I have been living in Schiedam with my husband Douglas, an apartament on the ground floor, we don’t have stairs in our place, it’s good for old dogs 😀 just 200 metres from Schiedam Centrum Station. We are expats from Brazil. My husband is a scientist works with rare diseases ,and due to corona virus, he has been working from home since 2020. So, we are together at home most of the time. I decided become a petsitter because I love animals and I am at home many hours, so I am available during working hours, pettsiting is my full time job and I can give full attention to your dog and cat. ;) I am looking for a lovely pet/cat company when you are not available. I have an experience with dogs and cats, I took care since I was child. -DOG WALKING- A walk is like 20/30 minutes except if it’s too much for your dog. * BE AWARE -for requests more than 3km away from my home I charge the transport ticket. At the moment I am only accepting requests for schiedam centrum area. -HOME VISITS FOR CATS (at least 30 min): I will change the water, food, clean the litter box and of course... cuddling and play with them. Any special requirements (as medicine or such), you may inform me in our first meet and I will make sure it's taken care of. At the moment I am only accepting requests for schiedam centrum area. -DOG BOARDING SERVICE ( 24 hours duration): walks (3 times per day: in the morning,in the afternoon, and in the evening before going to bed). They are not going to be alone for more that 3 hrs. --Pick up and Drop off times fall within 24 hrs time frame. For example, if the drop off is at 10 am, pick up should be at 10 am on the last day. Additional time (Later pick-up)can be booked separately in the form of dog day care. -Even though we are home most of the time, we like being very organized with our schedules and therefore we really appreciate punctuality for the meet & greet and for picking up and dropping off the dogs. We are available for pick up and drop off between 8am and 7pm. In case you would need to come earlier in the morning or later at night, we might ask you to book another day. -JUNE-JULY-AUGUST-DECEMBER reservation minimum 7 nights dog boarding -Public holidays King's Day, Liberation Day, Easter Pentecost etc. minimum 3 nights. -DOG DAY CARE(duration 8-10 hours): walks 3 times per day. Onze jonge pup Bowie heeft het erg naar z’n zin gehad bij Anouk. hij heeft lekker gespeeld en ook geslapen. Anouk hield ons op de hoogte hoe het ging en deelde ook foto’s. Dat vonden we erg fijn, en geeft ons gerust gevoel dat Bowie het naar z’n zin had. Dank je wel Anouk! Bowie komt graag nog een keertje.

Rustige dierenliefhebber met goede wandelschoenen

Ik ben een rustige dame van 31 jaar. Ik ben gek op dieren (katten, honden, en nog veel meer). Ik werk freelance aan theaterproducties en ben daarnaast fotograaf en schrijver. Ik heb flexibele werktijden en vaak aan een stopcontact en internetverbinding genoeg. Ik werk graag op verschillende plekken en natuurlijk het liefst met een kat op schoot of een hond in de buurt. Oppassen met overnachtingen is voor mij dan ook vaak geen enkel probleem. Ik heb groene vingers en vertroetel eventuele kamer- of buitenplanten net zo veel als huisdieren. Ook zonder overnachting vind ik het natuurlijk leuk om te komen oppassen. Afhankelijk van de wens, kan ik even snel langs komen om te spelen, maar ik maak ook graag tijd vrij om langer te verblijven om katten wat sociale aandacht te geven in jouw afwezigheid. En met honden maak ik graag lange wandelingen, weer of geen weer. Ik mag zelf helaas geen huisdieren hebben in het huis waar ik nu woon, daarom is oppasservice vanuit mijn eigen huis niet mogelijk. Sinds vorig jaar pas ik regelmatig op dieren via online verzoeken zoals op websites als Petbnb, voor die tijd paste ik al jarenlang op de katten en honden (en andere dieren) van vrienden en familie. Zij wonen allemaal wat verder weg, dus meestal verblijf ik dan ook in hun huis en zorg ik behalve voor de huisdieren ook voor andere klusjes; denk aan grasmaaien, (moes)tuin bijhouden, planten water geven, post sorteren etc. Maar het allerbelangrijkste is natuurlijk de zorg voor de huisdieren. Ik ben georganiseerd en sterk in gedetailleerde instructies volgen. Jouw dier zal geen verschil in ritme en routine merken.

