Enthousiaste dierenvriend in Zaandam

Hallo baasjes!

Baxter really enjoyed his stay with Julia. She made him feel right at home, and he was clearly very comfortable — lounging on the couch like he owned the place! Julia was also very accommodating when I made a mistake with the dates, which I really appreciated.

Delighted to take care of your loved ones :)

Hello, I'm Gül, originally from the beautiful city of Izmir, Turkey. My love for cats has been a constant in my life. Back in Izmir, I cared for numerous street cats and shared my home with three adorable companions, one of whom is blind. What's more, I've always had cats and dogs at home, so I've grown up with them. I moved to Munich three years ago due to my master's degree in sport and exercise science following my undergraduate studies in physiotherapy. I have now been in Amsterdam for the past year and writing my thesis. The one thing I've missed the most during this journey is the comforting presence of my furry friends and becoming a cat sitter would make me feel much happier! I understand the importance of finding a caring and trustworthy companion for your beloved family members. I'm here to shower them with all the love and attention they crave, ensuring their well-being and keeping those tails wagging with happiness while you're away.

Gul was an amazing pet sitter for my dog Sandy. She made Sandy feel comfy and at home with her and had wonderful patience, since it was one of Sandy’s first dog sitting days and she had some separation anxiety. Sandy already felt much more comfortable leaving me the second visit. And hopefully it will only improve. Gul is a great, knowledgable and reliable, pet sitter - I definitely recommend her!

Your Pet’s Second Home 🐾 🏡

Hi Pet Parent 👋 ! My wife and I are animal lovers who enjoy caring for dogs and cats together. I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals, so looking after pets has always been a natural part of my life. Over the years, I have learned how important patience, attention, and a calm environment are for making animals feel comfortable. We will make sure your pet receives plenty of care, affection, playtime, walks, and rest, depending on their usual routine and needs. We understand that every animal has their own personality, habits, and preferences, so we will always follow your instructions carefully. While your pet is staying with us, they will be treated as part of the family in a safe and welcoming environment. We are also happy to send regular photos and updates, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your furry friend is being well looked after. Looking forward to meeting you😊

Bella had such a wonderful time! They were absolutely lovely with her and took such good care of her. We even received photos during her stay, which was so nice! I would definitely recommend them, and Bella will absolutely be staying with them again. ❤️:feet:

Caring animal sitter in Amsterdam Noord ❤️

Hi there! 👋 I'm Nomi, I love animals and have experience caring for both dogs and cats. Being around animals gives me so much joy and happiness, so I would love to take care of yours! Being born in Mongolia surrounded by animals made me care for their wellbeing, understand them and love for having them around. I have over 15 years of experience raising two amazing cats and volunteering at an animal shelter, I understand the needs and behaviors of both cats and dogs. I've also cared for the pets of friends and family, which I enjoyed a lot! I live in Amsterdam Noord in a studio apartment with a balcony and a park right in front of my apartment, perfect for long walks. - Some things to keep in mind when booking me: Daycare: Up to 8 hours. Dog boarding: Drop-off time will be the same as the pick-up time. A later pick-up will incur a late pick-up fee. For dog boarding, I kindly ask you to bring wet wipes for cleaning your buddy's cute paws. 😊 You can trust me to care for your pets as if they were my own. Feel free to reach out to me! I can’t wait to meet you and your best friend(s)! 🤗

Enthusiastic animal lover

Hello pet parents, My name is Noumi, I have always had a deep love for animals and genuinely enjoy spending time with both dogs and cats. I believe that every pet has their own personality, needs, and boundaries, and I make it a priority to respect those while making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I have experience caring for dogs through my time as a volunteer dog walker in Canmore Canada, where I regularly spent time with dogs and learned how important it is to be attentive to their individual personalities, energy levels, and needs. I understand that some dogs love long walks and lots of play, while others are happier with a slower pace, plenty of sniffing, and lots of reassurance. I am also a proud cat owner myself and currently have two cats. Living with cats has taught me to understand and respect their boundaries and body language. I know that some cats immediately want attention and cuddles, while others need a little more time and space before they feel comfortable. I am very happy to let them come to me at their own pace, while still giving them plenty of affection, playtime, and cuddles when they want them. When looking after someone else's pet, I treat them as if they were my own. Their safety, happiness, and comfort are my priorities. I am attentive to feeding routines, walks, playtime, medication or special instructions, and any habits or preferences their owners want me to know about. I also understand how important it is for pet owners to feel reassured while they are away, so I am happy to provide regular updates and photos. Feel free to contact me for futher questions or Inquiries

Verantwoordelijke dierenliefhebber!

