My grandmother and my cousin both had dogs that passed away recently, so I have also been involved in the care of older dogs, while I have lots of experience with puppies as well, as my family and me also fostered an Airedale terrier puppy for a couple of weeks. I've looked after dogs at horse stables and competitions, and I also volunteered in an animal shelter back home as a dog walker. Even though I do have some experience with bigger dogs, I am mainly used to smaller and medium-sized dogs, although every dog is different and I am open to working something out with bigger dogs as well! I have the most experience with terriers. Due to my current living situation, I cannot bring your dog/s to my place, but I am happy to look after them in your home, or take them on fun walks. I am generally a very active and sporty person, so I will enjoy giving your dog/s a fun and challenging walk that will be rewarding to both of us. My study schedules change frequently so I may be available at different times each week, but generally I am free in the mornings and evenings or at night, and for weekends it depends on how busy I am during that time period. Ik ben Femke, ben 18 jaar en ik kom uit Leiden. Ik hou van dieren en dat is ook de reden waarop ik ben begonnen met honden uitlaten. Ik heb een paar maanden een hulphond uitgelaten, hiermee liep ik dan 30 min tot een uur mee in het park. Ook ga ik een week oppassen op een puppy, hier komen ook veel gedragsregels bij kijken. I am a pet lover - dogs as well as cats. Lived my whole life around and caring for my dogs back home in Latvia - playing and exercising them, physically as well as mentally. Back home I even went through dog school with my German Shepherd and trained our puppy on my own. Here in Leiden I would prefer small to middle size dogs, just because in case of per boarding I believe my apartment would be a bit too small for a large dog. All my experience with dogs does not take away from my love of other pets like cats - in facts I am the godmother of 2 cats that my friend owns. Grote dieren vriend die van wandelen houd.

Ik heb in het verleden een Duitste herder en een Jack Russel gehad. Momenteel heb ik een wolfgrauwe keeshond en mijn vriendin een sibirsche husky. Wij zijn gek op dieren, we hebben ook nog katten en paarden. Ik ben erg sportief en beschik over een auto, boswandelingen of strandwandelingen ben ik niet vies van. Ik ben altijd heel voorzichtig aan wie ik mijn maatje toe vertrouw. Maar bij tom is dat zeker goed bevallen. Hij is heel goed geweest voor mijn hond. Hij was helemaal uit geteld en heeft zijn energie ergoed uit gegooid. Ik had er thuis geen hond meer aan. Gewoon helemaal top. Huge fan of walking and having nice company aside

I always had pets in my home when i was growing up so I understand them well enough and I enjoy my time around them, I believe they have pure and genuine energy and love towards us as long as we can reciprocate it back. I moved in to the Netherlands almost a year ago and cant afford having a companion aside me due to my financial circumstances atm, however it would be amazing to have be able to walk them and hang around with them every now and then. I had my own mixed Labrador, Pepe, who peacefully passed away last August at the age of 13.5. Since then, I’ve truly missed having my best buddy beside me for hikes in nature and swims by the sea. While your dog is staying with me, you can expect regular photo and video updates from our forest walks and outdoor adventures. During weekends, I often drive to the beach so the dogs can play, explore, and enjoy the sea as well. Your dog will be cared for with patience, respect, and love, and I’m confident they will be in very good hands with me.

Dawn took great care of our dog while we were away. She gave him a lot of love and attention and I could tell by the videos he got comfortable really fast, to the point he wanted all attention for himself xD We are very grateful that she had the time and that Spico had a great time as well. I didn't feel the need to keep asking questions because Dawn seemed very reliable and good with dogs. Pepe is also a great company and a delight to be around. Also grateful to Pepe that he put up with our overly enthusiastic Spico who is indeed used to having all the attention, keeping his stuff his etc All in all, Dawn and Pepe are a great duo to take care of your dog while you are away!

We love dogs and cats

I am originally from Ukraine, but because of the russian war, I currently live in the Hague with my nine-year-old daughter. She adores dogs and cats. I'm a vet, but I haven't worked as a vet since I had a daughter. In Ukraine, we have cats and a dog. They stayed with my mother at a safe place as far as possible. I helped Ukranian stray animals before the war and keep doing it now, at least financially. I will be happy to walk with your dog or take care of your dog or cat while you are away. I will be happy to walk (30-60 min) with your dog in the morning, afternoon, or evening either one time or regularly. I can come to visit your cat 1-2 times per day (around 30 min).

Altijd in om ergens een handje te helpen maar daarnaast ook vooral graag zelf op pad met een hond!
