Geduldig, lief, zorgzaam en verstandig!

Hoi lieve honden- en kattenbaasjes! Mijn naam is Sophie en ik ben 26 jaar oud! Ik houd erg van dieren en heb de nodige uitlaat- en verzorgingservaring opgedaan. Ik vind het heerlijk om lange wandelingen te maken en honden uit te dagen met leuke (denk)spelletjes. Uit ervaring weet ik ook dat sommige honden het juist fijn vinden om op de bank te knuffelen of een rustig rondje rond te snuffelen en slenteren en dat vind ik ook helemaal prima! Ik wil er graag achter komen waar jouw hond aan toe is en hoe ik hen (en het baasje!) een fijne ervaring kan geven. Ik ben rustig, zorgzaam en sociaal aangelegd, en dieren zijn vaak snel bij mij op hun gemak.

Experienced dog lover offering reliable, thoughtful care while you’re away! I grew up around dogs my entire life, and therefore have plenty of experience. I understand how important it is to make them feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I work from home Monday and Fridays and therefore have a lot of flexibility for walks, cuddles and attention throughout the day. The weekends I don’t work so even better. I live close the the Vondelpark and Rembrandtpark. My partner and I live in an apartment together that has access to a lift, has plenty of space and a large balcony too. For overnight stays, I‘d kindly ask you to provide the dog‘s usual food, favourite toys and their own bed. This helps them feel more at home and keeps their routine as familiar as possible. Your dog will always be treated with patience and plenty of care, as if they were my own.

I enjoy taking care of dogs. For my 8th birthday my parents gave me the best present of my life—a puppy. Funnily enough, the puppy's name was Gift. He quickly became a family member, and I was his "mom”,taking care of him. We shared both good and challenging times, from our evening walks in the park that were my daily meditation, to the tough moments when he was unwell, and so much more. In my family we even nicknamed the park, where we walked him every day, after him—Gift's Park. When I was 18, I moved to the Netherlands and started working as a dog sitter. Every dog is different and has its own personality, and I truly enjoy this as a side job. I’ve been doing this for 6 years now. I have experience with other pets as well - I took care of guinea pigs and a parrot. She even sings to me (a little off-key, but I don’t mind). 10/10 would chase squirrels with her again!” 🐾 Hi and welcome to my profile! Now that I have you here, let me tell you a bit about myself! I’m 28, live by myself in a 50sqm apartment in the Amsterdam West area; by the OLVG West. I have always loved and respected animals and my heart has always been drawn to dogs! Originally I am from Romania and I grew up in Greece, where I moved out from last year; traded sunny beaches for moody weather and picturesque houses and squares with which I’m consistently in love! A few things about my parenting style - my curiosity of dog psychology and my will to be a better mom to Milu lead me into long hours reading and researching all topics regarding behavior and psychology, nutrition, exercises and training and well as the specific needs of different breeds. I bring love, patience, understanding and curiosity about the intricacies of each breed and character. What brings me here is how much I miss my little girl! Unfortunately I lost her to a heart condition and while I still find it painful, losing her and to balm down my wounds, I think caring for and receiving a little bit of love here and there would also make me very very happy! While I tried to share as much as possible about me, which I imagine someone would want to know before entrusting a stranger with their baby - I encourage you to reach out and have a chat with me about anything else you’d like to know- regardless of weather you’ll pick me or not to take care of your pet!

We had a great experience with Cristina! There was an instant connection between her and Ivy, and Ivy clearly felt very comfortable with her. Cristina was caring, attentive and made her feel right at home. Ivy even gave her lots of hugs & kisses! We’ll definitely come back again. Highly recommended! :feet:❤️

Enthousiaste, energieke & betrouwbare oppas!

Over mij: Sinds ik op mijzelf woon pas ik regelmatig op honden (en soms katten): gewoon omdat ik het leuk vind en graag buiten ben! Zelf een huisdier nemen is geen mogelijkheid gezien mijn fulltime baan, dus dit is een fijne oplossing met alleen maar winnaars! Aanvullende info: Ik heb 3,5 jaar in een dierenasiel gewerkt en daardoor ervaring met kleine honden (0-10kg), maar ook met grote honden zoals Turkse Herders (45-55kg). Ik deins daarom echt niet terug door het uiterlijk van een hond en de vooroordelen die bestaan over een ras, maar ik vind het wel belangrijk dat de hond betrouwbaar en goed opgevoed is. Neem gerust contact op! Ik ben flexibel en denk graag mee. - Op vrijdagen alleen vanaf eind van de middag (tenzij feestdag). - In weekenden ook in omgeving Twente mogelijk.

Onze Bowie heeft echt een geweldige week met Anouk gehad! Onze dalmaat is namelijk best een eigenzinnig geval en houdt niet zo van verandering. Dat wij een weekje zonder haar op vakantie gaan, vindt ze al niet zo leuk en moet ze echt even uit haar comfortzone komen. Maar daarom was het des te fijner dat ze wel lekker in haar eigen omgeving kon blijven en Anouk zich een hele week over haar heeft ontfermd in ons huis. Het is vantevoren best spannend hoe dat zal uitpakken, maar Anouk is echt een zeer betrokken oppas met veel hondenkennis en -ervaring. Door haar rust en geduld, hebben wij ook echt kunnen genieten van onze vakantie. Ze stuurde ons elke dag even een korte update en het huis was helemaal netjes toen we weer thuis kwamen. Wij zijn superblij met Anouk en de volgende keer gaan we haar zeker weer vragen, ze echt een topper!

energiek - verzorgend - aandachtig - heel veel zin

Wij, Carli en Danique, wonen in een heel fijn en koel appartement in Amsterdam-Oost met een tuin! We dromen van een eigen hond, maar willen daar alle tijd voor hebben en in sommige periodes is dat in deze fase van ons leven niet het geval. Vandaar deze gezellige oplossing :) Danique heeft thuis gestreden voor een hond (inclusief PowerPoint om ouders te overtuigen) en heeft vanaf haar 12e, jaren lang met een Border Collie mogen leven. Daarna heeft ze in Amsterdam nog verschillende uitlaat honden 'gehad'. Carli is verzot van honden. Hij haalt op reis alle straathonden aan die we tegenkomen en de liefde is vaak wederzijds. Samen houden we van in de natuur zijn, weekendjes weg met onze camper en zijn beide sportief! p.s. als je twee honden hebt die komen logeren is de prijs zeker overlegbaar!

Danique and Carli dog sat my dog while I went away for a long weekend and they were so great with her! I’m so grateful to have found people who I know my dog loves!
