My name is Carolina, I’m 31, and I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I’ve had various pets, including dogs, rabbits, turtles, goldfinches, and even quails. I have plenty of experience taking care of animals. While I’ve never used an app like this before, I’ve often cared for the pets of my friends and family. For example, I regularly look after Lola, my sister’s 11-year-old Bichon Maltese, and Rita, a Labrador belonging to a friend. You can rest assured your pets will be comfortable and happy with me. I’m available part of the day sometimes weekends, so feel free to contact me if you’d like to have me take care of your pet for a few hours.

Mijn naam is Maya, 40 jaar, geadopteerd uit Colombia en woonachtig in Rotterdam (Oude Westen). Ik ben een gevoelig en intuïtief mens met een diepe, levenslange liefde voor dieren. Voor mij zijn dieren geen huisdieren – ze zijn familie. Bij hen voel ik rust, verbinding en een natuurlijke vorm van communicatie, soms zelfs alsof we dezelfde taal spreken. In de afgelopen jaren heb ik op verschillende plekken in Nederland gezorgd voor honden en katten (regelmatig in hun eigen vertrouwde omgeving in huis) Van Texel tot in de stad – overal ben ik met open armen en poten ontvangen. Honden en katten zijn me het meest dierbaar: ik speel graag met ze, wandel, knuffel en ben gewoon graag samen, in stilte of in gezelligheid. Als een hond avontuurlijk is en houdt van boswandelingen of hiken, dan ga ik graag mee op pad. Zelf heb ik op dit moment geen dieren. Juist daardoor voelt het zorgen voor andermans dieren voor mij extra waardevol en kan ik mijn aandacht volledig aan hen geven. Een kleine tot middelgrote, rustige hond (die niet veel verhaart) mag eventueel ook bij mij thuis verblijven als dat voor beide kanten goed voelt. Houd er wel rekening mee dat ik op de derde verdieping woon en dat er steile, smalle trappen zijn. Kleine honden kan ik dragen, middelgrote en grote honden moeten zelf de trap op kunnen. Mijn voorkeur gaat vaak uit naar oppassen aan huis, zodat het dier zich het meest comfortabel voelt in zijn of haar eigen vertrouwde omgeving. Naast het oppassen ben ik een creatief mens en werk ik met energie o.a. door muziek en zang. Ik begeleid ceremonies en workshops binnen het veld van bewustzijn. Muziek en het samenzijn met dieren zijn voor mij twee van de meest natuurlijke vormen van verbinding en aanwezigheid. Dieren reageren vaak heel ontspannen op mijn rustige en zachte energie. Het komt regelmatig voor dat een hond of kat die als wat schuw of gevoelig wordt omschreven, bij mij toch snel tot rust komt en contact zoekt. Met veel geduld neem ik de tijd om een dier echt te leren kennen en me af te stemmen op wat het nodig heeft – of dat nu spelen, wandelen of gewoon rustig samen zijn is. 🚆 Reizen met het OV is voor mij geen probleem – met een reiskostenvergoeding ben ik beschikbaar in verschillende regio’s. 🏡 Voor house sitting met een hond en of kat ben ik beschikbaar voor zowel korte als langere periodes. 🧼 Ik ben een zeer schoon, bewust en respectvol persoon. 🌱 Ik leef al jaren (10 jaar) veganistisch, vanuit mijn liefde en respect voor dieren en mijn eigen gezondheid. 🇳🇱🇬🇧 Ik spreek zowel Nederlands als Engels vloeiend en 🇨🇴 Spaans een kleine beetje. Because I am a university student with a flexible schedule, pets are rarely left alone for long periods. In most cases, they would stay with me throughout the day. If I have a morning class, usually between 9:00 and 11:30, pets may be alone for a short time, but never more than around 2 hours. I always make sure they are comfortable, safe, and settled before leaving. Als lid van deze NGO werkte ik aan de redding van dieren die op straat leven, aan de organisatie van vaccinaties en voedseldonaties en aan de ondersteuning van adopties. Mijn 2 katten leefden op straat, ze waren zo schattig dat ik ze wel moest adopteren. Voor deze baan kan ik bij u thuis komen en tijd doorbrengen met uw huisdieren. Ik voer ze, voeg vers water toe en maak de kattenbakken schoon, we spelen samen, ik knuffel en ik maak veel foto Sommige katten hebben tijd nodig om te wennen aan de anwezigheid van een vreemde, ik respecteer hun tijd en als ze me vertrouwen, komen ze dichtbij zodat we van onze tijd samen kunnen genieten. Het bezoek kan 30 minuten of langer duren, indien nodig kan ik ook de planten water geven, de vissen en vogels voeren. Ik kan ook met de honden lange of korte wandelingen maken. Betrouwbare hondenfamilie staan voor je klaar!