--- ENGLISH: I am very responsible, love dogs, walking them, playing and cuddling them. I easily adapt to the rules that your pet is already used to. I prefer to take care of dogs that need to be out for a maximum of half an hour each time (although I love to take a long walk every now and then). The only thing I have a problem with is 'cheat' dogs, or dogs that are aggressive and you have to be very strict with them. I certainly show who 'the leader' is, but I like being able to walk the dog without any worries. I am an animal lover in general, so you can definitely contact me for cats or other animals! I have the most experience with dogs, cats, rabbits and birds. Locations: Amsterdam west (high preference), Amsterdam center & south, Amstelveen. Locations inc. use of a car possible: Haarlem, Overveen, Amsterdam north, Amsterdam east and southeast. Languages: I speak English, Spanish and Dutch fluently. Reviews: I have not done house sitting via PetBNB before, but I can provide you with many positive reviews that I found via other ways!

Your Dog's Full-Time Fun Manager!

My Experience with Dogs & Cats: A Lifelong Story My story with animals isn't something I learned—it’s who I am. Since I was a child dreaming of being a vet, my life has been woven together with the lives of animals. My journey started early, as the neighborhood’s trusted 8-year-old who would eagerly run over to walk dogs or babysit cats. I was a familiar face at local vet clinics, always asking to help. My first formal volunteer role was helping an organization care for strays, preparing them for their vet visits. A pivotal chapter began when I was 10, at a shelter within a veterinary university. Every day after school, my ritual was to walk my two proudly named furry friends, Guinness and Hennessy. I didn't just walk them; I played with them, fed them, cleaned their enclosures, and even began exploring my passion for training. As a teenager, I launched my own mini dog-walking business, and the response was overwhelming! I was responsibly caring for 7-10 dogs every single day. My clients ranged from clever Shiba Inus to gentle giant Saint Bernards. My duties were comprehensive: long, energetic walks, washing muddy paws, feeding, and providing loving babysitting for pets whose owners worked long hours. I became a true part of their families and still cherish the memories of watching those little puppies grow into magnificent dogs. Even at boarding school, I founded an Animal Volunteering Club to ensure my friends and I could continue visiting shelters. More recently, I lived on a horse farm in the US, caring for five farm dogs, which gave me a whole new perspective on strength and stamina! Throughout it all, I’ve been a proud dog owner myself, and I understand the unique love and responsibility that comes with it. My Availability: As a student at Utrecht University, my schedule varies by semester, but I am highly flexible and committed to working around your needs. I am an early bird and available for walks as early as 6:00 AM. On most weekdays, I am free after 5:00 PM, and I can often accommodate afternoon visits by arrangement. Weekends are generally wide-open and fully available.

Anna was an amazing pet and house sitter! She kept us updated and our dog Pierogi loved her. We will definitely hire her again in the future.

Your trusted petsitter

About Me: Hello, There! I am Juliana, a 30-year-old Brazilian with a deep love for our furry companions. I’ve been living in The Netherlands for 2.5 years, and I’ve decided that it is time to do what I really like to do: spend more time with our furry friends. Dog Daycare Expertise: With three years of invaluable experience in a dog daycare based in Brazil, I developed a deep understanding of the essential needs of our beloved dogs. At the dog daycare, I played a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our canine guests. From meticulously tending to their feeding and administering medications with the utmost care to joyfully playing and giving love, I was entrusted with their complete welfare. This rewarding experience has instilled in me a profound sense of responsibility and compassion for these wonderful creatures. Passion for animals: I grew up surrounded by animals. At the moment, I have one dog living with me here in The Netherlands and 2 dogs living with my mom in Brazil. Also living with my mom, I have 2 cats and 1 guinea pig. From early on, I learned the importance of empathy, patience, and understanding their unique needs. This firsthand experience has been invaluable in my professional journey, enabling me to connect deeply with the animals I care for. Personalized Walks: I find immense joy in embarking on walks with our four-legged friends. Exploring the world together, witnessing their wagging tails and playful strides, is a source of pure delight for me. Prioritizing safety is my mantra! Each walk is meticulously planned, considering the dog's temperament, environment, and potential challenges. Your furry friend's well-being is my top priority, always. Understanding that each dog is unique, I tailor the walking experience to suit their individual preferences and energy levels. From leisurely strolls to invigorating runs, every walk is designed to cater to their specific needs. So... If you're seeking a dedicated sitter to accompany your beloved pet on their daily adventures, I am eager to take care of them or be their walking partner. Together, let's ensure that each stride is filled with happiness and contentment, as we forge lasting bonds with our loyal furry friends. Looking forward to meeting you and your pup! :)