Wat waren we blij dat Christel op Freddie en ons huis kon passen. In een gesprek vooraf hadden we een goede klik met elkaar. Dankzij regelmatig contact over het wel en wee van onze kat, hebben we echt kunnen genieten van onze vakantie. Hopelijk mogen we nog eens een beroep op haar doen. Gert en Cobie

About the apartment The house is a calm place, as there are no other pets or children. Luckily, the Scheveningse Bosjes (meaning lots of fun and plenty of other dogs!) are just around the corner. If the schedule allows and they feel comfortable enough, I also love going for a walk on the beach. Important: the apartment is on the first floor. The staircase is very doable (it's not steep), but it's good to know. Practicalities - I'm flexible with my availability. - The response rate on my profile might be low because it was inactive. When I was living in Amsterdam, I found two addresses that regularly asked me to dog-sit for them. I've moved back to The Hague, and now that I'm all settled in, I'm looking forward to finding a new pet-sitting address. I am a Venezuelan, 29 years old. I recently moved to a new apartment in The Hague, together with my boyfriend, Rupert (33 years old), and we are so excited because we are allowed pets at home for the first time since we moved from our home country! I grew up with dogs as part of my family and that's the kind of family I wish to have someday in the future. Given my current lifestyle (busy with my work, going frequently to the office), I'd like to wait a bit longer until I have enough time to dedicate to them. I learned how to take care of dogs when I was a little girl. Our family dog, Bicho, stayed with us until I was 12 years old. After that, I was the go-to person to babysit the two dogs of my grandma and thereafter, the puppy of my aunt (all of them schnauzers). And not so long ago, I volunteered at the 'Animal Rescue' organization of Madrid (I studied my bachelor over there), where I'd take care of rescued dogs, take them for walks, and incentivize people to adopt them. My boyfriend also has vast experience with dogs. He was lucky to raise a Weimaraner and have him as his companion for over 10 years, and he currently shares caring responsibilities of his sister's Poodle - they live in Hamburg and we babysit every now and then. When it comes to my availability, I am always available during weekends -24 hours a day. However, if the booking is done some days in advance, arranging having a dog during the week is also possible, as I have the flexibility of working from home, which adds some extra availability for weekdays too. I am looking forward to meeting your dogs and loving them forever.

Lieve, creatieve en enthousiaste oppas!

Hoi! Vroeger toen ik op de basisschool zat liet ik alle honden uit de wijk uit, ik was altijd al dol op honden! Maar mijn moeder wilde geen hond. Wel had ik thuis altijd knaagdieren. Wanneer ik op mijn 19e het huis uit ging wist ik het meteen. Ik wil een hond! Ik ben dol op alle rassen maar wat mij toen toch het meeste aansprak waren de zogenoemde powerbreeds. Zo kocht ik mijn eerste Amerikaanse Stafford teefje. Geweldig lief dier, grote mond maar een klein hartje. Daarop volgde nog 2 honden. Nog een Amerikaanse Stafford en een Amerikaanse Pitbull Terrier. Ik heb dus jaren lang met 3 honden geleefd. Totaal 14 jaar lang honden in huis gehad. En het waren zeker niet de makkelijkste. Konden alle 3 niet met vreemde honden omgaan. Wat voor mij geen probleem was, ik vermeed losloopgebieden en een enkele niet luisterende losloper in de wijk wimpelde ik af. Al moet je daar behoorlijk sterk voor in je schoenen staan. Ik ben een ontzettend verantwoordelijke hondenbezitter geweest. Dat is nou eenmaal een must als je met sterke rassen leeft. Helaas heb ik 2 maanden geleden mijn laatste reu in moeten laten slapen. Nu na 14 jaar honden gehad te hebben is het huis zo stil! Ik mis het verschrikkelijk maar weer een eigen hond nemen is me nog te snel. Ik ben nu vooral beschikbaar in het weekend, door de weeks in overleg wellicht mogelijk. Heel belangrijk; ik heb een zoontje van 2,5 jaar oud. Ook hem leer ik om verantwoord met dieren om te gaan Hij mag nog niet achter een vogel aan rennen op straat haha. Ik verheug me ontzettend om weer af en toe lekker bezig te zijn met een hond(je). Lekker wandelen, wat trainen op een leuke positieve manier of een denkspelletje, ik sta overal voor open. En ook zeker voor alle rassen van groot tot klein!

Het was weer super. Silky relaxed en goed verzorgd.

Wegens een verhuistraject een tijdelijke stop op nieuwe aanvragen van honden die nog niet eerder bij ons hebben gelogeerd. Hoi! Oppassen doen we graag op kleine tot middelgrote honden, hier hebben wij ruime ervaring mee. Ik werk parttime en kan mijn uren zelf indelen en ook vanuit huis werken. Zo hoeft je hond niet (lang) alleen te zijn. Op warme dagen staan de openslaande deuren altijd open, de tuin met een grasveld is ruim en afgesloten. Hier kan er lekker vrij rondgelopen worden. Je hond borstelen, ogen schoonhouden is voor ons natuurlijk, hetzelfde als spelen en genoeg rust bieden. Wij maken geen dubbele boekingen zodat je hond echt alle aandacht alleen krijgt. Je hond is welkom voor een nachtje of meerdere nachten. Ook voor een dagje. Wij gaan goed voor je viervoeter zorgen! Wil je meer van ons weten? We maken graag een afspraak om kennis te maken. Helaas zijn ze er niet meer en ben ik nu op zoek naar nieuwe slachtoffers. Anders dan anders omschrijft mij (en hopelijk jullie) het best!
