I have spent most of my life having one or more animals in the home, and I'm looking forward to spending time and caring for the animals of Amsterdam as well :) I am a patient and loving individual who has been missing having a doggie to take care of! When I was younger, I wanted to be a veterinarian, as caring/watching over homeless animals in need always gave me joy. I have also been very vocal about animal rights in the past, raising fundraisers etc. I am very active and like spending time outdoors/in nature, but I am also happy to slow down and give extra attention to any pet who needs it!

Hello, I honestly have no experience raising a dog but I'd like to become a dog sitter because I'm considering to get a dog. I mostly work from home with flexible hours so I can walk your dog in the morning, during lunch or in the afternoon. I'm a runner so I can also take your dog to my 5km run if he/she is active enough. The area where I live is very green with lots of dogs which is perfect for socialization with other dogs and other dog owners, as well as outdoor activities. I can do runs in Amsterdam (Zuid/Rivierenbuurt) or take my car and we gaan go to Amsterdamse Bos, the beach, or Spaarnwoude! About me: I grew up in Haarlem, where I took my neighbour’s dogs weekly for a run or walk. Living in an apartment in Rivierenbuurt, I do not wish to care for a dog without a garden space and my work life does not allow me to take appropriate care for a dog of my own. However, I love running and I think it is amazing to have a running buddy on a leash. Some dogs love it to keep going - and afterwards feel fulfilled. Some weekends I visit my grandparents near the German border and me and their Border Collie run for hours through nature. Let’s do a run together?

Groot hart en veel liefde te geven

Hi! Ik ben echt dol op honden, en katten. Vroeger thuis altijd katten en een hond gehad. Sinds 4 jaar oud al een echte dierenvriend

Dieren zijn altijd een groot deel van mijn leven geweest. Sinds ik me kan herinneren, ben ik omringd door katten, paarden en honden. Ik ben letterlijk opgegroeid met harige vrienden aan mijn zijde, van knuffelige katten op mijn bed tot enthousiaste honden die meegingen op elke wandeling. Of een kat even met rust gelaten wil worden of een hond juist extra aandacht nodig heeft, ik pas me aan. – Ik ben actief en wandel veel, dus energieke honden zijn bij mij in goede handen. – Tegelijk kan ik ook rustig zijn en weet ik hoe ik vertrouwen win bij verlegen of oudere dieren. – Katten met karakter? Heerlijk! Ik houd van hun eigenzinnigheid en geef ze de ruimte die ze nodig hebben. – Grote honden, kleine hondjes, kittens of senior-katten: ik heb er ervaring mee. Ik ben geduldig, liefdevol, verantwoordelijk en weet hoe belangrijk het is om iemands dier met aandacht, zorg én plezier te behandelen.
