Senior Dog Care in Halfweg

Huisdierenhotel Shannon 🐶

Hey!

Top !

Paws, Play & Plenty of Love in our home🐾🐶

Hello, my name is Eline, and together with my husband Seb and my daughter Thea, we are a gentle, caring and loving family based in Amstelveen who would be happy to take care of your dog 🐕💕 I have had animals throughout my life — including dogs, cats, fish and even a rat — and I have always enjoyed spending time with them, playing, and giving them lots of affection and attention. Caring for animals truly comes naturally to me, and I treat every pet as if it were part of the family. I really miss having animals at home, which is why I truly enjoy the opportunity to care for pets again and give them a warm and loving environment. Our daughter also loves animals and enjoys being around them. She would be happy to be involved in caring for your dog together with me, always under my supervision, and contributing to making your pet feel comfortable and well looked after ❤️🐶 Your dog will receive plenty of love, attention and proper care while staying with us. I am attentive, responsible and committed to making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable and happy during their stay.

Eline and her family took really good care of Nellie. From the moment we walked in, we immediately felt that she was in good hands. Nellie seemed very happy and relaxed when we picked her up, so we couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Cozy and funny time for your pet in Haarlem

I’m really good at taking care of pets because I genuinely love animals and enjoy spending time with them. I’m very attentive to their needs, whether it’s feeding them on time, giving them fresh water, taking them for walks, or just playing and keeping them company. I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved when they’re with me. I’m also very responsible and follow any special instructions their owners provide, including dietary restrictions or medication. For me, pets are not just animals — they’re part of the family, and I treat them with the same care and affection.

Hoi hoi lieve Pawparents 🐾 Mijn naam is Kezia.

Animal lover with pet experience

Hi, I’m Maite. I am a biologist from Spain that loves animals and is looking forward to take care of your pet. I am familiar with big breeds like samoyed, checkslovakian wolf dog and german shepherd. I also love kitties, as I had a small black cat when I was little. My apartment is very spacious and located in the heart of Amsterdam, in a residential neighbourhood so your pet will not be around tourists or with high traffic. My partner, back at his home town, has 2 big leon bergers so we are really familiar with dealing with big doggos as well. Pls ask me any questions that you may have :) Maite.

Pet Nutritionist looking for extra furry friends

Hi, I’m Alice, 31 and relocated to the Netherlands from the UK. I have always grown up with dogs and currently have two dogs in the UK (Hope and Duke in my pictures) who I miss a lot so I thought Pet BNB would be the perfect opportunity to spend more time with four legged friends, whilst also helping their owners. I have also worked in the Petfood industry for the past 8 years as a Pet Nutritionist, so I hope you feel reassured that your dog will be in the best hands! I can also give you some bonus feeding advice for free if you should need it! Finally, due to working full time and my company’s expectations of office days - I will need to be flexible with the days I offer to pet owners and their pets. If you’d like to book in a set day with me to walk or petsit then Mondays or Fridays work best during the week. My availability Tuesday through to Thursday may vary depending on my working week but I do try and always keep my calendar up to date. I look forward to looking after your dog in the future! Best Wishes, Alice

Alice is an amazing caretaker 🐕:heartpulse: Ciri adores her:grin:

I really enjoy a dog's company :)

EXPERIENCE I grew up with a dog and raised him for ten years. Then I had my own dog (flat coated retriever) for seven years. SERVICES The most important aspect of pet sitting is: treating the doggo with care, make him/her feel safe and comfortable. Secondly, basic needs are met: proper amount of food (as much as owner informs), energetic walks in the park, having great conversations :) And of course some nice extra perks such as: - Playing with doggo - Pampering & brushing - Massaging the paws - Smooshing those ears AVAILABILITY Flexibility during weekdays (need to be in the office three days a week) Available during most weekends

Roxana was amazing, always taking care of Manolito and keeping me updated all day!! We were very happy with her, attentive and warm! Thanks a lot!

Reliable & caring dog sitter

I have over eight years of experience caring for dogs, from puppies to senior dogs, ensuring their happiness, safety, and well-being. I offer a balance of exercise, playtime, and relaxation tailored to each dog’s needs. Activities include walks for exercise and stimulation, play sessions with their favorite toys, and cuddle time to make them feel at home. For energetic dogs familiar with running, we’ll enjoy a run at the beach, while older pets get gentle strolls and comfort. I also manage feeding routines, administer medications if needed, and provide regular updates to owners (and pics if the dog feels photogenic ) for peace of mind. Feel free to reach out if you have more questions!

Christina is great with dogs and Sepp is very comfortable around her. Great balance between active walks and lots of napping.

