolijke persoonlijkheid, ik hou van buiten zijn (zelfs als het regent of sneeuwt) en ben op mijn gelukkigst in het gezelschap van een (huis)dier. De laatste jaren heb ik twee katten gehad; Bowie en Karel. Karel is heel actief en houdt van gezelschap, Bowie is wat meer op zichzelf. Het verschil in wat zij nodig hebben is groot, en altijd iets waar ik rekening mee heb gehouden. Bij mijn ouders had ik een hond en kat. Onze hond, Sep, was een Tibetaanse terrier die gered was van een fokker. Hij kon erg agressief zijn naar andere honden, wat voor mij betekende dat ik rustig moest blijven en hem moest kalmeren of omlopen wanneer andere honden in de buurt kwamen. Onze kat was liever buiten dan binnen en kwam soms thuis voor eten of knuffels, maar wel alleen op zijn voorwaarde. Hier heb ik geleerd zijn gedrag te begrijpen en mijn eigen behoeften aan de kant te zetten voor zijn welzijn. Op dit moment heb ik veel tijd en ben ik erg flexibel, elk dier is welkom bij mij!

Hebben nu nog 1 poes van 14 jaar en sinds maart 2023 een zeer sociale, rustige, goed opgevoede, 3 jarige Siberische Husky die ik vanuit de pleeg , ( toen werkend bij een asiel) en training uiteindelijk bij mij is gebleven. Het lijkt mij heerlijk om in een andere mooie omgeving voor een lieve andere sociale hond ( en ) te zorgen, mits ik Zoya ,mijn Siberische Husky mee kan/mag nemen.Samen te wandelen, te spelen en genieten van de omgeving ( mogen ook andere dieren bij zijn natuurlijk :)) Eind 2019 aan werk gegaan als vrijwilliger bij een dierenasiel op de honden afdeling. Begin van Corona, was ik daar zo'n 3 tot 4x p.w.en hielp de kennels schoonmaken, wandelen, socialiseren, trainen van de honden, inwerken nieuwe mensen, ondersteunen vrijwilligers, bijeenkomsten enz. Veel geleerd en meer passie voor de honden gekregen. Hierdoor besloten o.a. een opleiding te volgen tot hondengedragstherapeut Tevens met 8 anderen in dienst geweest als Puppyteam voor 7 maanden In wisseldiensten, 18 Drachtige mama's ondersteund + socialisatie met geboorte van totaal 142 pups en bijkomende werkzaamheden. Een bijzondere en rijke ervaring. Daarna blijven hangen bij het hondenteam zelf. Nu niet meer werkzaam bij het asiel, wel zelf coachen en trainen van honden en mensen. Tevens Sport & Ontspanning therapeut. Daarvoor jaren in evenementen branche gewerkt. Beurzen, congressen, evenementen nat.+Int. Alles zzp, wat mij vooral de laatste jaren zeer flexibel maakt:) Ik hou van de natuur en buiten zijn. Vooral bos,duin,heide. I have a few spots during the week available for your pet! My Partner and me have always had a lot of animals growing up and we continued that trend in our own home. Unfortunately we found ourselves now without a furry friend to come home to. As we love animals, tired dogs especially, we decided to become petsitters for now and channel all that loving energy towards your pets! We have a lot of experience with dogs and cats as we have fostered dogs but also had our own dogs! We used to be the parents of a rescue Pitmix from Spain, who we managed to turn from a rascal to a fullblown cuddlebug. We do not discriminate when it comes to breeds and would love to care for your baby even if they might not have had the best start in life. Untill not too long we were using the services on Petbnb for our own dog, therefore we totally understand how scary it can be to leave your baby with a sitter and also what is expected of us to make it enjoyable for everyone. We love to give frequent updates/pictures to share how your pet is doing. Now for the house, we have an enclosed garden with a seperate entrance, so muddy paws are no issue! We have sun from 12:00 to 19:00, so most lazy dogs usually choose to follow the sun throughout the day in our garden. On top of that we live right next to Rembrandpark and always do a big lap per day. Our normal schedule is a walk at 9:00 and a walk at 15:00. I am also a keen and enthusiastic cuddler of all cute animals- a service I can provide at no additional cost to you. We'll make sure to treat everyone like we would our own and make it so they'll feel at home <3 Services: -Boarding and House Sitting: I would be available between the hours of 16.00-10.00am and the rate is per night. -Day care: Includes one 45 minute - 1 hour long walk and a pee break. Hours would be between Additionally walks, runs, or hikes in Oeverlanden or Amsterdamse Bos can be discussed upon request as I do have a pooch mobile. -Walks: My walk rates are based on 45 minute sessions. Be mindful that I live right next to an off leash dog park, therefore this might not be the best place to stay for your dog if they are leash/dog reative. Hey! Me and my very friendly and social Cockapoo are always excited to have other dogs join us. As with my own dog, I will make sure your dog is safe and happy with us for when you return to pick them up. As i do have a dog, I ask that we first meet so i can observe how the dogs get along first. It is very important to me that the dogs are comfortable together and enjoy themselves (both when playing and during rest). So, before any over night requests, let’s first start with a few hours at my place during the day. My home: I live in a doggy proofed apartment next to the Venserpolder metro and Duivendrecht train station with everything a dog might need or want including toys and snacks for days. While here: Nearby by, there are many green spaces (right next to my front door) and a dog walking path is located within a few mins walk away. The are also happens to be an off leash area for dogs to run around (if your dog can be let off leash and has a good recall). So, whether your dog loves to go out for a walk in the woods, run in open fields or sniffing grass, my dog and I are ready to join. For longer stays with me, I will also take the dogs to the beach (Bloomendal) or a bigger green area (Diemen Bos, Amsterdamse Bos, Gasperplas) where they can run freely once or twice a week. I take my dog out for walks every 4-6 hours (happy to adjust as needed for your dog). Text me if you have any questions for me or if you have any unique requirements your dog may need.

My dog Toni had a great day with Gautham and his dog Coco. Also de communication was very good. I'd be happy to leave Toni with them again sometime.
