Hey, My name is Ruddy (35)and I am currently working from home (IT). I live with my partner; Peter (45),(work from the office 4 days a week) in Rotterdam, just 5 minutes walking distance to Het Lage Bergse Bos. Our home is quiet and surrounded by nature. Both of us love dogs and had dogs (Dobermann (in Indonesia), Golden (in Indonesia), and Shih Tsu (deceased due to old age) in the past. We also love to dog sitting our best friend’s dog (see in the picture). We are considering to have our own in the future (fingers crossed)! Since I am working from home, I love to do long walk and/or running during my break and would love to have a companion while doing so. Your “life companion” will not be left alone and will be taken care of like he/she is ours. We will bring him/her for nice (short) long walk daily , have potty breaks at minimum 3 -4 times daily, and unlimited cuddles/play time. Last but not least, we also have our own stock treats (with your permission) for your loved one(s); including for hypoallergenic 🐕! 😋 We only host one dog at a time (unless from the same family) so he/she will get all the attention from us! Ps: 10-15% of the booking will go back to the dog or for the good cause

But if its a slow eating food bowl, please bring it. 2. Maybe 1 toy, but we also have toys. 3. Food ( no need to prepare portions, just write a reminder on a piece of paper how much of what) 4. Some cookies. 5. Bed, or blanket, or cussion. Even your dog sleeps on the floor at home, with us if they see other doggie has a nice bed, they are taking it from them haha. They always get jealous, so please bring at least a blanket, so they can switch. --- About Us Mike and I love animals! In my home country, I was a volunteer working to rescue stray cats and dogs. I have a lot of experience caring for sick cats, pregnant cats, kittens, and puppies. I can give injections to cats, kittens, and dogs if needed, and I have also assisted in cat neutering surgeries. We love dogs of all sizes—small and large. Besides caring for animals, I am a professional musician. I have a diploma as a music teacher, orchestra artist, and ensemble performer. I also have three years of experience teaching music at a school, working with children aged 6 to 16. I come from a family of educators—my mother and grandmother were both teachers. I am currently learning Dutch, but for now, I can only speak English and Russian, and I understand some Dutch. Mike has had dogs since childhood. He can train your dog as well.Most of doggies are falling in love with him within first 5min spending time together. I also promise to follow your recommendations on how to care for your beloved pet! --- Important Notes 1. We take more than one dog. Not always, but during high seasons, we can have multiple guests, just like other pet sitters. However, all guest dogs here are friendly, sweet, and non-aggressive. Conflicts are not allowed, as we live in an apartment, and our neighbors wouldn’t be happy, haha. 2. Dogs can be separated—in different rooms or in the same room with a barrier, ensuring they have their privacy and rest from playing. It depends on each guest’s personality and needs. For example, if two dogs of similar age and size enjoy playing together, why should we stop them from having fun? (Of course, under my supervision!) But if your dog is older and needs more rest than a puppy, we will make sure they can relax away from younger dogs. Our main focus is your dog’s safety, health, and emotional well-being. 3. If you want your dog to become more social, this is the perfect environment! Your pet will be surrounded by friendly dogs who won’t react to irritation or grumpiness. Dogs learn from each other very quickly, becoming more social and overcoming past fears. 4. We live on the second floor. If your dog doesn’t know how to use stairs, you’ll be surprised at how quickly they learn from other dogs! Some even love running up and down, haha. 5. Our apartment is next to two beautiful parks—just a 1-minute walk away. We are also 10 minutes by car from the beach and another large park where dogs can run off-leash (unless they plan to swim!). Per 1 oktober 2026 ben ik (IN OVERLEG) weer beschikbaar voor dagopvang en logeren bij mij thuis.🙏🏻 IK KAN MAX 1 MAAND VOORUITKIJKEN, AANPASSING WEKELIJKS! Omdat ik vanwege mijn onregelmatige baan zelf geen hond kan bezitten is dit uniek en ideaal om te doen aangezien het mes aan 2 kanten snijdt! Ik heb tijd en ruimte genoeg om uw hond goed te leren kennen en echt hond te laten zijn: ze krijgen alle vrijheid en aandacht van mij. Ik ben in het bezit van een groot huis met tuin en een auto om naar het nabijgelegen strand of bos te gaan. Natuurlijk is gewoon lekker rustig thuis blijven ook een optie. Bij u aan huis komen oppassen is binnen een gepaste straal geen probleem: soms is een hond en zeker een kat het liefst en veiligst in zijn/haar eigen huis! Ik ben opgegroeid met honden en katten, ik werk als vrijwilliger in het dierenasiel en privé pas ik op de nodige honden van vrienden. Al uw wensen zijn bespreekbaar, maar staan en vallen allereerst met het vertrouwen, dat er moet zijn tussen mens en dier. Als u vragen heeft, neem gerust contact met me op!