Puppy day is a happy day

Hello!😊 I'm Lilian, 29, from Greece. I decided to become a pet sitter because I miss my own dog and cat back home, and I love being around animals. I'm that person who makes silly voices at every dog and cat I see on the street!🙉😻🥰 I would love to spend more time with animals, so I'm available for daycare and hosting your pet at my place. I promise your dog will be treated like a precious baby, but of course, I'll follow all your rules.😎 I've grown up with pets my whole life, so I'm confident your dog will have a wonderful time with me. Plus, my boyfriend and I share a new apartment, and he's just as dog-obsessed as I am!🤩 **Important note: If your booking is accepted, please share all the important details about your dog (even the tricky ones!) so I can give them the best care possible. I also kindly ask that your pup arrives clean and fresh—this way we can all enjoy a cozy and comfortable environment together.** Feel free to contact me anytime! Paws and cuddles, Lilian😊

Testimonial

To Whom It May Concern, I’m writing to recommend Lilian Grammarikoudi as the best and most loving pet sitter. I have been knowing her since we were kids, and I've seen firsthand how much she loves and cares for animals. She grew up with three pets in her apartment, and she treated them like family. She’s got a natural knack for understanding and looking after them, always making sure they're happy, protected and healthy. Lilian has taken care of many stray animals, helping them to find a right family and environment for them! She knows more than anyone else I know about dogs and cat' and how to keep them safe and happy. I know that having her as your pet sitter it will be the best decision and your pet will have a new friend! Best, Vasilia

Caring Pet Sitter Who’ll Love Your Pet Like My Own

Hi ! My name is Olya. I am a passionate animal lover who is happiest when surrounded by furry friends. Growing up with pets, I have always had a special bond with animals. I know how much your pet means to you, and I will treat it with the same love and care I would give my own. I’m the person who stops to say hi to every dog or cat on the street. Your pets joy and comfort are my priority. I take the time to understand your pet’s unique personality and needs—whether they love energetic playtime or just cozy cuddles. You can relax knowing your best friend is in kind and capable hands. Let me take care of your pet as if they were my own. I promise it will get plenty of love, belly rubs, and happy tail wags while you are away! 🐶❤️

Olya and her partner take care of Moos while I was celebrating my birthday. Moos is so cozy with them, this feels very relaxed for me to leave. And I was a little bit too late to pick Moos up, but Olya didn't bother. So nice. Love this couple!

Great experience! She was quick to reply, everything went smoothly, and she took great care of my girlfriend’s older cat. She even left a small gift, which was such a lovely and thoughtful touch. Would definitely recommend her!

Your dog’s bestfriends

We both grew up with dogs around us and love to spend time with them. We have taken care of other dogs during our master’s studies and had a great time. We would like to help other pet parents like ourselves take care of their pets when they need to go away. We are available mostly during the weekends and sometimes during the week days. Whether you need day care or overnight stay, we are available for both. Minnie our toy poodle is very friendly and social and loves to play with other dogs. :) Looking forward to making new pawy best friends for her (and us).

Maria and Harsh are very sweet people, Sonny had a great time with Minnie! Thanks!!!

Safe & Loving Care for Dogs & Cats

Hi there! 😁 I’m Alicja, currently doing a postgraduate degree in animal behaviorism, focusing on dogs and cats. I’ve also completed a first aid for animals course, so I’m well-prepared to keep pets safe and comfortable in any situation. My love for animals has been part of me since childhood—I grew up with dogs, cats, and small pets, and now I live in Amsterdam-Noord with my boyfriend, our British Shorthair cat, and our Australian Shepherd puppy. In addition, I have experience working with dogs that have behavioral challenges such as reactivity or separation anxiety. Thanks to my background in animal behavior, I approach every pet with patience, understanding, and tailored care suited to their individual needs. To me, animals are family. I give them love, patience, and a safe, happy environment. As a pet sitter, I accept only one booking at a time, so I can fully dedicate my attention to your pet. I have lots of experience caring for different animals and only welcome vaccinated pets to ensure a safe space for all. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend and give them the care they deserve! 🐾 With love, Alicja

From Jack Russells to Ridgebacks

I recently swapped my desk job in sustainability consulting for the great outdoors to follow my true passion, caring for dogs. I wanted to trade my computer screen for fresh air, active days, and meaningful, offline connections. Growing up, I was surrounded by dogs of all sizes, from energetic Jack Russells and cheeky Pointers to friendly Retrievers and Ridgebacks. Because of this, I am deeply comfortable with all breeds and temperaments. I build an excellent rapport with dogs instantly and always treat them as my own. Your pup will receive my full attention, plenty of exercise, and the highest level of care!

Twiggy is not the easiest dog to handle, she is quite anxious and has her moods. but Sarah did a great job. Twiggy trusted her and spent a great time at Sarah’s place. The communication with Sarah was very easy and nice, she was also quite flexible accommodating the timing of bringing Twiggy. Everything went very well and I would totally reach out again if I need a place for Twiggy to stay 😊

Hallo! Mijn naam is Chantal.

Liefs, Fee

Fee is exceptionally pleasant, it was my first time leaving my puppy and immediately Fee welcomed us, I felt reassured he’s in good hands. Fee is warm and gentle and I picked up my puppy in good/high spirit. I definitely would use Fee’s services again and I 100% recommend. Heel erg bedankt Fee :white_heart:
