Caring Dog Sitter With Lifelong Pet Experience

Hi! My name is Nehir, and I’m a 20-year-old Psychology student living in Rotterdam. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I grew up around many different pets, which gave me years of experience understanding animal behavior and care. I am a calm, patient, and responsible person, and I genuinely enjoy making pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Because every dog has a different personality and routine, I always adapt my care depending on their needs and energy level. A typical day with me includes regular walks, playtime, feeding based on the owner’s instructions, lots of attention, and a calm environment where pets can relax comfortably. Walks are usually between 30 minutes and 1 hour depending on the dog. Pets are never left alone for very long periods, and I always make sure they are supervised carefully indoors and outdoors. I am comfortable with shy or anxious dogs and try to help them feel secure with patience and gentle attention. I can also follow specific routines, feeding schedules, and basic training instructions from owners. I always keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel relaxed while away from their pets. Safety is very important to me. I keep a clean and pet-safe environment at home and stay calm and responsible in unexpected situations or emergencies. For safety reasons, I prefer vaccinated pets. Because I am a university student with a flexible schedule, pets are rarely left alone for long periods. In most cases, they would stay with me throughout the day. If I have a morning class, usually between 9:00 and 11:30, pets may be alone for a short time, but never more than around 2 hours. I always make sure they are comfortable, safe, and settled before leaving. I understand that pets are family members, and I will always care for them with love, patience, and responsibility as if they were my own 🐾

Wij zijn een warm en gezellig samengesteld gezin. We hebben een tweeling van 4 jaar oud en daarnaast zijn er de helft van de tijd ook pubers in huis, in de leeftijd van 15 tot 21 jaar. Ook hebben we een kat, die het grootste deel van de dag lekker buiten te vinden is. Al langere tijd denken we na over de aanschaf van een hond. Omdat we deze beslissing zorgvuldig willen nemen, willen we eerst ervaren hoe het is om een hond in ons gezin te hebben. Daarom lijkt het ons fijn om via Petbnb een aantal keer op een hond te passen. Zo kunnen we ontdekken of een hond goed bij ons gezin en onze levensstijl past. Onze voorkeur gaat uit naar een Cavapoo of een andere kleine Labradoodle-kruising, omdat we denken dat dit type hond goed bij ons past. Daarom passen we het liefst op een hond met een vergelijkbaar karakter en formaat. Aan het einde van dit jaar verhuizen we naar Berkel en Rodenrijs. Tot die tijd wonen we in een huis met een ruime woonkamer, een fijne tuin en veel mooie wandel- en uitlaatgebieden in de directe omgeving. We kijken ernaar uit om een hond alle aandacht, liefde en beweging te geven die hij of zij verdient. We behandelen iedere hond alsof het onze eigen hond is en vinden het belangrijk dat zowel de hond als de eigenaar zich prettig en vertrouwd voelt.

Wat een fantastische eerste oppasdag voor Fedde! Margo en Neal zijn echt superlieve, zachte mensen. Hun rustige energie straalde meteen op Fedde af. Hij voelde zich volkomen op zijn gemak en we zagen aan alles dat hij echt ontspannen was. Het was ook zo fijn om tussendoor de foto's van Margo te krijgen, daar spatte het plezier vanaf! Het wegbrengen ging zonder problemen, en bij het ophalen wilde hij niet eens mee terug. Dat zegt genoeg en hij bleef heerlijk relaxed liggen en kwam pas in beweging toen Margo en Neal naar de deur liepen. We zijn echt ontzettend blij dat we bij jullie zijn uitgekomen en hopen dat Fedde nog heel vaak mag komen logeren! Thuis hebben wij altijd honden gehad. We gingen vaak samen wandelen in de bossen en op het strand. Onze meiden van 10, 7 en 4 jaar zouden het geweldig vinden om een hond te hebben. Pa ook trouwens ;) Die heeft vroeger bij zijn ouders thuis altijd honden gehad dus is er ook heel vertrouwd mee. Een klein of middelgroot, vriendelijk ras is welkom bij ons! Geen langere logeerperiodes, maximaal een week. We hebben zelf een kat. We horen graag van je!

I live with my partner in Blijdorp, we have a quite spacious house and a small garden. We both love dogs but due to work and holidays we can’t have one ourselves so we love to occasionally take care of them.
