Having grown up with dogs since my early childhood, I’ve always had an undying love for dogs and taking care of them. I love all dog breeds and all types, and I like to get to know their personalities. I have been taking care of big dogs since I was around 8 years old, owning golden retrievers, boxers, and a couple rescue dogs. I currently can’t own a dog full time, which is why I want to dog sit as many as I can! I’m always open to helping anyone who’s in need of a helping hand with their dog, whether it is for a few hours or overnight :)

I know what makes them happy, as well as what is too much for them. I adapt very easily to each dog, depending on their needs and qualities. As a free-lancer/self-employed artist, my schedule is very flexible and varies a lot depending on the job contracts, offers, auditions I get. This is a good thing; it means I am free quite often, but it also means that my availability can change from time to time, randomly, as I am not always aware of when I will get an offer! Ik vind het super leuk om honden uit te laten. Zelf heb ik ook een middel groot hondje. Ik kan in de omgeving Diemen en Diemen-zuid je hond uitlaten voor je. Dag opvang is ook een mogelijkheid en ik kan ook oppassen bij mij thuis tijdens vakantie. Voor het oppassen: Laat de huisdiertjes gezellig bij mij logeren als jullie op vakantie gaan. Enthousiaste en lieve honden gek!

Ik ben die persoon op feestjes/op straat/in de kroeg/waar dan ook, die met de vreemde honden aan het spelen of knuffelen is. Al heel mijn leven wil ik heeeeeel graag een hond. Mijn ouders helaas niet, die wilde er niet aan vast zitten ivm vakanties maar paste wel graag op. Van jongs af aan kregen wij daarom al vaak de hond van mijn oom (herdershonden) of buren als logee. Een warme thuis voor jouw hond of kat 💕

Ik ben een echte dierenliefhebber! Helaas kan ik momenteel zelf geen dier adopteren omdat ik te veel reis. Dat vind ik ontzettend jammer, dus daarom lijkt het me heel leuk om af en toe op iemand anders zijn hond of kat te passen. Van huis uit heb ik altijd dieren gehad, waaronder een Duitse herder, een rottweiler, een Maltezer en meerdere katten. Daardoor ben ik gewend aan verschillende karakters en behoeften. Daarnaast pas ik regelmatig op de hond van mijn zus, een rescue uit Spanje. Ik werk voor mezelf vanuit huis, waardoor ik veel aanwezig ben. Dat maakt mijn huis ook geschikt voor diertjes die niet zo graag lang alleen zijn. Ik houd zowel van korte als lange wandelingen en neem honden, afhankelijk van hun karakter, graag mee op pad. Natuurlijk is er thuis ook genoeg tijd om te spelen, knuffelen of gewoon lekker te ontspannen. Daarnaast heb ik een fijn tuintje waar honden en katten lekker kunnen relaxen als het mooi weer is. Mensen omschrijven mij als rustig, warm en zorgzaam. Wat je van mij kunt verwachten? Veel liefde en aandacht voor je dier, regelmatige updates en foto’s, en de geruststelling dat je huisdier in goede handen is. Ik plan vooraf altijd graag even een kennismaking in, zodat we kunnen kijken of er een goede match is. Voor de rest woon ik op 40m² met een tuin, dus voor hele grote honden is mijn woning waarschijnlijk minder geschikt. Goed om te weten: omdat ik op de begane grond woon, hoor je soms geluiden uit het trappenhuis. Daarom is mijn woning minder geschikt voor honden die erg waaks zijn of snel aanslaan bij geluiden. Voor vragen mag je altijd contact opnemen! 🐾

Kees is out permanent roommate, he’s a mini dachshund who loves to play in Vondelpark everyday and make new friends. About myself, I’m an analyst that often works from home and through social media and group chats I see a lot of people struggling to find a sitter for their pet. While working at home I usually walk Kees every 2-3 hours, while going to dog parks almost everyday for a least 30 min. I’ve taken care of a few dogs before, and when taking them anywhere I make sure to but a tracking device on them (better be safe than sorry!). If your dog needs to stay overnight, that won’t be an issue as there is plenty of space here on the boat. Regarding this, no person of dog had ever fallen in the water - but just to be sure we always put the dogs life jackets on. Regarding your dog, my only wish is that he/she is comfortable being picked-up and being friendly to other dogs. The rest I can manage! Looking forward meeting you and your dog!