Zoek je een fijne, vertrouwde oppas voor jouw hond tijdens de vakantie of een weekendje weg? Superleuk dat je op ons profiel kijkt! Wij zijn Eline, Dylan en onze kleine zoon Siem; drie enorme hondenliefhebbers. Op dit moment hebben we zelf geen hond, maar het begint steeds meer te kriebelen… Daarom vinden we het heerlijk om via Petbnb af en toe een viervoeter in huis te hebben. Waarom bij ons? Dylan heeft een bak aan ervaring met allerlei hondenrassen. Hij groeide op met een Berner Senner en later een Jack Russell, en heeft daarna zelfs vijf labradors opgevoed voor het KNGF. Drie daarvan wonen nu met pensioen bij zijn ouders — dus die zien we ook vaak. In de familie wemelt het daarnaast van de honden: mopshonden, teckels, labradoodles… noem maar op. Door deze ervaring weten we precies hoe we honden op een rustige, duidelijke manier benaderen. Daardoor voelen ze zich bij ons snel veilig en op hun gemak. Onze omgeving We wonen in een buurt met: • een eigen tuin, • meerdere hondenrenveldjes, • én natuurgebied De Zuidpolder op loopafstand, ideaal voor mooie wandelingen. Belangrijk om te weten We hebben een vrolijk mannetje van 1,5 jaar rondlopen. Daarom vinden we het belangrijk dat de oppashond goed met kinderen kan omgaan. Daarnaast zijn wij flexibel in de haal- en brengtijden. Ben je op zoek naar lieve, ervaren oppassers die jouw hond behandelen alsof het hun eigen is? Wij zijn super blij dat onze Senna bij Dylan en Eline mocht blijven logeren. Ze was in orde en liefdevolle handen. Een fijne plek waar onze trouwe labrador mocht verblijven! Hartstikke bedankt!

Hi! I'm Rugilė, from Lithuania, and I’ve been living in Rotterdam for about 4 years. I’m a psychology graduate trying to decide what the professional future holds for me and currently exploring the field of Animal assisted therapy. I started pet sitting as I was longing for a meaningful activity during my free time, and this has been the perfect thing! As a child, I was always surrounded by animals, mostly dogs, and I developed great love for them. Even at a young age I was walking neighbours' dogs and also back home I have my puppy who I love so much and I never got tired of taking care of her, and I always enjoyed the responsibility, to say the least. Therefore, because I miss that connection with dogs and cats, and because I love to be able to help others with taking care of their pets, I am sure I fit the role and could be your trusted pet sitter/ walker!☺️ I provide the services of dog walking, home visits and house sittings at your place! - I ensure that I will respect your house while there, will lock up and return the keys safely. - For walking and home visit services, I’ll make sure to walk your dog in your neighbourhood/ spend quality time with your pets for at least 30 min. - As for house sitting, I would spend all my time possible at your place, making sure I provide enrichment activities or whatever the pets and you need. - Additionally, if needed, I can administer oral medication and other medications, if instructed how to beforehand. - Also, I am not a certified pet trainer, but I am really interested in it and constantly do my research on it, so I am willing to do it, if wanted. Though, this is only an outline of my services, I am flexible to help you with whatever you need, just let me know! I do not have strong preferences for dog sizes/ breeds really, and my availability varies throughout the month, as seen in the calendar. Especially for longer distance visits (out of R'dam centre), I would like to discuss the compensation for my transportation (as I do not have the opportunity to bike far and am an international student who pays the full public transportation price😅)

My whole life I’ve moved around the world, but that didn’t stop me from loving and caring for animals! from cats/dogs/ to horses/turtles and even fish! my family and I have always had a huge heart and home for them. I have my animals all the way in South Africa with my parents, one horse and one cat, but that’s why I’m open to caring for as many as possible here in Rotterdam! I had a great experience with Luna helping me with my dog Alma. Alma is quite anxious with new people, however Luna immediately earned her trust and made her feel very comfortable, loved and happy. Luna is very responsible and trustworthy, always replies quickly and is super easy to communicate with :) I would definitely trust her to take great care of my dog again!