Ik maak al langere tijd gebruik van de diensten van Barbara. Zij kijkt goed naar de behoefte van mijn hond en speelt hier op in. Wanneer ik weet dat zij die dag komt maak ik me geen moment op de dag zorgen; ik weet dat het hoe dan ook goed komt!

As a result, I could have a very flexible schedule and I could work from home to stay with pets. I truly miss having animals around me and would love to spend more time caring for cats and dogs. I noticed that I got a review with very positive content but only 4 paws in rating. I am a bit confused about this. Is it because an accidentally wrong click or something? But no worries I know that I am the best sitter and I take best care of the animals and I reply messages very quick and I update a lot of photos and videos. I give a lot of attention and cuddle them a lot. I speak to them with the softest voice. I follow the instructions well and I am always willing to do more. I love and take care of the animals not just I want a nice review record but I truly love them. I'll be a bit sad if I am gonna miss some adorable animals because of this 4 paws review. No I need 15 more 5-paw reviews to go back to 5-paw 😭 IMPORTANT THINGS FIRST: I usually responde fast, and I appreciate EFFICIENT COMMUNICATION that you can save your time to company your fluffy boys and girls more. We value each other's time. I only speak English. My place is only a 42 m2 appartment with a seperate bedroom. Not a good choice for villa dogs. I live in an apartment. As a result, I can't accept dogs with barking issues. This is a red flag for my neighbors. I usually don't accept dogs with separation anxieties. In special situation you can ask and I can prepare myself. I can only accept one dog at a time. It depends on your preferences that you can state clearly. My recently experience showed that dogs can make friends immediately and enjoy each other. They can calm down or feel relaxed quicker than staying with a sitter alone. However, my family dog doesn't like sharing humans with other dogs. He will be a bit jealous. So it depends. I care about the tidiness of the house in a way that both pets and humans can enjoy a nice living space. I allow pets on sofa and furnitures and on my laps. I would like to cuddle them a lot. As a result, I would clean the paws after each walk using a soft wet wipe in a very gentle way. If your pet doesn't like paws being touched, then I am not a suitable sitter for them. For safety reasons, I don't accept boys and girls who are heavier than 25kg. Otherwise I may have difficulties in unusual situations where I need to carry/lift them. IF YOU ARE STILL INTERESTED IN ME, here is my background: My family has a cream-colored Shiba Inu who is incredibly adorable. I also have hands-on experience caring for a British Shorthair silver shaded cat, whom I looked after for several months while helping a friend. During that time, I was responsible for daily feeding, litter cleaning, and providing companionship, while keeping the cat comfortable and relaxed in its usual routine. Animals have always been an important part of my life. My mom is especially good at caring for animals — from chicks, birds, and rabbits to dogs — and she has always taken excellent care of them. Growing up in that environment, I believe I’ve inherited her patience, sense of responsibility, and genuine love for animals. When babysitting, I focus on following each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. For dogs, this includes regular walks, playtime, and calm interaction based on their energy level. For cats, I respect their personality — whether they enjoy active play or prefer quiet company. I always make sure pets have fresh food and water, a clean environment, and plenty of attention. Before each stay, I’m happy to arrange a visit or meet-up with you and your pets so we can go through any important details together. I truly appreciate it when owners share their pets’ preferences, habits, and routines — every boy and girl is unique, and understanding what they like helps me provide better, more personalized care. I pay close attention to safety, hygiene, and the well-being of each animal, and I’m always willing to adapt my care to different personalities or special needs. We zijn een huishouden met twee volwassenen (Eva & Daniel), een kindje (4 jaar) en twee oudere rescue hondjes (12 en 16 jaar) die graag nieuwe vriendjes willen maken. We wonen in een rijtjeshuis met een tuin waar de hondjes lekker in het zonnetje kunnen liggen. We hebben veel spelletjes (balletjes, snuffelmat, touwen) en we houden van wandelen. We wandelen minimaal 3x per dag, afhankelijk van het weer. We werken om en om vanuit huis en hebben 20+ jaar ervaring met verschillende soorten honden (van Bichon Frise tot Newfoundlander). In overleg zijn we op alle dagen beschikbaar. Boek je de uitlaat service bij jou thuis? Ik doe alleen een korte uitlating zodat de hond zijn/haar behoefte kan doen, helaas kan ik niet 30 min wandelen. Bij ons thuis doen we wel een lange wandeling. We accepteren alleen gecastreerde en gesteriliseerde honden. Voor een last minute verzoek komt er een toeslag van €10.

Wij waren heel blij met de opvang van onze grote lieve, maar iets koppige hond door Eva. Zij was heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Wij maken graag weer gebruik van haar diensten.

Cats always let me give them pets 🤭

I have always had pets at home since I was a child (from cats, to guinea pigs, to even a rabit and a duck once!). Currently, I unfortunately cannot have pets at home in the Netherlands because of my housing agreement... no pets allowed 🫤. But I miss it so much and I say all the time to my partner "I really wish I could get a cat!". My best days are when my neighbour's cat is outside the house in the sun and I can just give it some pets. Back in my homecountry I still have three awesome and super cute cats at my parents' house. They always seem to still remember and miss me when I go back there for holidays or quick visits. I love all animals, but I have a soft spot for cats 😻🐈‍⬛️.

Vrolijke familie wil zijn dierenliefde delen

Hoi! Wij zijn een familie die enorm houdt van honden, bestaande uit Gert-Jan en Leonie en dochters Merthe (10) en Jiske (8). We gaan graag op vakantie of weekenden weg, en vinden het op dit moment een te grote verplichting om zelf volledig voor een hond te zorgen. We zijn allebei opgegroeid met honden en de laatste jaren passen wij met grote regelmaat op onze vaste logé Bowie (Labradoodle). Dit vinden wij als gezin zo leuk om te doen dat we ook graag anderen willen helpen. We vinden het ook heel leuk om verschillende karakters van honden te leren kennen. Gert-Jan werkt nagenoeg volledig thuis en Leonie werkt parttime, waardoor we veel tijd hebben om lekker te wandelen en te spelen. Ook onze meiden zijn elke keer dolenthousiast en geven veel aandacht en liefde aan honden, een hond die oké is met kinderen is wel belangrijk. We hebben een ruime en volledig afgesloten tuin en wonen op loopafstand van de groenzoom waar we dan ook graag wandelen. Of naar de hondenspeeltuin om de hoek, daar genieten we ook van. We laten altijd maximaal 1 hond tegelijk komen, om echt gerichte aandacht te hebben en de hond ook rust te gunnen. Hopelijk tot binnenkort? Groeten, Gert-Jan en Leonie

Kattenoppas: Ik begrijp dat elke kat uniek is, met zijn eigen gewoontes en behoeften. Daarom pas ik mijn werkwijze aan op de persoonlijke voorkeuren van jouw kat. Een huisbezoek duurt 30 minuten—ruim voldoende tijd om te voorzien in alle basisbehoeften: ✔ Voer en vers water geven ✔ De kattenbak verschonen ✔ Aandacht en gezelschap (knuffelen, spelen, op schoot liggen) ✔ Eventuele ongelukjes opruimen ✔ Indien nodig medicatie toedienen (mits de kat hieraan gewend is) ✔ Optioneel: kamerplanten water geven en post uit het zicht leggen ✔️Andere huisdieren aanwezig is harstikke leuk. Kennismaking: Voordat ik voor jouw kat ga zorgen, plannen we een vrijblijvende kennismaking. Tijdens deze afspraak maak ik kennis met de dieren en bespreken we hun gewoontes, behoeften en eventuele medische vereisten. Uitlaten van honden: Bij het uitlaten van honden zorg ik ervoor dat ze de juiste hoeveelheid beweging krijgen, aangepast aan hun leeftijd, energie en persoonlijkheid. Of het nu gaat om een energieke wandeling of een rustige verkenningstocht, ik zorg ervoor dat uw hond de tijd krijgt om te snuffelen, rennen en zich volledig te ontspannen. Kontakt met Chanel verliep heel goed en ze is goed met honden. Bingsu is een heel makkelijke hond, tenzij ze zich niet op haar gemak voelt met een "vreemde". Alles verliep ok.

Wij zijn Neal & Margo, een stel van 27 jaar en dol op dieren! Onze droom is een eigen hondje, maar helaas is dat nu nog niet mogelijk voor ons. Wat een fantastische eerste oppasdag voor Fedde! Margo en Neal zijn echt superlieve, zachte mensen. Hun rustige energie straalde meteen op Fedde af. Hij voelde zich volkomen op zijn gemak en we zagen aan alles dat hij echt ontspannen was. Het was ook zo fijn om tussendoor de foto's van Margo te krijgen, daar spatte het plezier vanaf! Het wegbrengen ging zonder problemen, en bij het ophalen wilde hij niet eens mee terug. Dat zegt genoeg en hij bleef heerlijk relaxed liggen en kwam pas in beweging toen Margo en Neal naar de deur liepen. We zijn echt ontzettend blij dat we bij jullie zijn uitgekomen en hopen dat Fedde nog heel vaak mag komen logeren! Mijn kennis is gebaseerd op intuïtie en gezond verstand. In de loop van de tijd heb ik veel ervaring mogen opdoen met het begeleiden van honden en hun baasjes, door liefdevol af te stemmen op de behoeftes van het dier. * I'm fluent in English * Je parle Français couramment * Ich spreche ein wenig Deutsch LET OP: de vergoeding die automatisch wordt gecalculeerd klopt meestal niet. Helaas kan ik dit niet voorkomen. Ik kom graag naar jouw huis om voor je hond te zorgen. Vaak is het beter om een hond in de eigen vertrouwde omgeving te laten wanneer de baas een poosje weggaat. Bijvoorbeeld wanneer een hond ziek is of net geopereerd, of nogal oud of juist heel jong, of hij/zij heeft misschien een gebruiksaanwijzing of kan niet goed alleen zijn. Of er is helemaal niets aan de hand en is-tie hartstikke braaf - dat kan natuurlijk ook! Minstens vier keer per dag doen we een wandeling, ik speel spelletjes die voor jouw hond geschikt zijn, natuurlijk wordt er volop geknuffeld en uiteraard zorg ik voor de nodige rust. Als je wilt kan ik je op de hoogte houden van hoe het met je hond gaat, door je regelmatig berichtjes en foto's te sturen. De meeste baasjes vinden dat wel fijn, zeker in het begin. Dat kan ik ook goed begrijpen, want het is toch een hele stap om je hond aan een ander toe te vertrouwen. Behalve opvang voor de hond geef ik ook coaching en training voor baasje & hond samen. Ik heb veel ervaring met puppies, maar ook met dove honden en honden die dementeren. Verder kan ik helpen bij diverse opvoedingsproblemen (zelfs op latere leeftijd), waaronder trauma's, prooinijd, verlatingsangst en natuurlijk trekken aan de lijn. In geval van zeer ernstige gedragsstoornissen moet ik weleens doorverwijzen. Mijn tarieven kunnen voor iedere hond en situatie weer anders zijn, dus let niet op het bedrag wat automatisch bij je aanvraag verschijnt. Bijvoorbeeld: voor een wekelijkse lange wandeling vraag ik meestal €25, maar als ik in de vakantie drie weken bij een hond logeer dan tel ik €50 per dag. Voor een tweede of derde hond van hetzelfde baasje reken ik natuurlijk niet het volle pond! Van tevoren spreek ik altijd af om uitgebreid kennis te maken en daarna doe ik een voorstel. Logeren bij honden doe ik tijdens de schoolvakanties ook buiten Leiden. Mijn beschikbaarheid op de PetBnB kalender houd ik niet altijd precies bij. Neem gerust contact op om te overleggen over de mogelijkheden voor jouw hond.

Lena heeft niet alleen fantastisch gezorgd voor onze kat, ze heeft heel actief meegedacht over het proces. Door eerst kennis te maken en de updates tussendoor konden wij zorgeloos op vakantie. Wij zijn hartstikke tevreden en zouden Lena zeker nog eens vragen om op te passen.

Hoi! Santino en ik zijn enorme dierenliefhebbers en passen dan ook graag op jouw viervoeter. We houden van wandelen en gaan regelmatig naar Delftse Hout of het strand. We hebben zelf altijd huisdieren gehad en zijn de trouwe oppas voor de viervoeters van onze vrienden en familie. Inmiddels hebben we ervaring met honden, katten, knaagdieren en vogels. Santino studeert nog en ik werk veel thuis waardoor we extra tijd hebben voor knuffels, spelen, en wandelen. We wonen in een appartement met balkon op de tweede verdieping en gaan graag naar buiten als onze viervoeter gast dat ook leuk vindt! Verder is Santino heel rustig, houdt van lezen, duiken en spelletjes. Ik vind het leuk om op pad te gaan (wandelen, boulderen, duiken) of te koken. Hopelijk zien we je snel!