Meeting your pet’s needs with empathy and care

I have been a dog owner myself, as well as I have volunteered in an animal shelter for 2 years, so I am incredibly fond of dogs, cats and all other kinds of pets. As I am now a student who has moved away from home (so away from my family pets as well), I miss having animals around a lot. Additionally, since I’ve encountered all sorts pets in all sorts of states and traits, I take the time to introduce myself first, figure out the animal’s needs and only then move further with the care. I have 7 years of experience in taking care of dogs and cats, including the experience at the shelter. I have no preference for pets I sit, as well as I am rather flexible with my schedule - I can be available mornings, afternoons and evenings. I am a loving, gentle and caring sitter, described as "the one that has a way with animals." I find walking and/or sitting them genuinely pleasurable, so I always try to make the visits as warm as possible. Nonetheless, I am aware of the responsibility such care entails and make sure to do everything in my power to avoid any kind of negligence. When petsitting/boarding, I send regular photo updates, don’t leave the animals alone (unless allowed), walk them 3x a day and let them wander freely but safely around the apartment. I walk them regularly to provide toilet breaks as needed, but in cases of little accidents inside the apartment, I make sure to clean it up and generally to keep the pets in safe and higienic conditions. In addition to the > 15 minute walks, pets receive plenty of play time to fulfil their physical activity needs. I remain in consistent communication with the owners and feed/walk/provide medication/etc as instructed by the owners. I also spoil the pets with snacks, if allowed:) Fresh water is always available, as well food is provided as required by the owners. I try to stick to petsitting one animal at a time due to the stress different pets may cause to each other, but if allowed by the owners, I am always happy to sit a few animals at once. In case of an emergency, I will bring the pets to the vet or act in any other required manner as indicated by the owners. When dog walking, I take at least 30 minutes, keep my copy of the key safely, always check if everything is secured before leaving, dress the pet in provided attire if needed, carry the pets up/down the stairs if needed as well. During house visits, I spend at least an hour with the pets, playing with them and making sure they’re fed, walked and happy. I am also happy to house sit if that is preferred by the owners. If agreed in accordance with my schedule, I can house sit for an indefinite time. When house sitting, I always double check if everything is locked/turned off before leaving and/or night time. According to my regular clients, their pets are always excited to come back to my place - hope that would be the case with your pets as well:)

easy going dog sitting in Amsterdam west

My boyfriend Tim and I love dogs. I grew up in a vet family with loads of pets and all sorts of dogs around. Since our Cypriot dog passed away last year we have been dog sitting various neighborhood furry friends. We work from home most of the time, which gives us flexibility to do frequent walks and little adventures. We live right next to Erasmus and Rembrandt park. If time permits and if your dog is up for it, we love going to the forest or the beach. The appartment isn’t huge but well catered for a dog, and we love playing and training with dogs as well. The house is only accessible by stairs.

Tesse and Tim alternated the walks with - and care for - Felan. He loved them equally. On the pictures sent by Tesse an Tim is clearly visible that Felan had a great time when they sat him. Communication went smoothly, all in all I can only hope that we can prolongue this petsitting arrangement in the future.

Actieve liefdevolle opvang

One simple rule: pet them all!

I'm Inês, 30 years old, and recently moved to Zaandam, after 2 years in Eindhoven. I'm a pet lover and I've had fish, bunnies, and currently have a 6 month old puppy and a 5 year old. Both of them are teckels. I am currently in between jobs, which allows me for a lot of flexibility in my schedule to pay close attention to your furry friend when I'm needed. I can take your dog for a walk in the park, or I can also check up on that independent cutie who's alone while you're away. Cats and dogs are welcome but not extra large dogs, as in case of need I won’t have enough strenght to hold them in place. Shall we schedule that meet up?

Ines is super friendly and a big animal lover! We met beforehand to get to know each other and our dog was relaxed during her presence within minutes. She sent us updates to let us know during their first walk that everything went great and he was very happy. We'll be seeing more of Ines and would definitely recommend her!

Dog lover in Amsterdam

Since I can remember I've been a doglover. I've had a dog since I was only 4 years old and grew up with her. Since I've been living on my own I don't have the space for a dog, but whenever I see one on the streets, I'm the girl who pets the dog. I really miss having a dog around me. We love to go for (long) walks in the park or in the forest and A LOT of cuddles is necessary! My partner and I live together and we both love dogs a lo, no kids nor pets, but plenty of love and cuddles to share with a dog-friend!

Caring sitter, will treat your pet as my own

I enjoy taking care of dogs. For my 8th birthday my parents gave me the best present of my life—a puppy. Funnily enough, the puppy's name was Gift. He quickly became a family member, and I was his "mom”,taking care of him. We shared both good and challenging times, from our evening walks in the park that were my daily meditation, to the tough moments when he was unwell, and so much more. In my family we even nicknamed the park, where we walked him every day, after him—Gift's Park. When I was 18, I moved to the Netherlands and started working as a dog sitter. Every dog is different and has its own personality, and I truly enjoy this as a side job. I’ve been doing this for 6 years now. I have experience with other pets as well - I took care of guinea pigs and a parrot. A bit about me: - I live alone in a studio apartment, and I’m lucky to have Westerpark nearby— it's a great place to walk with dogs - I work for an insurance company and work from home, so I can stay with a dog all day. - My hobbies are dancing and clay crafts, which I enjoy in my free time. Reach out to me—I’d be happy to discuss how I can help you!
